The HMC701LP6CE is a SiGe BiCMOS fractional-N frequency synthesizer. The synthesizer includes a 8GHz 16-bit RF N-Divider, a 24-bit delta-sigma modulator, a very low noise digital phase frequency detector (PFD), and a precision controlled charge pump. In addition the synthesizer supports an external step tuned VCO.The fractional synthesizer features an advanced delta-sigma modulator design that allows ultra-fine frequency step sizes. The synthesizer features the ability to alter both the phase-frequency detector (PFD) gain and the cycle slipping characteristics of the PFD. This feature can reduce the time to arrive at the new frequency by 50% vs. conventional PFDs. Ultra low in-close phase noise also allows wider loop bandwidths for faster frequency hopping.The synthesizer contains a built-in linear sweeper function, which allows it to perform frequency chirps with a wide variety of sweep times, polarities and dwells, all with an external or automatic sweep trigger.A General Purpose Output (GPO) bus supports the use of multiple VCOs. The AD5683R/AD5682R/AD5681R/AD5683, members of thenanoDAC+? family, are low power, single-channel, 16-/14-/12-bitbuffered voltage out digital-to-analog converters (DACs). Thedevices, except the AD5683, include an enabled by default internal2.5 V reference, offering 2 ppm/?C drift. The output span can beprogrammed to be 0 V to VREF or 0 V to 2 ? VREF. All devicesoperate from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply and are guaranteedmonotonic by design. DC1724A is a μModule® step-down converter, featuring the LTM8029, which consumes only 5μA of quiescent current. The demo circuit is designed for a 5V, 600mA output at an operating frequency of 600kHz. The input voltage range is from 5.6V to 36V.
If the input voltage decreases towards the programmed output voltage, the LT3973 will start to skip switch-off times and decrease the switching frequency to maintain output regulation up to a maximum duty cycle of approximately 97.5%.

Demonstration circuit 2071A features the LTC2373 family. The LTC2374/LTC2373/LTC2372 are low noise, high speed, 8-channel, 16/18-bit successive approximation register (SAR) ADCs. The demo manual refers to the LTC2373-18 but applies to all parts in the family, the only differences being the number of bits and the maximum sample rate. Operating from a single 5V supply, the LTC2373-18 has a highly configurable, low crosstalk, 8-channel input multiplexer, supporting fully differential, pseudo-differential unipolar and pseudo-differential bipolar analog input ranges.
