LTC2943 Demo Board | 20VIN, 0.5A Battery Gas Gauge w/ Ext RSENSE (requires DC2026)
Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 1812A (Figure 1) features the LTC2943. The LTC2943 has an operating range of 3.6V to 20V making it perfectly suited for multicell battery applications. A precision analog coulomb counter integrates current measured through a sense resistor between the battery’s positive terminal and the load or charger. The default value assembled on the DC1812A-A is 100mΩ for a maximum current measurement of 500mA. The LTC2943 measures voltage, current and temperature with an internal 14-bit No Latency ΔΣ™ ADC. The measurements are stored in internal registers accessible via the onboard SMBus/I2C interface.

The LT3798 is a constant-voltage/constant-current isolated flyback controller that combines active power factor correction (PFC) with no opto-coupler required for output voltage feedback into a single-stage converter. A LT3798 based design can achieve a power factor of greater than 0.97 by actively modulating the input current, allowing compliance with most Harmonic Current Emission requirements. The LT3798 is well suited for a wide variety of off-line applications. The input range can be scaled up or down, depending mainly on the choice of external components. Efficiencies higher than 86% can be achieved with output power levels up to 100W. In addition, the LT3798 can easily be designed into high DC input applications.Applications Offline 5W to 100W+ Applications High DC VIN Isolated Applications Offline Bus Converter (12V, 24V or 48V Outputs)

LTC7880 Demo Board | High Voltage Dual Step-up DC/DC Converter with Digital Power System Management
Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 2728A is a high voltage, dual output boost converter with 12V to 24V input range. The output voltage is adjustable from VIN to 48V. Each output can supply 5A maximum load current. The demo board has a LTC7880 controller, which is a 60V dual output step-up controller with digital power system management. Please see LTC7880 data sheet for more detailed information.
DC2728A powers up to default settings and produces power based on configuration resistors or its nonvolatile memory (NVM) without the need for any serial bus communication. This allows easy evaluation of the DC/DC converter. To fully explore the extensive power system management features of the part, download the GUI software LTpowerPlay® onto your PC and use ADI’s I2C/SMBus/PMBus dongle DC1613A to connect to the board. LTpowerPlay allows the user to reconfigure the part on-the-fly and store the configuration in EEPROM, view telemetry of voltage, current, temperature and fault status.

LTC4249 | 65V Dual Electronic Circuit Breaker with Current Monitors
Analog Devices Inc.
The DC2733 is a demonstration system for the LTC4249, 65V Dual Electronic Circuit Breaker with Current Monitors. The LTC4249 provides dual independent 1.2A, 75mΩ circuit breakers that can function independently or work together in parallel. Each circuit breaker channel has its own enable, ready, and IMON pins.
The DC2733 demo board gives access to both channels of the LTC4249, including the independent RDY and IMON outputs and the EN inputs. Resistors at the IMON pins set the circuit breaker thresholds as well as the IMON current-to-voltage gains. The IC draws power from the IN1 input.

The LTC7815 is a high performance triple output (buck/buck/boost) synchronous DC/DC switching regulator controller that drives all N-channel power MOSFET stages. Constant frequency current mode architecture allows a phase-lockable switching frequency of up to 2.25MHz. The LTC7815 operates from a wide 4.5V to 38V input supply range. When biased from the output of the boost converter or another auxiliary supply, the LTC7815 can operate from an input supply as low as 2.5V after start-up.The 28?A no-load quiescent current extends operating runtime in battery powered systems. OPTI-LOOP compensation allows the transient response to be optimized over a wide range of output capacitance and ESR values. The LTC7815 features a precision 0.8V reference for the bucks, 1.2V reference for the boost and a power good output indicator. The PLLIN/MODE pin selects among Burst Mode operation, pulse-skipping mode, or continuous inductor current mode at light loads.Applications Automotive Always-On and Start-Stop Systems Battery Operated Digital Devices Distributed DC Power Systems Multioutput Buck-Boost Applications
