The LTC3225/LTC3225-1 are programmable supercapacitor chargers designed to charge two supercapacitors in series to a selectable fixed output voltage (4.8V/5.3V for the LTC3225 and 4V/4.5V for the LTC3225-1) from input supplies as low as 2.8V to 5.5V. Automatic cell balancing prevents overvoltage damage to either supercapacitor. No balancing resistors are required. Low input noise, low quiescent current and low external parts count (one flying capacitor, one bypass capacitor at VIN and one programming resistor) make the LTC3225/LTC3225-1 ideally suited for small battery-powered applications. Charge current level is programmed with an external resistor. When the input supply is removed, the LTC3225/LTC3225-1 automatically enter a low current state, drawing less than 1?A from the supercapacitors. Demonstration Circuit 1227A is a wide VIN, high efficiency, fixed frequency synchronous Buck-Boost converter using the LTC3534EDHC. The LTC3534EDHC topology operates with input voltages above, below or equal to the output voltage, making the product ideal for multi-cell Alkaline/NiMH or single Lithium Ion/Polymer applications where the output voltage is within the battery voltage range. The LTC3534EDHC operates with a 2.4V to 7V input voltage range and a VOUT range of 1.8V to 7V. The demonstration board has been designed to operate with VIN from 3.6V to 7V and VOUT is set to 5V with an output current up to 500mA.

The AD8476 is a very low power, fully differential precision amplifier with integrated gain resistors for unity gain. It is an ideal choice for driving low power, high performance ADCs as a single-ended-to-differential or differential-to-differential amplifier. It provides a precision gain of 1, common-mode level shifting, low temperature drift, and rail-to-rail outputs for maximum dynamic range.The AD8476 also provides overvoltage protection from large industrial input voltages up to ?23 V while operating on a dual 5 V supply. Power dissipation on a single 5 V supply is only 1.5 mW.The AD8476 works well with SAR, ?-?, and pipeline converters. The high current output stage of the part allows it to drive the switched capacitor front-end circuits of many ADCs with minimal error.Unlike many differential drivers on the market, the AD8476 is a high precision amplifier. They produce a high level (5 mV/?C) output directly from a thermocouple signal by combining an ice point reference with a precalibrated amplifier. They can be used as standalone thermometers or as switched output setpoint controllers using either a fixed or remote setpoint control.The AD8494/AD8495/AD8496/AD8497 can be powered from a single-ended supply (less than 3 V) and can measure temperatures below 0?C by offsetting the reference input. To minimize self-heating, an unloaded AD849x typically operates with a total supply current of 180 ?A, but it is also capable of delivering in excess of ?5 mA to a load.The AD8494 and AD8496 are precalibrated by laser wafer trimming to match the characteristics of J type (iron-constantan) thermocouples; the AD8495 and AD8497 are laser trimmed to match the characteristics of K type (chromel-alumel) thermo-couples. See Table 1 on the data sheet for the optimized ambient temperature range of each part.The AD8494/AD8495/AD8496/AD8497 allow a wide variety of supply voltages. The AD9083 is a 16-channel, 125 MHz bandwidth, continuous time ?-? (CTSD) ADC. The device features an on-chip, programmable, single-pole antialiasing filter and termination resistor that is designed for low power, small size, and ease of use. The 16 ADC cores features a first-order, CTSD modulator architecture with integrated, background nonlinearity correction logic and self cancelling dither. Each ADC features wide bandwidth inputs supporting a variety of user-selectable input ranges. An integrated voltage reference eases design considerations. The analog input and clock signals are differential inputs. Each ADC has a signal processing tile to filter out of band shaped noise from the ?-? ADC and reduce the sample rate. Each tile contains a cascaded integrator comb (CIC) filter, a quadrature digital downconverter (DDC) with multiple finite input response (FIR) decimation filters (decimate by J block), or up to three quadrature DDC channels with averaging decimation filters for data gating applications. Users can configure the Subclass 1 JESD204B based, high speed serialized output in a variety of lane configurations (up to four), depending on the DDC configuration and the acceptable lane rate of the receiving logic device. Multiple device synchronization is supported through the SYSREF?, TRIG?, and SYNCINB? input pins. The AD9083 has flexible power-down options that allow significant power savings when desired. All of these features can be programmed using a 1.8 V capable 3-wire serial port interface (SPI).
