Based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler? technology, the dc-to-dc converter provides regulated, isolated power that meets CISPR 32/EN 55032 Class B limits at a full load on a 2-layer printed circuit board (PCB) with ferrites. The ADXL346 Development Board is an easy-to-use tool designed to shorten application development time by providing a ready-to-use platform for data collection and firmware development. The board is pre-configured as a datalogger that can be used to gather data for refining algorithms, tuning thresholds, and generally familiarizing oneself with accelerometer data. Powered by two AAA batteries, the board is completely untethered and integrates seamlessly into portable applications. Logged data is stored on a MicroSD memory card, providing essentially unlimited memory capacity and operating system versatility. Data is stored in a text (.txt) file, so no software installation is required to operate the board or read data. A 2GB MicroSD card and a USB MicroSD card reader are provided with the board. Additionally, the board is fully programmable, providing a hardware platform on which firmware can be tested in parallel with development of application hardware. Communications and processing are performed by an ARM7-based ADuC7024 micro-controller, and firmware is written in C. A programming cable is provided with the board, and a development environment and header files are supplied on this page. Finally, the platform can be duplicated in the final application, having already been tested with the application firmware. Demonstration circuits 1024A-A and 1024A-B are Micropower Low Noise Boost Converters With Output Disconnect featuring the LT3494 and LT3494A respectively. The demo circuits demonstrate small size and low component count in Boost configuration. Both demo versions are designed to convert a 3V-4.2V source to 15V. The only difference is in the load capability. The 1024A–A supplies 17mA at 3VIN while the 1024A–B supplies 27mA, also at 3VIN. The LT3494 features integrated Schottky diode, output disconnect function, dimming control, output sense resistor and non-audible switching frequency over the entire load range.

Demonstration circuits 1053A-E through 1053A-H exercise the LTC3526L family of high efficiency synchronous boost converters, and are capable of operating with an input voltage range from 0.8V to 5.5V. The 2 × 2 mm DFN thermally enhanced package, high switching frequency (1MHz or 2MHz) and 550mA internal power switches provide a very tiny solution. The LTC3526L family also features output disconnect, and the input voltage can be greater or less than the output voltage. DC1053A-E features the LTC3526L (Burst mode operation) and the DC1053A-F features the LTC3526LB (Burst mode defeated). Both have a 1MHz switching frequency and use a 4.7µH inductor.
