The ADF7030-1 is a fully integrated, radio transceiver achieving high performance at very low power. The ADF7030-1 is ideally suited for applications that require long range, network robustness, and long battery life. It is suitable for applications that operate in the ISM, SRD, and licensed frequency bands at 169.4 MHz to 169.6 MHz, 426 MHz to 470 MHz, and 863 MHz to 960 MHz. It provides extensive support for standards-based protocols like IEEE802.15.4g while also providing flexibility to support a wide range of proprietary protocols.The highly configurable low intermediate frequency (IF) receiver supports a large range of receiver channel bandwidths from 2.6 kHz to 406 kHz. This range of receiver channel bandwidths allows the ADF7030-1 to support ultranarrow-band, narrow-band, and wideband channel spacing.The ADF7030-1 features two independent PAs supporting output power ranges of ?20 dBm to +13 dBm and ?20 dBm to +17 dBm. The PAs support ultrafine adjustment of the power with a step resolution of 0.1 dB. The PA output power is exceptionally robust over temperature and voltage. The PAs have an automatic power ramp control to limit spectral splatter to meet regulatory standards.The ADF7030-1 features an on-chip ARM??Cortex?-M0 processor that performs radio control, radio calibration, and packet management. Cortex-M0 eases the processing burden of the host processor because the ADF7030-1 integrates the lower layers of a typical communication protocol stack. This internal processor also permits the download and execution of Analog Devices, Inc., provided firmware modules that can extend the functionality of the ADF7030-1.The ADF7030-1 has two packet modes: generic packet mode and IEEE802.15.4g mode. In generic packet mode, the packet format is highly flexible and fully programmable, thereby ensuring its compatibility with proprietary packet formats. In IEEE802.15.4g packet mode, the packet format conforms to the?IEEE802.15.4g standard. FEC, as per the IEEE802.15.4g standard, is also supported.The ADF7030-1 operates with a power supply range of 2.2 V to 3.6 V and has very low power consumption in both Tx and Rx modes, enabling long lifetimes in battery-operated systems. An ultralow power deep sleep mode achieves a typical current of 10 nA with the configuration memory retained.A complete wireless solution can be built using a small number of external discrete components and a host processor (typically a microcontroller). The host processor can configure the ADF7030-1 using a simple command-based protocol over a standard 4-wire SPI interface. A single-byte command transitions the radio between states or performs a radio function.The ADF7030-1 is available in two package types: a 6 mm ? 6 mm, 40-lead LFCSP and a 7 mm ? 7 mm, 48-lead LQFP. Both package types use NiPdAu plating to mitigate against silver migration in high humidity applications. The ADF7030-1 operating temperature range is ?40?C to +85?C.For Figure 13 to Figure 19, Figure 30, Figure 42, Figure 60, Figure 61, and Figure 75 in the Typical Performance Characteristics section, PA_COARSE is a programmable value that provides a coarse adjustment of the PA output power. This value can be programmed in the range of 1 to 6 for PA1, and from 1 to 10 for PA2. PA_FINE is a programmable value that provides a fine adjustment of the PA output power. This value can be programmed in the range of 3 to 127 for both PA1 and PA2. PA_MICRO is a programmable value that provides a microadjustment (typically <0.1 dB) of the PA output power. This value can be programmed in the range of 1 to 31 for both PA1 and PA2. PAOLDO_VOUT_CON is a programmable value that configures the internal LDO voltage that provides bias for the PA. ADP150 Signal Chain Evaluation Board | Dual Boost/Inverting Converter

Demonstration circuit SCP-ADP150-EVALZ features the ADP150, an ultralow noise (9μV), low dropout, linear regulator that operates from 2.2V to 5.5V and provides up to 150mA of output current. ADP150AUJZ-3.3-R7 fixed volt-age IC is installed on this board. Like all boards in the Signal Chain Power series, this board is designed to be easily plugged into other SCP boards to form a complete signal chain power system, enabling fast evaluation of low power signal chains. To evaluate this board, some universal SCP hardware is required, namely: SCP-INPUT-EVALZ SCP-OUTPUT-EVALZ SCP-FILTER-EVALZ SCP-THRUBRD-EVALZ SCP-1X2BKOUT-EVALZ SCP-1X5BKOUT-EVALZ SCP-5X1-EVALZ   To properly evaluate SCP series demo boards, you will need the SCP Configurator companion software. SCP Configurator can help you choose the right board and topology for your design. Note that the Demo Manual does not cover details important to the operation and configuration regarding the ADP150. The LTC3726 is a secondary-side controller for synchronous forward converters. When used in conjunction with the LTC3705/LTC3725 gate driver and primary-side controllers, the part creates a complete isolated power supply that combines the simplicity of OPTI-LOOP? compensation with the speed of secondary-side control.The LTC3726 has been designed to simplify the design of highly efficient, secondary-side forward converters. Working in concert with the LTC3705 or LTC 3725, the LTC3726 forms a robust, self-starting converter that eliminates the need for the separate bias regulator that is commonly used in secondary-side control applications. The LTC3612 is a low quiescent current monolithic synchronous buck regulator using a current mode, constant frequency architecture. The no-load DC supply current in sleep mode is only 70?A while maintaining the output voltage (Burst Mode operation) at no load, dropping to zero current in shutdown. The 2.25V to 5.5V input supply voltage range makes the LTC3612 ideally suited for single Li-Ion as well as fixed low voltage input applications. 100% duty cycle capability provides low dropout operation, extending the operating time in battery-powered systems.The operating frequency is externally programmable up to 4MHz, allowing the use of small surface mount inductors. For switching noise-sensitive applications, the LTC3612 can be synchronized to an external clock at up to 4MHz.Forced continuous mode operation in the LTC3612 reduces noise and RF interference. Adjustable compensation allows the transient response to be optimized over a wide range of loads and output capacitors.The internal synchronous switch increases efficiency and eliminates the need for an external catch diode, saving external components and board space. Demonstration circuit 1311 is a Telecom isolated DC/DC converter featuring the LTC3805/-5 constant frequency current mode flyback controller. The DC1311 converts 18V to 72V input voltage to an isolated 3A of output current at 3.3V. The 300kHz constant frequency operation is maintained down to very light load to reduce low frequency noise generated over a wide range of load current. The converter provides high output voltage accuracy (typically ±2%) over wide load range with no minimum load requirement. The DC1311 also provides non-isolated design by removing opto coupler and LTC4430 circuit. The demonstration circuit can be easily modified to generate different output voltages up to 15V. As output voltage is increased, the maximum output current must be reduced to limit the output power to no more than 10W.

The LT1952/LT1952-1 are current mode PWM controllers optimized to control the forward converter topology, using one primary MOSFET. The LT1952/LT1952-1 provide synchronous rectifier control, resulting in extremely high efficiency. A programmable Volt-Second clamp provides a safeguard for transformer reset that prevents saturation. This allows a single MOSFET on the primary side to reliably run at greater than 50% duty cycle for high MOSFET, transformer and rectifier utilization. The devices include soft-start for controlled exit from shutdown and undervoltage lockout. A precision 107mV current limit threshold, independent of duty cycle, combines with softstart to provide hiccup short circuit protection. The LT1952 is optimized for micropower bootstrap startup from high input voltages. The LT1952-1 allows startup from lower input voltages. Programmable slope compensation and leading edge blanking allow optimization of loop bandwidth with a wide range of inductors and MOSFETs. Each device can be programmed over a 100kHz to 500kHz frequency range and the part can be synchronized to an external clock. The error amplifier is a true op amp, allowing a wide range of compensation networks.
