AD9162-FMCC-EBZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD9162 is a high performance, 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that supports data rates to 6 GSPS. The DAC core is based on a quad-switch architecture coupled with a 2? interpolator filter that enables an effective DAC update rate of up to 12 GSPS in some modes. The high dynamic range and bandwidth makes these DACs ideally suited for the most demanding high speed radio frequency (RF) DAC applications. In baseband mode, wide bandwidth capability combines with high dynamic range to support DOCSIS 3.1 cable infrastructure compliance from the minimum of two carriers to full maximum spectrum of 1.794 GHz. A 2? interpolator filter (FIR85) enables the AD9161/AD9162 to be configured for lower data rates and converter clocking to reduce the overall system power and ease the filtering requirements. In Mix-Mode? operation, the AD9161/AD9162 can reconstruct RF carriers in the second and third Nyquist zones up to 7.5 GHz while still maintaining exceptional dynamic range. The output current can be programmed from 8 mA to 38.76 mA. The AD9161/AD9162 data interface consists of up to eight JESD204B serializer/deserializer (SERDES) lanes that are programmable in terms of lane speed and number of lanes to enable application flexibility.A serial peripheral interface (SPI) can configure the AD9161/AD9162 and monitor the status of all registers. The AD9161/AD9162 are offered in an 165-ball, 8.0 mm ? 8.0 mm, 0.5 mm pitch, CSP_BGA package and in an 169-ball, 11 mm ? 11 mm, 0.8 mm pitch, CSP_BGA package, including a leaded ball option for the AD9162.Product Highlights High dynamic range and signal reconstruction bandwidth supports RF signal synthesis of up to 7.5 GHz. Up to eight lanes JESD204B SERDES interface flexible in terms of number of lanes and lane speed. Bandwidth and dynamic range to meet DOCSIS 3.1 compliance with margin.Applications Broadband communications systems DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem termination system (CMTS)/video on demand (VOD)/edge quadrature amplitude modulation (EQAM) Wireless communications infrastructure W-CDMA, LTE, LTE-A, point to point Instrumentation, automatic test equipment (ATE) Radars and jammers

The AD7792/AD7793?are low power, low noise, complete analog front ends for high precision measurement applications. The AD7792/AD7793 contain a low noise 16-/24-bit ?-? ADC with three differential analog inputs. The on-chip, low noise instrumentation amplifier means that signals of small amplitude can be interfaced directly to the ADC. With a gain setting of 64, the rms noise is 40 nV when the update rate equals 4.17 Hz.The devices contain a precision low noise, low drift internal band gap reference and can accept an external differential reference. Other on-chip features include programmable excitation current sources, burnout currents, and a bias voltage generator. The bias voltage generator sets the common-mode voltage of a channel to AVDD/2.The devices can be operated with either the internal clock or an external clock. The output data rate from the parts is software-programmable and can be varied from 4.17 Hz to 470 Hz.The parts operate with a power supply from 2.7 V to 5.25 V. They consume a current of 400 ?A typical and are housed in a 16-lead TSSOP package.Applications Thermocouple measurements RTD measurements Thermistor measurements Gas analysis Industrial process control Instrumentation Portable instrumentation Blood analysis Smart transmitters Liquid/gas chromatography 6-digit DVM

The AD5172 / AD5173?are dual-channel, 256-position, one-time programmable (OTP) digital potentiometers that employ fuse link technology to achieve memory retention of resistance settings. The digital potentiometer, VR, and RDAC terms are used interchangeably. OTP is a cost-effective alternative to EEMEM for users who do not need to program the digital potentiometer setting in memory more than once. These devices perform the same electronic adjustment function as mechanical potentiometers or variable resistors but with enhanced resolution, solid-state reliability, and superior low temperature coefficient performance.TheAD5172 / AD5173 are programmed using a 2-wire, I2C-compatible digital interface. Unlimited adjustments are allowed before permanently setting the resistance value. During OTP activation, a permanent blow fuse command freezes the wiper position (analogous to placing epoxy on a mechanical trimmer).Unlike traditional OTP digital potentiometers, the AD5172 / AD5173 have a unique temporary OTP overwrite feature that allows for new adjustments even after a fuse is blown. However, the OTP setting is restored during subsequent power-up conditions. This allows users to treat these digital potentiometers as volatile potentiometers with a programmable preset.APPLICATIONS Systems calibration Electronics level setting Mechanical trimmers replacement in new designs Permanent factory PCB setting Transducer adjustment of pressure, temperature, position, chemical, and optical sensors RF amplifier biasing Gain control and offset adjustment

EVAL-AD5371EBZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD5371 contains 40 14-bit DACs in a single 80-lead LQFP or 100-ball CSP_BGA. The device provides buffered voltage outputs with a span of 4? the reference voltage. The gain and offset of each DAC can be independently trimmed to remove errors. For even greater flexibility, the device is divided into five groups of eight DACs. Three offset DACs allow the output range of the groups to be adjusted. Group 0 can be adjusted by Offset DAC 0, Group 1 can be adjusted by Offset DAC 1, and Group 2 to Group 4 can be adjusted by Offset DAC 2.The AD5371 offers guaranteed operation over a wide supply range, with VSS from ?16.5 V to ?4.5 V and VDD from 9 V to 16.5 V. The output amplifier headroom requirement is 1.4 V operating with a load current of 1 mA.The AD5371 has a high speed serial interface that is compatible with SPI, QSPI?, MICROWIRE?, and DSP interface standards and can handle clock speeds of up to 50 MHz. It also has a 100 MHz low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) serial interface. The DAC registers are updated on reception of new data. All the outputs can be updated simultaneously by taking the LDAC input low. Each channel has a programmable gain and an offset adjust register to allow removal of gain and offset errors. Each DAC output is gained and buffered on chip with respect to an external SIGGNDx input. The DAC outputs can also be switched to SIGGNDx via the CLR pin.APPLICATIONS Level setting in automatic test equipment (ATE) Variable optical attenuators (VOA) Optical switches Industrial control systems Instrumentation
