The LTC1068 product family consists of four monolithic clock-tunable filter building blocks. Each product contains four matched, low noise, high accuracy 2nd order switched-capacitor filter sections. An external clock tunes the center frequency of each 2nd order filter section. The LTC1068 products differ only in their clock-to-center frequency ratio. The clock-to-center frequency ratio is set to 200:1 (LTC1068-200), 100:1 (LTC1068), 50:1 (LTC1068-50) or 25:1 (LTC1068-25). External resistors can modify the clock-to-center frequency ratio. High performance, quad 2nd order, dual 4th order or 8th order filters can be designed with an LTC1068 family product. Designing filters with an LTC1068 product is fully supported by FilterCAD? filter design software for Windows. The LTC1068 products are available in a 28-pin SSOP surface mount package. The ADP2138 and ADP2139 are high efficiency, low quiescent current, synchronous step-down dc-to-dc converters. The ADP2139 has the additional feature of an internal discharge switch. The total solution requires only three tiny external components. When the MODE pin is set high, the buck regulator operates in forced PWM mode, which provides low peak-to-peak ripple for power supply noise sensitive loads at the expense of light load efficiency. When the MODE pin is set low, the buck regulator automatically switches operating modes, depending on the load current level. At higher output loads, the buck regulator operates in PWM mode. When the load current falls below a predefined threshold, the regulator operates in power save mode (PSM), improving light load efficiency.The ADP2138/ADP2139 operate on input voltages of 2.3 V to 5.5 V, which allows for single lithium or lithium polymer cell, multiple alkaline or NiMH cell, PCMCIA, USB, and other standard power sources. The maximum load current of 800 mA is achievable across the input voltage range.The ADP2138/ADP2139 are available in fixed output voltages of 3.3 V, 3.0 V, 2.8 V, 2.5 V, 1.8 V, 1.5 V, 1.2 V, 1.0 V, and 0.8 V. All versions include an internal power switch and synchronous rectifier for minimal external part count and high efficiency. The ADP2138/ADP2139 have internal soft start and they are internally compensated. During logic controlled shutdown, the input is disconnected from the output and the ADP2138/ADP2139 draw 0.2 ?A (typical) from the input source.Other key features include undervoltage lockout to prevent deep battery discharge, and soft start to prevent input current overshoot at startup. The AD9635 is a dual, 12-bit, 80 MSPS/125 MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with an on-chip sample-and-hold circuit designed for low cost, low power, small size, and ease of use. The product operates at a conversion rate of up to 125 MSPS and is optimized for outstanding dynamic performance and low power in applications where a small package size is critical.The ADC requires a single 1.8 V power supply and LVPECL-/ CMOS-/LVDS-compatible sample rate clock for full performanceoperation. No external reference or driver components arerequired for many applications.The ADC automatically multiplies the sample rate clock for theappropriate LVDS serial data rate. A data clock output (DCO) for capturing data on the output and a frame clock output (FCO) forsignaling a new output byte are provided. The ADATE324 is a complete, single-chip, quad-channel automatic test equipment (ATE) solution that performs the pin electronics (PE) functions of a driver, a comparator, and an active load (DCL). The device also features a high voltage (VHH) drive capability per chip to support flash memory testing applications. Dedicated 16-bit digital-to-analog converters (DACs) with on-chip calibration registers provide all the necessary dc levels for operation of the device.The voltage driver features three active states: high, low, and terminate mode, as well as a high impedance inhibit state. The inhibit state, in conjunction with the integrated dynamic clamps, facilitates significant attenuation of transmission line reflections when the driver is not actively terminating the line. The open circuit drive capability is ?1.5 V to +4.5 V to accommodate the standard range of ATE and instrumentation applications.The ADATE324 can be used as a quad, single-ended, pin electronics channel or as a dual differential channel. In additional to per channel, high speed window comparators, the ADATE324 provides two programmable threshold differential comparators for differential ATE applications.All dc levels for DCL functions are generated by dedicated on-chip 16-bit DACs. To facilitate accurate programming levels, the ADATE324 also includes an integrated calibration function to correct for gain and offset errors of each functional block. Correction coefficients can be stored on chip, and any values written to the DACs are automatically adjusted using the appropriate correction factors.The ADATE324 uses a serial programmable interface (SPI) bus to program all functional blocks, DACs, and on-chip calibration constants. Demonstration circuit 2419A features the LTC3372 in a
multi-output step-down converter. The controller portion
of the LTC3372 drives a high output voltage (HV) buck
converter which has an input voltage range of 6V to 60V.
Its output voltage (VOUT_HV) is nominally 5V but can be
configured for either 5V or 3.3V with the VOUTPRG pin.
VOUT_HV supplies power to the configurable buck regulator.
This regulator provides four low voltage (LV) outputs
labelled VOUT1-4. These outputs are 1.2V/2A, 1.8V/2A,
2.5V/2A and 3.3V/2A respectively. When VOUT_HV is configured
for 5V, it can supply 6A to the external loads with
full load on VOUT1-4. With no load on VOUT1-4, VOUT_HV
can supply 10A to the external loads.
The LV buck regulator consists of eight power stages that
can be arranged in up to four channels. The LV regulator
on the DC2419A is setup for four channels of two power
stages each. With modifications, the LV buck regulator
can be setup for eight different configurations.
If VOUT_HV is programmed for 3.3V, then VOUT4 which
provides 3.3V/2A will be in dropout. This rail will require
an external input voltage to stay in regulation.
The LV rails operate at 2MHz and the HV converter operates
at one-sixth this frequency or 333kHz. The high frequency
of the LV rails allows the use of 4mm × 4mm
inductors. The power stage for the HV converter consists
of 60V avalanche rated MOSFETs and a 2.2μH 10mm ×
10mm inductor. A 4mΩ discrete sense resistor is used
to sense current.
The low IQ current of the LTC3372 provides high efficiency
at light loads. When the VOUT_HV is supplying the nominal
5V, its Burst Mode® efficiency with 1mA load is 90.3% for
a 12V input. When the HV converter is off,
it only draws 27μA from a 12V input.
