The LTC1068 product family consists of four monolithic clock-tunable filter building blocks. Each product contains four matched, low noise, high accuracy 2nd order switched-capacitor filter sections. An external clock tunes the center frequency of each 2nd order filter section. The LTC1068 products differ only in their clock-to-center frequency ratio. The clock-to-center frequency ratio is set to 200:1 (LTC1068-200), 100:1 (LTC1068), 50:1 (LTC1068-50) or 25:1 (LTC1068-25). External resistors can modify the clock-to-center frequency ratio. High performance, quad 2nd order, dual 4th order or 8th order filters can be designed with an LTC1068 family product. Designing filters with an LTC1068 product is fully supported by FilterCAD? filter design software for Windows. The LTC1068 products are available in a 28-pin SSOP surface mount package. A customized version of an LTC1068 family product can be obtained in a 16-lead SO package with internal thin-film resistors. Demonstration circuit 1471 is a monolithic step-down DC/DC switching regulator featuring the LT3990. The switching frequency is adjustable up to 2.2MHz. The demo circuit is designed for 5V, 350mA output from a 6.5V to 62V input. The wide input range of the LT3990 allows a variety of input sources including automotive batteries and 24V industrial supplies. Low ripple Burst Mode increases the efficiency at the light load while keeping the output ripple below 5mV in a typical application. The part is in shutdown when the EN pin is low and active when the pin is high. The threshold of the EN pin is accurate at 1V when VIN is above 4.2V. Adding a resistor divider from VIN to EN can program the LT3990 to regulate the output only when VIN is above a desired voltage. The catch diode and boost diode are integrated to reduce the components count and solution size. The circuit consumes only 2.5μA of quiescent current.

The LTC2327-16 is a low noise, high speed 16-bit successive approximation register (SAR) ADC with pseudo-differential inputs. Operating from a single 5V supply, the LTC2327-16 has a ?10.24V true bipolar input range, making it ideal for high voltage applications which require a wide dynamic range. The LTC2327-16 achieves ?1.5LSB INL maximum, no missing codes at 16 bits with 93.5dB SNR.The LTC2327-16 has an on-board single-shot capable reference buffer and low drift (20ppm/?C max) 2.048V temperature compensated reference. The LTC2327-16 also has a high speed SPI-compatible serial interface that supports 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 5V logic while also featuring a daisy-chain mode. The fast 500ksps throughput with no cycle latency makes the LTC2327-16 ideally suited for a wide variety of high speed applications. An internal oscillator sets the conversion time, easing external timing considerations. The LTC2327-16 dissipates only 36mW and automatically naps between conversions, leading to reduced power dissipation that scales with the sampling rate. A sleep mode is also provided to reduce the power consumption of the LTC2327-16 to 300?W for further power savings during inactive periods. The bq2431x evaluation module is a complete charger module for evaluating a charger front-end protection and charger solution using the bq2431x and bq24080 devices. It is designed to deliver up to 700 mA of charge current to Li-ion or Li-polymer applications. The charger front-end protection current is designed to 1000 mA. The bq2431x protects the charging system against three types of failures: input overvoltage when the AC adapter fails to regulate its voltage; load overcurrent when failures such as a short circuit occur in the charging system; and battery overcharge.

Demonstration circuit 2322A is designed for evaluation of the LTC5576 active upconverting mixer with very wide input bandwidth and low distortion. Its OUT port is optimized for 4GHz to 6GHz applications, but is easily retuned for output frequencies as low as 3GHz, or as high as 8GHz with minor performance degradation. The IN port is optimized for 30MHz to 6GHz operation while the LO port is always 50Ω matched from 1GHz to 8GHz.
