The AD9550 is a phase-locked loop (PLL) based clock translatordesigned to address the needs of wireline communicationand base station applications. The device employs an integer-NPLL to accommodate the applicable frequency translationrequirements. The EV-SOMCRR-EZKIT carrier board enables users to plug-n-play with any of ADI’s System-on-Module (SoM) boards (e.g., EV-21569-SOM). It allows users to evaluate the most common peripherals and interfaces featured on ADI’s SHARC+ audio processors (e.g., Audio, Ethernet, MLB, USB, CAN, etc.) and features an on-board ICE emulator to provide additional cost savings by eliminating the need for an external emulator. Finally, the EV-SOMCRR-EZKIT carrier board also provides a connection to external A2B boards to allow for easy application expandability of customers’ systems. The EV-SOMCRR-EZKIT carrier board can be purchased individually or as part of an EZ-KIT evaluation system bundle (e.g., EV-21569-EZKIT) When attached to a supported SOM board, the EV-SOMCRR-EZKIT carrier board utilizes the CrossCore® Embedded Studio (CCES) development tools to enable developers to achieve faster time to market. Demonstration circuit 1368A exercises four adjustable linear regulators in parallel using the LT3080-1, which incorporates an internal ballast resistor. The ballast resistor allows direct paralleling of devices without the need for PC board resistors or sensor resistors.The paralleled devices provide up to 4.4A of output current at 1.2V. Architected as a precision current source and voltage follower, the LT3080-1 can be used in many applications requiring high current, adjustability to zero output, and no heat sink. The device brings out the collector of the pass transistor to allow low dropout operation when used with multiple supplies. The LT3080-1's output voltage can be programmed to any level between 0V and 36V; however the demo board has a reduced input voltage range from 1.7V to 25V due to the input capacitor voltage rating.

The AD5371 contains 40 14-bit DACs in a single 80-lead LQFP or 100-ball CSP_BGA. The device provides buffered voltage outputs with a span of 4? the reference voltage. The gain and offset of each DAC can be independently trimmed to remove errors. For even greater flexibility, the device is divided into five groups of eight DACs. Three offset DACs allow the output range of the groups to be adjusted. Group 0 can be adjusted by Offset DAC 0, Group 1 can be adjusted by Offset DAC 1, and Group 2 to Group 4 can be adjusted by Offset DAC 2.The AD5371 offers guaranteed operation over a wide supply range, with VSS from ?16.5 V to ?4.5 V and VDD from 9 V to 16.5 V. The output amplifier headroom requirement is 1.4 V operating with a load current of 1 mA.The AD5371 has a high speed serial interface that is compatible with SPI, QSPI?, MICROWIRE?, and DSP interface standards and can handle clock speeds of up to 50 MHz. It also has a 100 MHz low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) serial interface.The DAC registers are updated on reception of new data. All the outputs can be updated simultaneously by taking the LDAC input low. Each channel has a programmable gain and an offset adjust register to allow removal of gain and offset errors.Each DAC output is gained and buffered on chip with respect to an external SIGGNDx input. The ADL8111 is a low noise amplifier (LNA) with a nonreflective bypass switch that provides broadband operation from 10 MHz to 8000 MHz. The ADL8111 provides a low noise figure of 2.8 dB with a high output third-order intercept (OIP3) of 34 dBm simultaneously, which delivers a high dynamic range.
