The LTC2380/LTC2379/LTC2378/LTC2377/LTC2376 are low power, low noise ADCs with serial outputs that can operate from a single 2.5V supply. The demo manual refers to the LTC2379-18 but applies to all parts in the family, the only difference being the maximum sample rates and the number of bits. The LTC2379-18 supports a ±5V fully differential input range with a 101dB SNR, consumes only 18mW and achieves ±2LSB INL max with no missing codes at 18-bits. The DC1783A demonstrates the DC and AC performance of the LTC2379-18 in conjunction with the DC590 QuikEval™ and DC718 PScope™ data collection boards.

The LTC2377-16 is a low noise, low power, high speed 16-bit successive approximation register (SAR) ADC. Operating from a 2.5V supply, the LTC2377-16 has a ?VREF fully differential input range with VREF ranging from 2.5V to 5.1V. The LTC2377-16 consumes only 6.8mW and achieves ?0.5LSB INL maximum, no missing codes at 16 bits with 97dB SNR.The LTC2377-16 has a high speed SPI-compatible serial interface that supports 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 5V logic while also featuring a daisy-chain mode. The fast 500ksps throughput with no cycle latency makes the LTC2377-16 ideally suited for a wide variety of high speed applications. An internal oscillator sets the conversion time, easing external timing considerations. The LTC2377-16 automatically powers down between conversions, leading to reduced power dissipation that scales with the sampling rate.The LTC2377-16 features a unique digital gain compression (DGC) function, which eliminates the driver amplifier?s negative supply while preserving the full resolution of the ADC. When enabled, the ADC performs a digital scaling function that maps zero-scale code from 0V to 0.1 ? VREF and full-scale code from VREF to 0.9 ? VREF. Demonstration circuit DC1499A is a high efficiency step-down DC/DC converter featuring LTC3631 with internal high side and synchronous power switches that draws only 12μA quiescent current. LTC3631 can supply up to 100mA load current with a programmable peak current limit that provides a simple method for optimizing efficiency in lower current applications. The LTC3110 is a 2A bidirectional buck-boost DC/DC regulator with capacitor charger and balancer. Its wide 0.1V to 5.5V capacitor/battery voltage and 1.8V to 5.25V system backup voltage ranges make it well suited to a wide variety of backup applications using supercapacitors or batteries. A proprietary low noise switching algorithm optimizes efficiency with capacitor/battery voltages that are above, below or equal to the system output voltage.The LTC3110 can autonomously transition from charge to backup mode or switch modes based on an external command. Demonstration circuit 2881A-A is a 2-phase dual-output, high efficiency, high density, synchronous buck converter with 7V to 14V input range. Each output can supply up to 30A maximum load current with 1V output. The demo board features the LTC3884-1 controller paired with the LTC7050 dual smart power stage to provide a 2-phase buck converter solution. The LTC3884-1 is a dual output poly phase step-down controller with digital power system management. The LTC7050 is a dual monolithic smart power stage which integrates high speed drivers with low resistance half-bridge power switches plus comprehensive monitoring and protection circuitry in an electrically and thermally optimized package. DC2881A-A powers up to default settings and produces power based on configuration resistors (or with the setting in its non-volatile memory) without the need for any serial bus communication.
