The HMC833LP6GE is a low noise, wide band, Fractional-N Phase-Locked-Loop (PLL) that features an integrated Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) with a fundamental frequency of 1500 MHz - 3000 MHz, and an integrated VCO Output Divider (divide by 1/2/4/6.../60/62) and doubler, that together allow the HMC833LP6GE to generate frequencies from 25 MHz to 6000 MHz. The integrated Phase Detector (PD) and delta-sigma modulator, capable of operating at up to 100 MHz, permit wider loop-bandwidths with excellent spectral performance.The HMC833LP6GE features industry leading phase noise and spurious performance, across all frequencies, that enable it to minimize blocker effects, and improve receiver sensitivity and transmitter spectral purity. The LTC7860 high efficiency surge stopper protects loads from high voltage transients. High efficiency permits higher currents and smaller solution sizes. During an input overvoltage event, such as a load dump in vehicles, the LTC7860 controls the gate of an external MOSFET to act as a switching DC/DC regulator (PROTECTIVE PWM mode). This operation regulates the output voltage to a safe level, allowing the loads to operate through the input over-voltage event. During normal operation (SWITCH-ON mode), the LTC7860 turns on the external MOSFET continuously, passing the input voltage through to the output. An internal comparator limits the voltage across the current sense resistor and regulates the maximum output current to protect against overcurrent faults.An adjustable timer limits the time that the LTC7860 can spend in overvoltage or overcurrent regulation. When the timer expires, the external MOSFET is turned off until the LTC7860 restarts after a cool down period. By strictly limiting the time in PROTECTIVE PWM Mode when the power loss is high, the components and thermal design can be optimized for normal operation and safely operate through high voltage input surges and/or overcurrent faults. LTM4622 Demo Board | Ultrathin Dual 2.5A Step-Down µModule Regulator

Demonstration circuit 2249B features the LTM4622 µModule® regulator, a tiny low profile high performance high efficiency dual step-down regulator. The LTM4622 has an operating input voltage range of 3.6V to 20V and is able to provide an output current of up to 2.5A for each channel. Each output’s voltage is programmable from 0.6V to 5.5V. The LTM4622 is a complete DC-DC point of load regulator in a low profile thermally enhanced 6.25mm × 6.25mm × 1.82mm LGA package requiring only a few input and output capacitors. Output voltage tracking is available through the TRACK/SS pin for supply rail sequencing. External clock synchronization is available through the SYNC/MODE pin. For high efficiency at low load currents the MODE pin jumper (JP3) selects the Burst Mode® option for operation in less noise sensitive applications. The LTM4622 data sheet must be read in conjunction with this demo manual for working on or modifying demo circuit 2249B.

The LTC2933 is an EEPROM configurable voltage supervisor which can simultaneously monitor up to six power supply voltage inputs. Each voltage detector offers I2C programmable over/undervoltage thresholds in various ranges and increments.Two general purpose inputs (GPI) can be configured as programmable manual reset (MR), UV disable (UVDIS), margin (MARG) or auxiliary comparator (AUXC) inputs. Three general purpose pins (GPIO) can be configured for input or output operation. When configured as an input, a GPIO pin can be mapped to any other GPIO configured as output. The GPIO pins can also be configured as ALERT or fault outputs. Faults can be configured with programmable delay-on-release times. Output type and polarity are also configurable.Status and history registers log faults and can be polled via the I2C interface. A fault log snapshot is also backed up in internal EEPROM. All parameters are programmable via the I2C interface.
