The LTC3246 is a switched capacitor buck-boost DC/DC converter with integrated watchdog timer. The device produces a regulated output (3.3V, 5V or adjustable) from a 2.7V to 38V input. Switched capacitor fractional conversion is used to maintain regulation over a wide range of input voltage. Internal circuitry automatically selects the conversion ratio to optimize efficiency as input voltage and load conditions vary. No inductors are required.The LTC3246?s reset time and watchdog timeout may be set without external components, or adjusted using external capacitors. A windowed watchdog function is used for high reliability applications. The reset input can be used for additional supply monitoring or be configured as a pushbutton reset.Low operating current (20?A without load, 1.5?A in shutdown) and low external parts count make the LTC3246 ideally suited for low power, space constrained automotive/ industrial applications. Demonstration circuit 2481B-A is a high efficiency, high density, μModule® regulator with 4.5V to 15V input range. The output voltage is adjustable from 0.6V to 1.8V, and it can supply 86A maximum load current. The demo board has 1× LTM4677 and 1× LTM4650 μModule regulators. The LTM4677 is a dual 18A or single 36A step-down regulator with PMBus power system management, and the LTM4650 is a dual 25A or single 50A step-down regulator. Please see LTM4677 and LTM4650 data sheets for more detailed information. DC2481B-A powers up to default settings and produce power based on configuration resistors without the need for any serial bus communication. This allows easy evaluation of the DC/DC converter. To fully explore the extensive power system management features of the part, download the GUI software LTpowerPlay® onto your PC and use Analog Devices I2C/SMBus/PMBus dongle DC1613A to connect to the board. LTpowerPlay allows the user to reconfigure the part on the fly and store the configuration in EEPROM, view telemetry of voltage, current, temperature and fault status. The AD9609 is a monolithic, single channel 1.8 V supply, 10-bit,20/40/65/80 MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC). It featuresa high performance sample-and-hold circuit and on-chip voltagereference.The product uses multistage differential pipeline architecturewith output error correction logic to provide 10-bit accuracy at80 MSPS data rates and to guarantee no missing codes over thefull operating temperature range.The ADC contains several features designed to maximize flexibilityand minimize system cost, such as programmable clock and dataalignment and programmable digital test pattern generation. The LT3641 is a dual channel, current mode monolithic buck switching regulator with a power-on reset and a watchdog timer. Both regulators are synchronized to a single oscillator with an adjustable frequency (350kHz to 2.5MHz). At light loads, both regulators operate in low ripple Burst Mode? to maintain high effi ciency and low output ripple.The high voltage channel is a nonsynchronous buck with an internal 2.4A top switch that operates from an input of 4V to 42V and input transient protection to 55V. The low voltage channel operates from an input of 2.5V to 5.5V. Internal synchronous power switches provide high effi ciency without the need of external Schottky diode. Both channels have cycle-by-cycle current limit, providing protection against shorted outputs.The power-on reset and watchdog timeout periods are both adjustable using external capacitors. The AD9572 provides a multioutput clock generator function along with two on-chip PLL cores, optimized for fiber channel line card applications that include an Ethernet interface. The integer-N PLL design is based on the Analog Devices, Inc., proven portfolio of high performance, low jitter frequencysynthesizers to maximize network performance. Other applications with demanding phase noise and jitter requirements also benefit from this part. The PLL section consists of a low noise phase frequency detector (PFD), a precision charge pump (CP), a low phase noise voltage controlled oscillator (VCO), and a preprogrammed feedback divider and output divider. By connecting an external crystal or reference clock to the REFCLK pin, frequencies up to 156.25 MHz can be locked to the input reference. Each output divider and feedback divider ratio is preprogrammed for therequired output rates. A second PLL also operates as an integer-N synthesizer anddrives two LVPECL or LVDS output buffers for 106.25 MHzoperation. No external loop filter components are required, thusconserving valuable design time and board space. The AD9572 is available in a 40-lead, 6 mm ? 6 mm lead framechip scale package (LFCSP) and can be operated from a single3.3 V supply.
