The ADMV1012 is a compact, gallium arsenide (GaAs) design, monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) double sideband (DSB) downconverter in a RoHS compliant package optimized for point to point microwave radio designs that operate in the 17.5 GHz to 24 GHz input frequency range. The ADMV1012 provides 15 dB of conversion gain with 25 dB of image rejection, and 2.5 dB noise figure. The ADMV1012 uses a radio frequency (RF) low noise amplifier (LNA) followed by an in phase/quadrature (I/Q), double balanced mixer, where a driver amplifier drives the local oscillator (LO) with a ?2 multiplier. IF1 and IF2 mixer quadrature outputs are provided, and an external 90? hybrid is required to select the required sideband.The I/Q mixer topology reduces the need for filtering of unwanted sideband. The ADMV1012 is a much smaller alternative to hybrid style DSB downconverter assemblies and eliminates the need for wire bonding by allowing the use of surface-mount manufacturing assemblies.The ADMV1012 downconverter comes in a compact, thermally enhanced, 4.9 mm ? 4.9 mm, 32-terminal LCC. Demonstration Circuit 1598A is a fixed frequency synchronous buck-boost converter with an extended input and output range. The unique 4-switch, single inductor architecture provides low noise and seamless operation from input voltages above, below, or equal to the output voltage. The LTC3112 features selectable PWM or Burst Mode operation, and an easily synchronizable oscillator. An output current monitor allows the load current to be controlled or monitored. The LTC3112 operates with a 2.7V to 15V input voltage range and a VOUT range from 2.5V to 14V. The demonstration board has been designed to operate with VIN from 2.7V to 15V and an output current up to 2.5A. For VIN < 5V, IOUT capability is reduced. VOUT is set to 5.0V.

The ADP1882?/ ADP1883 are versatile current-mode, synchronous step-down controllers that provide superior transient response, optimal stability, and current-limit protection by using a constant on-time, pseudo-fixed frequency with a programmable current-limit, current-control scheme. In addition, these devices offer optimum performance at low duty cycles by using valley current-mode control architecture. This allows the ADP1882 / ADP1883 to drive all N-channel power stages to regulate output voltages as low as 0.8 V.The ADP1883 is the power saving mode (PSM) version of the device and is capable of pulse skipping to maintain output regulation while achieving improved system efficiency at light loads (see the Power Saving Mode (PSM) Version (ADP1883) section for more information).Available in three frequency options (300 kHz, 600 kHz, and 1.0 MHz, plus the PSM option), the ADP1882/ADP1883 are well suited for a wide range of applications. These ICs not only operate from a 2.75 V to 5.5 V bias supply, but they also can accept a power input as high as 20 V.In addition, an internally fixed soft start period is included to limit input in-rush current from the input supply during startup and to provide reverse current protection during soft start for a pre-charged output. The low-side current-sense, current-gain scheme and integration of a boost diode, along with the PSM/forced pulse-width modulation (PWM) option, reduce the external part count and improve efficiency.The ADP1882 / ADP1883 operate over the -40?C to +125?C junction temperature range and are available in a 10-lead MSOP.

Demonstration circuit DC3016A is a buck-boost power supply featuring the LTM4693, ultrathin, highly efficient, 2A buck-boost μModule® regulator. The LTM4693 regulates an output voltage above, below, or equal to the input voltage. This demonstration circuit is designed to have an input voltage from 2.6V to 5.5V with selectable 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V output voltage up to 2A load. Derating may be necessary for specific VIN, VOUT, and thermal conditions. This demo board includes a mode selector that allows the converter to run in CCM or Burst Mode® operation. Synchronization to an external clock is also possible. The switching frequency can be adjusted from 1MHz to 4MHz by a resistor. And the soft-start period is programmable by an external capacitor. The LTM4693 data sheet gives a complete description of these functions, operation, and application information. The data sheet must be read in conjunction with this quick start guide for demo circuit 3016A.

The AD4030-24 is a 2 MSPS successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with Easy Drive?. With a guaranteed maximum ?0.9 ppm integral nonlinearity (INL) and no missing codes at 24-bits, the AD4030-24 achieves unparalleled precision from ?40?C to +125?C. Figure 1 in the data sheet shows the functional architecture of the AD4030-24.A low-drift, internal precision reference buffer eases voltage reference sharing with other system circuitry. The AD4030-24 offers a typical dynamic range of 109 dB when using a 5 V reference. The low noise floor enables signal chains requiring less gain and lower power. A block averaging filter with programmable decimation ratio can increase dynamic range up to 155.5 dB. The wide differential input and common mode ranges allow inputs to use the full ?VREF range without saturating, simplifying signal conditioning requirements and system calibration. The improved settling of the Easy Drive analog inputs broadens the selection of analog front-end components compatible with the AD4030-24. Both single-ended and differential signals are supported.The versatile Flexi-SPI serial peripheral interface (SPI) eases host processor and ADC integration. A wide data clocking window, multiple SDO lanes, and optional DDR data clocking can reduce the serial clock to 10 MHz while operating at a sample rate of 2 MSPS. Demonstration Circuit 767 is an I2C-controlled high efficiency synchronous current mode buck regulator featuring the 600mA output LTC3447. The demo board input voltage range is 2.5V to 5.5V. The buck regulator has a programmable output range of 0.7V to 2.00V which is set with an internal 6-bit DAC via the I2C interface. The initial start-up voltage is set to 1.35V but can be change by changing feedback resistors R4 and R5.
