Unlike traditional Nyquist IF sampling ADCs, theAD6676 relies on a tunable band-pass ?-? ADC with a high oversampling ratio to eliminate the need for band specific IFSAW filters and gain stages, resulting in significant simplification of the wideband radio receiver architecture. On-chip quadraturedigital downconversion followed by selectable decimation filtersreduces the complex data rate to a manageable rate between 62.5 MSPS to 266.7 MSPS. The LTC1730 is a complete pulse charger for 1-cell lithium-ion batteries. When charging a depleted cell, the internal MOSFET is fully on allowing the current limited input power source to provide charge current to the battery, virtually eliminating heat generation in the charger.As the battery accepts charge and approaches the programmed voltage, the internal MOSFET begins switching off and on with the duty cycle gradually decreasing as the battery approaches a fully charged condition. A programmable timer ends the charge cycle. The end-of-charge condition is indicated at the CHRG pin when the average charge current falls to C/10. Removing the input voltage puts the LTC1730 into a sleep mode, dropping the battery current drain to less than 1?A (maximum).An external sense resistor limits the maximum charge current as a safety precaution against a user connecting a wall adapter with the incorrect or no current limit. The internal MOSFET prevents reverse battery current from flowing if the input voltage is shorted to ground, eliminating the need for a blocking diode.The LTC1730-4 is available in the 16-pin SSOP package and the LTC1730-4.2 is available in the 8-pin SO package.Applications Standalone Lithium-Ion Battery Charger Handheld Computers Cellular Telephones

The LTC3412A is a high efficiency monolithic synchronous, step-down DC/DC converter utilizing a constant frequency, current mode architecture. It operates from an input voltage range of 2.25V to 5.5V and provides a regulated output voltage from 0.8V to 5V while delivering up to 3A of output current. The internal synchronous power switch with 77m? on-resistance increases efficiency and eliminates the need for an external Schottky diode. Switching frequency is set by an external resistor or can be synchronized to an external clock. 100% duty cycle provides low dropout operation extending battery life in portable systems. OPTI-LOOP? compensation allows the transient response to be optimized over a wide range of loads and output capacitors. The LTC3412A can be configured for either Burst Mode operation or forced continuous operation. Forced continuous operation reduces noise and RF interference while Burst Mode operation provides high efficiency by reducing gate charge losses at light loads. The ADN4624 is a quad-channel, signal isolated, low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) buffer that operates at up to 2.5 Gbps with very low jitter. The device integrates Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler? technology, enhanced for high speed operation to provide drop-in galvanic isolation of LVDS signal chains. AC coupling and/or level shifting to the LVDS receivers and from the LVDS drivers allows isolation of other high speed signals such as current mode logic (CML).The ADN4624 includes a refresh mechanism to monitor the input and output states and ensure they remain the same in the absence of data transitions (for example, at power-on).For lower power consumption and high speed operation with low jitter, the LVDS and isolator circuits rely on 1.8 V supplies. Demonstration circuit 2786A is a single output high voltage non-isolated synchronous step-down converter that drives an all N-channel MOSFET power stage. It features the LTC7800, a low quiescent current high frequency (programmable fixed frequency from 320kHz up to 2.25MHz) synchronous step-down DC/DC controller housed in a small 3mm x 4mm QFN package. This DC2786A operates over an input voltage range from 8V to 40V, while the LTC7800 can operate up to 60V. This demo board produces a 3.3V output voltage with up to 10A output current, and is configured with a sense resistor for current sensing. A mode selector allows the DC2786A to operate in forced continuous operation, pulse-skipping or Burst Mode® operation during light loads. The LTC7800 features two integrated 5V gate drivers with 20ns deadtime which is good for GaN transistors or logic-level MOSFETs to maximize efficiency. The EXTVCC pin permits the LTC7800 to be powered from the output of the switching regulator or other available source, reducing power dissipation and improving efficiency. Demonstration circuit 1852A is a combined step-up and step-down DC/DC converter, using the LTC3536 monolithic synchronous buck-boost regulator in the MSOP package. The DC1852A has wide input voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V and is capable of delivering up to 1A of output current. The output voltage of the DC1852A can be set as low as 1.8V and can go as high as 5.5V. DC1852A supports two operation modes: fixed-frequency pulse-width modulation (PWM) and Burst Mode® operation.
