EVAL-AD5172SDZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD5172 / AD5173?are dual-channel, 256-position, one-time programmable (OTP) digital potentiometers that employ fuse link technology to achieve memory retention of resistance settings. The digital potentiometer, VR, and RDAC terms are used interchangeably. OTP is a cost-effective alternative to EEMEM for users who do not need to program the digital potentiometer setting in memory more than once. These devices perform the same electronic adjustment function as mechanical potentiometers or variable resistors but with enhanced resolution, solid-state reliability, and superior low temperature coefficient performance.TheAD5172 / AD5173 are programmed using a 2-wire, I2C-compatible digital interface. Unlimited adjustments are allowed before permanently setting the resistance value. During OTP activation, a permanent blow fuse command freezes the wiper position (analogous to placing epoxy on a mechanical trimmer).Unlike traditional OTP digital potentiometers, the AD5172 / AD5173 have a unique temporary OTP overwrite feature that allows for new adjustments even after a fuse is blown. However, the OTP setting is restored during subsequent power-up conditions. This allows users to treat these digital potentiometers as volatile potentiometers with a programmable preset.APPLICATIONS Systems calibration Electronics level setting Mechanical trimmers replacement in new designs Permanent factory PCB setting Transducer adjustment of pressure, temperature, position, chemical, and optical sensors RF amplifier biasing Gain control and offset adjustment

LTC3860EUH Demo Board I VIN Range: 6V to 14V, 1.2V/50A and 1.5V/50A VOUT
Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit DC1755A provides the user with two high current dual phase synchronous buck converters driven by the LTC3860. These buck converters provide outputs of 1.5V/50A and 1.2V/50A over an input voltage range of 6V to 14V and a switching frequency of 500kHz. The board can be easily modified for a 4-phase, single VO, 100A supply. The power stage for each phase consists of the tri-state PWM compatible 6mm × 6mm Fairchild DrMOS module and a 0.47μH 13.2mm × 12.8mm iron powder type inductor from Würth. A high density, two sided drop-in layout is used. The entire converter, excluding the bulk output and input capacitors, fits within a 2.25” × 1.38” area on the board.

The LTC2377-16 is a low noise, low power, high speed 16-bit successive approximation register (SAR) ADC. Operating from a 2.5V supply, the LTC2377-16 has a ?VREF fully differential input range with VREF ranging from 2.5V to 5.1V. The LTC2377-16 consumes only 6.8mW and achieves ?0.5LSB INL maximum, no missing codes at 16 bits with 97dB SNR.The LTC2377-16 has a high speed SPI-compatible serial interface that supports 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 5V logic while also featuring a daisy-chain mode. The fast 500ksps throughput with no cycle latency makes the LTC2377-16 ideally suited for a wide variety of high speed applications. An internal oscillator sets the conversion time, easing external timing considerations. The LTC2377-16 automatically powers down between conversions, leading to reduced power dissipation that scales with the sampling rate. The LTC2377-16 features a unique digital gain compression (DGC) function, which eliminates the driver amplifier?s negative supply while preserving the full resolution of the ADC. When enabled, the ADC performs a digital scaling function that maps zero-scale code from 0V to 0.1 ? VREF and full-scale code from VREF to 0.9 ? VREF. For a typical reference voltage of 5V, the full-scale input range is now 0.5V to 4.5V, which provides adequate headroom for powering the driving amplifier from a single 5.5V supply.Applications Medical Imaging High Speed Data Acquisition Portable or Compact Instrumentation Industrial Process Control Low Power Battery-Operated Instrumentation ATE

LTC2376-16 with LTC6655-5/LT6350 Demo Board | 16-Bit, 250ksps, SAR ADC with 97dB SNR. Requires DC718 or DC2026
Analog Devices Inc.
The LTC2380/LTC2379/LTC2378/LTC2377/LTC2376 are low power, low noise ADCs with serial outputs that can operate from a single 2.5V supply. The demo manual refers to the LTC2379-18 but applies to all parts in the family, the only difference being the maximum sample rates and the number of bits. The LTC2379-18 supports a ±5V fully differential input range with a 101dB SNR, consumes only 18mW and achieves ±2LSB INL max with no missing codes at 18-bits. The DC1783A demonstrates the DC and AC performance of the LTC2379-18 in conjunction with the DC590 QuikEval™ and DC718 PScope™ data collection boards.
