The ADF7021-V is a high performance, low power, narrow-band RF transceiver based on the ADF7021-N. The architecture of the ADF7021-V transceiver is similar to that of the ADF7021-N except that an external VCO is used by the on-chip RF synthesizer for applications that require improved phase noise performance.The ADF7021-V is designed to operate in both the license-free ISM bands and in the licensed bands from 80 MHz to 960 MHz.To minimize RF feedthrough and spurious emissions, the external VCO operates at 2? or 4? the desired RF frequency; the ADF7021-V supports a maximum VCO frequency operation of 1920 MHz. The 4? VCO operation is programmable by enabling an additional on-chip divide-by-2 outside the RF synthesizer loop and offers improved phase noise performance.As with the ADF7021-N receiver, the IF filter bandwidths of 9 kHz, 13.5 kHz, and 18.5 kHz are supported, making the ADF7021-V ideally suited to worldwide narrow-band telemetry applications.The part has both Gaussian and raised cosine transmit data filtering options to improve spectral efficiency for narrow-band applications. The LTC7103-1 is a high efficiency, monolithic synchro-nous step-down DC/DC converter utilizing a constant frequency, average current mode control architecture. It operates from an input voltage range of 4.4V to 105V and provides an adjustable regulated output voltage from 1V to VIN while delivering up to 2.3A of output current.The LTC7103-1 features high frequency operation and a low minimum on-time that reduce inductor size and enable constant-frequency operation even at very high step-down ratios. In addition, the LTC7103-1 achieves the lowest possible dropout voltage with 100% maximum duty cycle operation. During light load operation, converter efficiency and output ripple can be optimized by selecting Burst Mode, pulse-skipping or forced continuous operation.The LTC7103-1 includes accurate, high speed average current programming and monitoring without the need for an external sense resistor. Demonstration circuit 1392A features the LTM4604AEV, the high efficiency, high density switch mode step-down μModule® regulator. The input voltage range is from 2.375V to 5.5V with a jumper selectable output voltage from 0.8V to 3.3V. The rated load current is 4A, while derating is necessary for certain VIN, VOUT and thermal conditions. By using the TRACK pin, the output can be set to coincidentally or ratiometrically track to another voltage rail.

The HMC641ALC4 is a broadband non-reflective GaAs pHEMT SP4T switch in a compact 4x4 mm ceramic package. Covering DC to 20 GHz, this switch offers high isolation, low insertion loss and on-chip termination of isolated ports. This switch also includes an on board binary decoder circuit which reduces the number of required logic control lines from four to two. The LTC4063 is a standalone linear charger for single cell lithium-ion batteries with an adjustable low dropout linear regulator (LDO). The adjustable LDO regulates an output voltage between 1.2V to 4.2V at up to 100mA load current. When the input supply (wall adapter or USB supply) is removed, the LDO regulates the output voltage without interruption. The battery charger and LDO regulator can be enabled individually.No external sense resistor or external blocking diode is required for charging due to the internal MOSFET architecture. Internal thermal feedback regulates the charge current to maintain a constant die temperature during high power operation or high ambient temperature conditions. The float voltage is fixed at 4.2V and the charge current is programmed with an external resistor. Charge termination methods include minimum charge current or maximum time. With power applied, the LTC4063 can be put into shutdown mode to reduce the supply current to 35?A and the battery drain current to less than 2?A.Other features include smart recharge, undervoltage lockout, LDO current limiting and a charge status pin to indicate when the charge cycle has completed.Applications Handheld Computers Portable MP3 Players Digital Cameras

Demonstration circuit 2290A features the LTC2387 family. With up to 15Msps, these differential input, single channel, 18-/16-Bit, serial, high speed successive approximation register (SAR) ADCs are available in a 32-Pin QFN package. The LTC2387 family has an internal 20ppm/°C reference and a serial LVDS interface. The demo manual refers to the LTC2387 but applies to all members of the family, the only difference being the sample rate and the number of bits. The DC2290A demonstrates the AC performance of the LTC2387 in conjunction with the DC718 data collection board. Differential amplifier demo boards are available separately that provide amplification of low level differential signals if required. Alternatively, by connecting the DC2290A into a customer application the performance of the LTC2387 can be evaluated directly in that circuit.
