The LTC3880/LTC3880-1 are dual, PolyPhase DC/DC synchronous step-down switching regulator controllers with an I2C-based PMBus compliant serial interface. The controllers use a constant frequency, current mode architecture that is supported by LTpowerPlay? software development tool with graphical user interface (GUI).Switching frequency, output voltage, and device address can be programmed using external configuration resistors. Parameters can be set via the digital interface or stored in EEPROM. Voltage, current, internal/external temperature and fault status can be read back through the bus interface. The LTC3880 incorporates a 5V linear regulator while the LTC3880-1 uses an external 5V supply for minimum power loss. See comparison to LTC3887 below. LT8611 Demo Board | Micropower Sync Buck with Current Sense, 3.8V ≤ VIN ≤ 42V, VOUT = 3.3V @ 2.5A

Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 1750A is a 42V, 2.5A micropower synchronous step-down regulator with current sense featuring the LT8611. The LT8611 is a compact, high efficiency, high speed synchronous monolithic step-down switching regulator that consumes only 2.5μA of quiescent current when the output is regulated at 3.3V. The demo board has an input voltage range from 3.8V to 42V and provides an output of 3.3V @ 2.5A. The current limit can be moved to the input side for application where input supply current is limited, such as energy harvesting application. ICTRL and IMON on the board set and monitor the regulated current respectively.

LTC3860EUH Demo Board I VIN Range: 6V to 14V, 1.2V/50A and 1.5V/50A VOUT

Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit DC1755A provides the user with two high current dual phase synchronous buck converters driven by the LTC3860. These buck converters provide outputs of 1.5V/50A and 1.2V/50A over an input voltage range of 6V to 14V and a switching frequency of 500kHz. The board can be easily modified for a 4-phase, single VO, 100A supply. The power stage for each phase consists of the tri-state PWM compatible 6mm × 6mm Fairchild DrMOS module and a 0.47μH 13.2mm × 12.8mm iron powder type inductor from Würth. A high density, two sided drop-in layout is used. The entire converter, excluding the bulk output and input capacitors, fits within a 2.25” × 1.38” area on the board.
