Demonstration circuits 1024A-A and 1024A-B are Micropower Low Noise Boost Converters With Output Disconnect featuring the LT3494 and LT3494A respectively. The demo circuits demonstrate small size and low component count in Boost configuration. Both demo versions are designed to convert a 3V-4.2V source to 15V. The only difference is in the load capability. The 1024A–A supplies 17mA at 3VIN while the 1024A–B supplies 27mA, also at 3VIN. The LT3494 features integrated Schottky diode, output disconnect function, dimming control, output sense resistor and non-audible switching frequency over the entire load range.

The LTC2928 is a four channel cascadable power supply sequencer and high accuracy supervisor. Sequencing thresholds, order and timing are con?gured with just a few external components, negating the need for PC board layout or software changes during system development. Multiple LTC2928s may be easily connected to sequence an unlimited number of power supplies.Sequence outputs control supply enable pins or N-channel pass gates. Precision input comparators with individual outputs monitor power supply voltages to 1.5% accuracy. Supervisory functions include undervoltage and overvoltage monitoring and reporting as well as ?P reset generation. RST may be forced high to complement margin testing.Application faults, whether internally or externally generated, can shutdown all controlled supplies. The type and source of faults are reported for diagnosis. Individual channel controls are available to independently exercise enable outputs and supervisory functions.A high voltage input allows the LTC2928 to be powered from voltages as high as 16.5V. The LTM4643EV has an operating input voltage range of 4V to 14V and is able to provide up to 3A out output current from each of its phases. Each output’s voltage is programmable from 0.6V to 5.5V but the demo board is configured to provide outputs of 3.3V, 2.5V, 1.5V and 1.2V. The LTM4643EV is a complete DC/DC point of load regulator in a thermally enhanced 15mm × 9mm × 5.01mm BGA package requiring only a few input and output capacitors.

It combines wide input bandwidth, high speed, and performance of 109 dB dynamic range at a 312.5 kHz output data rate. With excellent dc specifications, the converter is ideal for high speed data acquisition of ac signals where dc data is also required.Using the AD7764 eases front-end antialias filtering requirements, simplifying the design process significantly. The AD7764 offers pin-selectable decimation rates of 64?, 128?, and 256?. Other features include an integrated buffer to drive the reference, as well as a fully differential amplifier to buffer and level shift the input to the modulator.An overrange alert pin indicates when an input signal exceeds the acceptable range. The addition of internal gain and internal overrange registers makes the AD7764 a compact, highly integrated data acquisition device requiring minimal peripheral components.The AD7764 also offers a low power mode, significantly reducing power dissipation without reducing the output data rate or available input bandwidth.The differential input is sampled at up to 40 MSPS by an analog modulator. The modulator output is processed by a series of low-pass filters. The external clock frequency applied to the AD7764 determines the sample rate, filter corner frequencies, and output word rate.The AD7764 device boasts a full band, on-board FIR filter. The full stop-band attenuation of the filter is achieved at the Nyquist frequency. This feature offers increased protection from signals that lie above the Nyquist frequency being aliased back into the input signal bandwidth.The reference voltage supplied to the AD7764 determines the input range. With a 4 V reference, the analog input range is ?3.2768 V differential, biased around a common mode of 2.048 V.
