Demonstration circuit 806A features the LTC1867 Octal 16-bit ADC. The LTC1867 can be software programmed for a unipolar 0V to 4.096V or bipolar ±2.048V input range. The 8 channel multiplexer can be programmed for 8 single-ended inputs with respect to ground, 7 single-ended inputs with respect to the COM/CH7 pin, 4 differential inputs, or any combination of these.

The AD5233 is a quad-channel nonvolatile memory,1 digitally controlled potentiometer2 with a 64-step resolution. The device performs the same electronic adjustment function as a mechanical potentiometer with enhanced resolution, solid-state reliability, and remote controllability. The AD5233 has versatile programming using a serial peripheral interface (SPI) for 16 modes of operation and adjustment, including scratchpad programming, memory storing and restoring, increment/decrement, ?6 dB/step log taper adjustment, wiper setting readback, and extra EEMEM for user-defined information such as memory data for other components, look-up tables, or system identification information.In the scratchpad programming mode, a specific setting can be programmed directly to the RDAC register, which sets the resistance between Terminal W to Terminal A and Terminal W to Terminal B. This setting can be stored into the EEMEM and is transferred automatically to the RDAC register during system power-on.The EEMEM content can be restored dynamically or through external PR strobing. A WP function protects EEMEM contents. To simplify the programming, independent or simultaneous increment or decrement commands can be used to move the RDAC wiper up or down, one step at a time. For logarithmic ?6 dB step changes in wiper settings, the left or right bit shift command can be used to double or halve the RDAC wiper setting.The AD5233 is available in a thin 24-lead TSSOP package. The ADPD4200 operates as a complete multimodal sensor front end, stimulating up to four light emitting diodes (LEDs) and measuring the return signal on up to four separate current inputs. Twelve time slots are available, enabling 12 separate measurements per sampling period.The data output and functional configuration utilize a serial port interface (SPI) on the ADPD4200. The control circuitry includes flexible LED signaling and synchronous detection. The device uses a 1.8 V analog core and 1.8 V or 3.3 V compatible digital input/output (I/O).The analog front end (AFE) rejects signal offsets and corruption from asynchronous modulated interference, typically from ambient light, eliminating the need for optical filters or externally controlled dc cancellation circuitry. Demonstration circuit 761 is a low noise regulated charge pump featuring the LTC3204 (Burst Mode operation) in the 2 × 2 DFN package. There are two assembly versions, DC761A-A and DC761A-B for the LTC3204-5 (5V output) and LTC3204-3.3 (3.3V output) respectively. The DC761A-B produces a regulated 3.3V output from a 1.8V to 4.5V input. The guaranteed output current is 50mA from VIN between 1.9V and 4.5V, and 40mA for VIN less than 1.9V. The circuit requires only three tiny 0603 surface mount capacitors and uses minimal board space. No inductor or diodes are needed. The circuit features automatic Burst Mode® operation at light loads to maintain low supply current.
