Demonstration circuits 1387A-A and A-B are Ultralow Power Boost Converters with Output Disconnect featuring the LT8410 and LT8410-1. Both versions convert a 3V-10V source. The -A version supplies 1.6mA at 3VIN and the -B supplies 0.5mA. Both versions feature a low noise variable off-time and variable peak current control scheme, integrated Schottky diode and output disconnect function, ultralow quiescent current, built-in soft-start and overvoltage protection.

The DC2733 is a demonstration system for the LTC4249, 65V Dual Electronic Circuit Breaker with Current Monitors. The LTC4249 provides dual independent 1.2A, 75mΩ circuit breakers that can function independently or work together in parallel. Each circuit breaker channel has its own enable, ready, and IMON pins. The DC2733 demo board gives access to both channels of the LTC4249, including the independent RDY and IMON outputs and the EN inputs. Resistors at the IMON pins set the circuit breaker thresholds as well as the IMON current-to-voltage gains. The IC draws power from the IN1 input.

The LTC6954 is a family of very low phase noise clock distribution parts. Each part has three outputs and each output has an individually programmable frequency divider and delay. Demonstration circuit 1614 features the LTC4012CUF, a multi-chemistry single battery charger controller with PowerPath™ control. The input supply voltage is 13.5V to 20V and is initially configured for a current limit of 10A. The charger float voltage is programmed by jumpers to support 1- to 4- series cells of both Li-Ion/Polymer and Li-iron phosphate (LiFePO4) at 4.2V/cell and 3.6V/cell, for a total of eight settings. The demo board is initially configured for constant-voltage charging of a 12.6V Li-Ion/ Polymer battery and constant-current charging at 8A, though current derating may be necessary due to certain operating conditions.

The LTM4646 is a complete dual 10A output switching mode DC/DC power supply. Included in the package are the switching controller, power FETs, inductors, and all supporting components. Operating from an input voltage range of 4.5V to 20V, the LTM4646 supports two outputs each with an output voltage range of 0.6V to 5.5V, set by external resistors. Its high efficiency design delivers up to 10A continuous current for each output. Only a few input and output capacitors are needed.The device supports frequency synchronization, multiphase operation, high efficiency light load operation and output voltage tracking for supply rail sequencing and has an on-board temperature diode per channel for device temperature monitoring. High switching frequency and a current mode architecture enable a very fast transient response to line and load changes without sacrificing stability.Fault protection features include overvoltage and overcurrent protection. The power module is offered in a small footprint 11.25mm ? 15mm ? 5.01mm BGA package. Demonstration circuit DC915 features the LT3466-1 high efficiency boost white LED driver and a step-up converter. There is one LED driver output for 6 or 8 WLEDs and a separate DC/DC converter that generates outputs for the LCD bias. VO1 drives 8 LEDs in series with 15mA LED current and VO2/VO3 can delivery ±15V at 10mA current. If the charge-pump circuitry which generates VO3 is removed (C4, C5 and D1), VO2 can deliver over 35mA of current. The input voltage range is 3V to 14V, but can go as low as 2.7V with slightly reduced output current.

The AD736 is a low power, precision, monolithic true rms-to-dc converter. It is laser trimmed to provide a maximum error of ?0.3 mV ? 0.3% of reading with sine wave inputs. Furthermore, it maintains high accuracy while measuring a wide range of input waveforms, including variable duty-cycle pulses and triac (phase)-controlled sine waves. The low cost and small size of this converter make it suitable for upgrading the performance of non-rms precision rectifiers in many applications. Compared to these circuits, the AD736 offers higher accuracy at an equal or lower cost.The AD736 can compute the rms value of both ac and dc input voltages. It can also be operated as an ac-coupled device by adding one external capacitor. In this mode, the AD736 can resolve input signal levels of 100 ?V rms or less, despite variations in temperature or supply voltage. High accuracy is also maintained for input waveforms with crest factors of 1 to 3. In addition, crest factors as high as 5 can be measured (introducing only 2.5% additional error) at the 200 mV full-scale input level.The AD736 has its own output buffer amplifier, thereby pro-viding a great deal of design flexibility. Requiring only 200 ?A of power supply current, the AD736 is optimized for use in portable multimeters and other battery-powered applications.The AD736 allows the choice of two signal input terminals: a high impedance FET input (1012 ?) that directly interfaces with High-Z input attenuators and a low impedance input (8 k?) that allows the measurement of 300 mV input levels while operating from the minimum power supply voltage of +2.8 V, ?3.2 V. The two inputs can be used either single ended or differentially.The AD736 has a 1% reading error bandwidth that exceeds 10 kHz for the input amplitudes from 20 mV rms to 200 mV rms while consuming only 1 mW.The AD736 is available in four performance grades. The AD736J and AD736K grades are rated over the 0?C to +70?C and ?20?C to +85?C commercial temperature ranges. The AD736A and AD736B grades are rated over the ?40?C to +85?C industrial temperature range. The AD736 is available in three low cost, 8-lead packages: PDIP, SOIC, and CERDIP.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS The AD736 is capable of computing the average rectified value, absolute value, or true rms value of various input signals. Only one external component, an averaging capacitor, is required for the AD736 to perform true rms measurement. The low power consumption of 1 mW makes the AD736 suitable for many battery-powered applications. A high input impedance of 1012 ? eliminates the need for an external buffer when interfacing with input attenuators. A low impedance input is available for those applications that require an input signal up to 300 mV rms operating from low power supply voltages.
