ADP130-0.8-EVALZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADP130 is a low quiescent current, low dropout linear regulator. It is designed to operate in dual-supply mode with an input voltage as low as 1.2 V to increase efficiency and provide up to 350 mA of output current. The low 17 mV dropout voltage at a 100 mA load improves efficiency and allows operation over a wider input voltage range.A dual-supply power solution typically improves conversion efficiency over a single-supply solution because the higher VBIAS supply powers the part, and the lower VIN supply delivers current to the load. The power dissipated in the device is thereby reduced. The ADP130 is optimized for stable operation with small 1 ?F ceramic output capacitors. The ADP130 delivers good transient performance with minimal board area. The ADP130 is available in fixed output voltages ranging from : 0.80 V to 3.0 V.The ADP130 has a typical internal soft start time of 200 ?s. Short-circuit protection and thermal overload protection circuits prevent damage in adverse conditions. The ADP130 is available in a tiny 5-lead TSOT package for the smallest footprint solution to meet a variety of portable power applications.ApplicationsMobile phonesDigital camera and audio devicesPortable and battery-powered equipmentPost dc-to-dc regulationData Sheet, Rev. 0, 8/08

EVAL-AD7794EBZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7794/AD7795 are low power, low noise, complete analog front ends for high precision measurement applications. They contain a low noise, 24-/16-bit ?-? ADC with six differential inputs. The on-chip low noise instrumentation amplifier means that signals of small amplitude can be interfaced directly to the ADC.Each device contains a precision, low noise, low drift internal band gap reference, and can also accept up to two external differential references. Other on-chip features include programmable excitation current sources, burnout currents, and a bias voltage generator that is used to set the common-mode voltage of a channel to AVDD/2. The low-side power switch can be used to power down bridge sensors between conversions, minimizing the system?s power consumption. The AD7794/AD7795 can operate with either an internal clock or an external clock. The output data rate from each part can vary from 4.17 Hz to 470 Hz.Both parts operate with a power supply from 2.7 V to 5.25 V. The B-grade parts (AD7794 and AD7795) are specified for a temperature range of ?40?C to +105?C while the C-grade part (AD7794) is specified for a temperature range of ?40?C to +125?C. They consume a current of 400 ?A typical and are housed in a 24-lead TSSOP.Applications Temperature measurement Pressure measurement Weigh scales Strain gage transducers Gas analysis

LT3001 Demo Board | Micropower No-Opto isolated Flyback Converter with 65V/1.2A Switch
Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 3006A is a compact no-opto
isolated flyback converter featuring the LT3001. The
DC3006A outputs 12V, and maintains tight regulation
with as load current from 1.5mA up to 300mA over an
input voltage from 4V to 32V. The output current capability increases with the input voltage, as shown in the
Performance Summary table.
Transformer leakage inductance causes a voltage spike on the primary side after the power switch turns off. The leakage inductance spike is limited within the MOSFET’s voltage rating of 65V with an RC snubber and a TVS clamp which damp the ringing and clamp the MOSFET drain voltage to a safe level.
The Performance Summary table summarizes the performance of the demo board at room temperature. The demo circuit can be easily modified for different applications with some pre-designed transformers.
The LT3001 datasheet gives a complete description of the part, operation and application information. The datasheet must be read in conjunction with this quick start guide for demo circuit 3006A.
