The AD91661 is a high performance, wideband, on-chip vector signal generator composed of a high speed JESD204B serializer/deserializer (SERDES) interface, a flexible 16-bit digital datapath, a inphase/quadrature (I/Q) digital-to-analog converter (DAC) core, and an integrated differential to single-ended outputbuffer amplifier, matched to a 50 ? load up to 10 GHz.The DAC core is based on a quad-switch architecture, which is configurable to increase the effective DAC core update rate of up to 12.8 GSPS from a 6.4 GHz DAC sampling clock, with an analog output bandwidth of true dc to 9.0 GHz, typically. The digital datapath includes multiple interpolation filter stages, a direct digital synthesizer (DDS) block with multiple numerically controlled oscillators (NCOs) supporting fast frequency hopping (FFH), and additional FIR85 and inverse sinc filter stages to allow flexible spectrum planning.The differential to single-ended buffer eliminates the need for a wideband balun, and supports the full analog output bandwidth of the DAC core. DC coupling the output allows baseband waveform generation without the need for external bias tees or similar circuitry, which makes the AD9166 uniquely suited for the mostdemanding high speed ultrawideband RF transmit applications. The various filter stages enable the AD9166 to be configured for lower data rates, while maintaining higher DAC clock rates to ease the filtering requirements and reduce the overall system size, weight, and power.The data interface receiver consists of up to eight JESD204B SERDES lanes, each capable of carrying up to 12.5 Gbps. To enable maximum flexibility, the receiver is fully configurable according to the data rate, number of SERDES lanes, and lane mapping required by the JESD204B transmitter.In 2? nonreturn-to-zero (NRZ) mode of operation (with FIR85 enabled), the AD9166 can reconstruct RF carriers from true dc to the edge of the third Nyquist zone, or an analog bandwidth of true dc up to 9 GHz.In mix mode, the AD9166 can reconstruct RF carriers in the second and third Nyquist zones while consuming lower power and maintaining a performance comparable to 2? NRZ mode.In baseband modes, such as return-to-zero (RZ) and 1? NRZ, the AD9166 is ideal to reconstruct RF carriers from true dc to the edge of the first Nyquist zone while consuming lower power compared to 2? NRZ mode.The quadrature DDS block can be configured as a digital upconverter to upconvert I/Q data samples to the desired location across the spectrum, in all three Nyquist zones.The DDS also consists of a bank of 32 numerically controlled oscillators (NCOs), each with its own 32-bit phase accumulator. When combined with a 100 MHz serial peripheral interface (SPI), the DDS allows a phase coherent FFH, with a phase settling time as low as 300 ns.The AD9166 is configured using a common SPI interface that monitors the status of all registers. The ADA4945-1 is a low noise, low distortion, fully differential amplifier with two selectable power modes. The device operates over a broad power supply range of 3 V to 10 V. The low dc offset, dc offset drift, and excellent dynamic performance of the ADA4945-1 makes it well suited for a variety of data acquisition and signal processing applications. The device is an ideal choice for driving high resolution, high performance successive approximation register (SAR) and ?-? analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) on 4 mA of quiescent current (full power mode). The device can also be selected to operate on 1.4 mA of quiescent current (low power mode) to scale the power consumption to the desired performance necessary for an ADC drive application. The adjustable common-mode voltage allows the ADA4945-1 to match the input common-mode voltage of multiple ADCs. The internal common-mode feedback loop provides exceptional output balance, as well as suppression of even order harmonic distortion products.With the ADA4945-1, differential gain configurations are achieved with a simple external feedback network of four resistors determining the closed-loop gain of the amplifier. The ADA4945-1 is fabricated using Analog Devices, Inc., proprietary, silicon germanium (SiGe), complementary bipolar process, enabling the device to achieve low levels of distortion with an input voltage noise of only 1.8 nV/?Hz (full power mode).The ADA4945-1 is available in a RoHS-complaint, 3 mm ? 3 mm, 16-lead LFCSP. The HMC1035LP6GE is a low-noise, wide-band 3.3 V clock generator IC with a fractional-N Phase Locked Loop (PLL) that features an integrated Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO). The device provides differential clock outputs between 25 MHz and 2500 MHz range. The HMC1035LP6GE features a low noise Phase Detector (PD) and Delta-Sigma modulator, capable of operating at up to 100 MHz which permits wider loop-bandwidths and excellent spurious performance.The HMC1035LP6GE features industry leading phase noise and jitter performance, across the operating range, that enable it to improve link level jitter performance, Bit-Error-Rates (BER) and eye diagram metrics. The superior noise floor (<-162 dBc/Hz) makes the HMC1035LP6GE an ideal source for a variety of applications?such as clock references for high speed data converters, physical layer devices (PHY), serializer/deserializer (SER DES) circuits, FPGAs and processors. The HMC1035LP6GE can also be used as an LO for 10G/40G/100G optical modules and transponders, as well as primary reference clock for 10G/40G/100G line cards, and for jitter attenuation and frequency translation.The differential output of the HMC1035LP6GE can be set to either External Termination, which could be used for LVPECL operation, or Internal Termination for operation in an LVDS compatible mode or LVPECL. Additionally, an ouput swing adjustment makes the device flexible and compatible with a wide variety of signal level requirements. The output can be internally terminated to reduce component count and cost or could be terminated externally using standard LVPECL termination methods. An Output Mute function allows the user to shut off the outputs, such as may be required for board testing or debugging. The LVPECL/LVDS, amplitude select and Output Mute function are all programmed SPI serial programming.The HMC1035LP6GE is designed to select between a Power Priority or a Performance Priority mode.
