The AD9625 is a 12-bit monolithic sampling analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates at conversion rates of up to 2.6 giga samples per second (GSPS). This product is designed for sampling wide bandwidth analog signals up to the second Nyquist zone. The combination of wide input bandwidth, high sampling rate, and excellent linearity of the AD9625 is ideally suited for spectrum analyzers, data acquisition systems, and a wide assortment of military electronics applications, such as radar and jamming/antijamming measures.The analog input, clock, and SYSREF? signals are differential inputs. The JESD204B-based high speed serialized output is configurable in a variety of one-, two-, four-, six-, or eight-lane configurations. Demonstration circuit 2419A features the LTC3372 in a multi-output step-down converter. The controller portion of the LTC3372 drives a high output voltage (HV) buck converter which has an input voltage range of 6V to 60V. Its output voltage (VOUT_HV) is nominally 5V but can be configured for either 5V or 3.3V with the VOUTPRG pin. VOUT_HV supplies power to the configurable buck regulator. This regulator provides four low voltage (LV) outputs labelled VOUT1-4. These outputs are 1.2V/2A, 1.8V/2A, 2.5V/2A and 3.3V/2A respectively. When VOUT_HV is configured for 5V, it can supply 6A to the external loads with full load on VOUT1-4. With no load on VOUT1-4, VOUT_HV can supply 10A to the external loads. The LV buck regulator consists of eight power stages that can be arranged in up to four channels. The LV regulator on the DC2419A is setup for four channels of two power stages each. With modifications, the LV buck regulator can be setup for eight different configurations. If VOUT_HV is programmed for 3.3V, then VOUT4 which provides 3.3V/2A will be in dropout. This rail will require an external input voltage to stay in regulation. The LV rails operate at 2MHz and the HV converter operates at one-sixth this frequency or 333kHz. The high frequency of the LV rails allows the use of 4mm × 4mm inductors. The power stage for the HV converter consists of 60V avalanche rated MOSFETs and a 2.2μH 10mm × 10mm inductor. A 4mΩ discrete sense resistor is used to sense current. The low IQ current of the LTC3372 provides high efficiency at light loads. When the VOUT_HV is supplying the nominal 5V, its Burst Mode® efficiency with 1mA load is 90.3% for a 12V input. When the HV converter is off, it only draws 27μA from a 12V input. The AD7124-8 is a low power, low noise, completely integratedanalog front end for high precision measurement applications.The device contains a low noise, 24-bit ?-? analog-to-digitalconverter (ADC), and can be configured to have 8 differentialinputs or 15 single-ended or pseudo differential inputs. The onchiplow gain stage ensures that signals of small amplitude canbe interfaced directly to the ADC.One of the major advantages of the AD7124-8 is that it gives theuser the flexibility to employ one of three integrated powermodes. The current consumption, range of output data rates,and rms noise can be tailored with the power mode selected.The device also offers a multitude of filter options, ensuring thatthe user has the highest degree of flexibility.The AD7124-8 can achieve simultaneous 50 Hz and 60 Hzrejection when operating at an output data rate of 25 SPS (singlecycle settling), with rejection in excess of 80 dB achieved at loweroutput data rates.The AD7124-8 establishes the highest degree of signal chainintegration. The device contains a precision, low noise, lowdrift internal band gap reference and accepts an externaldifferential reference, which can be internally buffered. Otherkey integrated features include programmable low drift excitationcurrent sources, burnout currents, and a bias voltage generator,which sets the common-mode voltage of a channel to AVDD/2.The low-side power switch enables the user to power downbridge sensors between conversions, ensuring the absoluteminimal power consumption of the system. The device alsoallows the user the option of operating with either an internalclock or an external clock.The integrated channel sequencer allows several channels to beenabled simultaneously, and the AD7124-8 sequentially convertson each enabled channel, simplifying communication with thedevice. As many as 16 channels can be enabled at any time, achannel being defined as an analog input or a diagnostic suchas a power supply check or a reference check. This uniquefeature allows diagnostics to be interleaved with conversions.The AD7124-8 also supports per channel configuration. Thedevice allows eight configurations or setups. Each configurationconsists of gain, filter type, output data rate, buffering, andreference source. The user can assign any of these setups on achannel by channel basis.The AD7124-8 also has extensive diagnostic functionalityintegrated as part of its comprehensive feature set. Thesediagnostics include a cyclic redundancy check (CRC), signalchain checks, and serial interface checks, which lead to a morerobust solution. These diagnostics reduce the need for externalcomponents to implement diagnostics, resulting in reducedboard space needs, reduced design cycle times, and cost savings.The failure modes effects and diagnostic analysis (FMEDA) of atypical application has shown a safe failure fraction (SFF) greaterthan 90% according to IEC 61508.The device operates with a single analog power supply from 2.7 Vto 3.6 V or a dual 1.8 V power supply. The digital supply has arange of 1.65 V to 3.6 V. It is specified for a temperature rangeof ?40?C to +125?C. The ADP2138 and ADP2139 are high efficiency, low quiescent current, synchronous step-down dc-to-dc converters. The ADP2139 has the additional feature of an internal discharge switch. The total solution requires only three tiny external components. When the MODE pin is set high, the buck regulator operates in forced PWM mode, which provides low peak-to-peak ripple for power supply noise sensitive loads at the expense of light load efficiency. When the MODE pin is set low, the buck regulator automatically switches operating modes, depending on the load current level. At higher output loads, the buck regulator operates in PWM mode. When the load current falls below a predefined threshold, the regulator operates in power save mode (PSM), improving light load efficiency.The ADP2138/ADP2139 operate on input voltages of 2.3 V to 5.5 V, which allows for single lithium or lithium polymer cell, multiple alkaline or NiMH cell, PCMCIA, USB, and other standard power sources. The maximum load current of 800 mA is achievable across the input voltage range.The ADP2138/ADP2139 are available in fixed output voltages of 3.3 V, 3.0 V, 2.8 V, 2.5 V, 1.8 V, 1.5 V, 1.2 V, 1.0 V, and 0.8 V. All versions include an internal power switch and synchronous rectifier for minimal external part count and high efficiency. The ADP2138/ADP2139 have internal soft start and they are internally compensated. During logic controlled shutdown, the input is disconnected from the output and the ADP2138/ADP2139 draw 0.2 ?A (typical) from the input source.Other key features include undervoltage lockout to prevent deep battery discharge, and soft start to prevent input current overshoot at startup.
