The ADV7180 automatically detects and converts standard analog baseband television signals compatible with worldwide NTSC, PAL, and SECAM standards into 4:2:2 component video data compatible with the 8-bit ITU-R BT.656 interface standard.The simple digital output interface connects gluelessly to a wide range of MPEG encoders, codecs, mobile video processors, and Analog Devices, Inc., digital video encoders, such as the ADV7391. External HS, VS, and FIELD signals provide timing references for LCD controllers and other video ASICs, if required. Accurate 10-bit analog-to-digital conversion provides professional quality video performance for consumer applications with true 8-bit data resolution. Three analog video input channels accept standard composite, S-video, or component video signals, supporting a wide range of consumer video sources. AGC and clamp-restore circuitry allow an input video signal peak-to-peak range to 1.0 V. Alternatively, these can be bypassed for manual settings.The line-locked clock output allows the output data rate, timing signals, and output clock signals to be synchronous, asynchronous, or line locked even with ?5% line length variation. Output control signals allow glueless interface connections in many applications. The ADV7180 is programmed via a 2-wire, serial bidirectional port (I2C? compatible) and is fabricated in a 1.8 V CMOS process. Its monolithic CMOS construction ensures greater functionality with lower power dissipation. LFCSP package options makes the decoder ideal for space-constrained portable applications. The MIPI® CSI-2 output of the consists of one differential data lane (D0+ and D0-) and one differential clock lane (Clk+ and Clk-). These are output to the SMA connectors on the EVAL-ADV7281MEBZ.

The LTC3875 is a dual output current mode synchronous step-down DC/DC controller that drives all N-channel power MOSFET stages. It employs a unique architecture that enhances the signal-to-noise ratio of the current sense signal, allowing the use of very low DC resistance (DCR) power inductors to maximize efficiency in high current applications. This feature also reduces the switching jitter commonly found in low DCR applications with current mode control.The LTC3875 features two high speed differential amplifiers which can be used to compensate for the voltage drop from the LTC3875 to the load. Its DCR temperature compensated adjustable over current trip points from 10mV to 30mV limits the maximum output current precisely over temperature.A unique thermal balancing function adjusts per phase current to minimize the thermal stress for multichip single output applications. The PG pin is used for power good indication.The LT8709?s switching frequency range can be set between 100kHz and 750kHz. The LT4363 surge stopper protects loads from high voltage transients. It regulates the output during an overvoltage event, such as load dump in vehicles, by controlling the gate of an external N-channel MOSFET. The output is limited to a safe value allowing the loads to continue functioning. The LT4363 also monitors the voltage drop between the SNS and OUT pins to protect against overcurrent faults. An internal amplifier limits the voltage across the current sense resistor to 50mV. In either fault condition, a timer is started inversely proportional to MOSFET stress. Before the timer expires, the FLT pin pulls low to warn of an impending power down. If the condition persists, the MOSFET is turned off. The LT4363-1 remains off until reset whereas the LT4363-2 restarts after a cool down period.Two precision comparators can monitor the input supply for overvoltage (OV) and undervoltage (UV) conditions. When the potential is below the UV threshold, the external MOSFET is kept off. If the input supply voltage is above the OV threshold, the MOSFET is not allowed to turn back on. Back-to-back MOSFETs can be used in lieu of a Schottky diode for reverse input protection, reducing voltage drop and power loss. The LTC3331 integrates a high voltage energy harvesting power supply plus a buck-boost DC/DC powered from a rechargeable battery to create a single output supply for alternative energy applications. A 10mA shunt allows simple charging of the battery with harvested energy while a low battery disconnect function protects the battery from deep discharge. The energy harvesting power supply, consisting of an integrated full-wave bridge rectifier and a high voltage buck DC/DC, harvests energy from piezoelectric, solar, or magnetic sources. Either DC/DC converter can deliver energy to a single output. The buck operates when harvested energy is available, reducing the quiescent current draw on the battery to the 200nA required by the shunt charger, thereby extending the life of the battery. The buck-boost powers VOUT only when harvested energy is unavailable.A supercapacitor balancer is also integrated, allowing for increased output storage. Voltage and current settings for both inputs and outputs are programmable via pin-strapped logic inputs. Demonstration circuit 2157A features the LTM4630EY-1, the high efficiency, high density, dual 18A, switch mode step-down power module regulator with ±0.8% total DC output accuracy. The input voltage is from 4.5V to 15V. The output voltage is programmable from 0.6V to 1.8V. DC2157A can deliver up to 18A maximum in each channel. With the help of external compensation, ±3% transient accuracy can be achieved with 25% load step. As explained in the data sheet, output current derating is necessary for certain VIN, VOUT, and thermal conditions. The board operates in continuous conduction mode in heavy load conditions. For high efficiency at low load currents, the MODE jumper (JP1) selects pulse-skipping mode for noise sensitive applications or Burst Mode® operation in less noise sensitive applications. Two outputs can be connected in parallel for a single 36A output solution with optional jumper resistors.
