Demonstration circuit 2397A features the LTC3130-1, a wide input voltage, wide output voltage operating range, high efficiency, low noise monolithic DC/DC buck-boost converter that provides 600mA of output current when in buck mode. The LTC3130-1 has 4-pin selectable output voltages (1.8V, 3.3V, 5V and 12V) and operates from input voltages of 2.4V to 25V. The LTC3130-1 incorporates a proprietary low noise switching algorithm which optimizes efficiency with input voltages above, below, or equal to the output voltage and ensures seamless transitions between operating modes.

Demonstration circuit 2365A highlights the LTC2358 family of buffered input ADCs. The LTC2358/LTC2357/LTC2353/LTC2333 are low noise, high speed, 16-/18-bit successive approximation register (SAR) ADCs with integrated front end buffers. These ADCs accept a wide common mode range. Pico-amp inputs and high CMRR enable these ADCs to connect directly to a wide range of sensors without compromising measurement accuracy. The demo manual refers to the LTC2358-18 but applies to all parts in the family, the only differences being the number of bits, number of channels and the maximum sample rate. The LTC2358-18 has a flexible SoftSpan™ interface that allows conversion-by-conversion control of the input voltage span on a per-channel basis. An internal 2.048V reference and 2X buffer simplify basic operation while an external reference can be used to increase the input range and the SNR of the ADC.

The LTC3803 is a constant frequency current mode flyback controller optimized for driving N-channel MOSFETs in high input voltage applications. Constant frequency operation is maintained down to very light loads, resulting in less low frequency noise generation over a wide range of load currents. Slope compensation can be programmed with an external resistor.The LTC3803 provides ?1.5% output voltage accuracy and consumes only 240?A of quiescent current. Ground-referenced current sensing allows LTC3803-based converters to accept input supplies beyond the LTC3803?s absolute maximum VCC. A micropower hysteretic start-up feature allows efficient operation at high input voltages. For simplicity, the LTC3803 can also be powered from a high VIN through a resistor, due to its internal shunt regulator. An internal undervoltage lockout shuts down the LTC3803 when the input voltage is too low to provide sufficient gate drive to the external MOSFET.The LTC3803 is available in a low profile (1mm) 6-lead SOT-23 (ThinSOT?) package. Demonstration circuit 1855A is a dual, micropower, low noise and low dropout voltage linear regulator featuring the LT3030. The input voltages are independent for each channel of DC1855A and can range from 2.2V to 20V. Each channel has a jumper that sets the output voltage to either 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, 5V or a voltage that is user-programmed by the installation of a resistor. For channel 1 and channel 2, the maximum output currents are 750mA and 250mA and the ceramic output capacitors are 22μF and 10μF respectively. The internal reference of each channel is bypassed with a 10nF capacitor for reduced output noise. Each channel has a jumper for shutdown and a terminal for PWRGD that is pulled up to the input supply. A resistor divider can be easily added that allows precise lockout at low input voltages.

The LT1993-2 is a low distortion, low noise Differential Ampli?er/ADC driver for use in applications from DC to 800MHz. The LT1993-2 has been designed for ease of use, with minimal support circuitry required. Exceptionally low input-referred noise and low distortion products (with either single-ended or differential inputs) make the LT1993-2 an excellent solution for driving high speed 12-bit and 14-bit ADCs. The AD9576 provides a multiple output clock generator function comprising two dedicated phase-locked loop (PLL) cores with flexible frequency translation capability, optimized to serve as a robust source of asynchronous clocks for an entire system, providing extended operating life within frequency tolerance through monitoring of and automatic switchover between redundant crystal (XTAL) inputs with minimized switching, induced transients.
