The LTC6430-15 is a differential gain block amplifier designed to drive high resolution, high speed ADCs with excellent linearity beyond 1000MHz and with low associated output noise. The LTC6430-15 operates from a single 5V power supply and consumes only 800mW.In its differential configuration, the LTC6430-15 can directly drive the differential inputs of an ADC. Using 1:2 baluns, the device makes an excellent 50? wideband balanced amplifier. While using 1:1.33 baluns, the device makes a high fidelity 50MHz to 1000MHz 75? CATV amplifier.The LTC6430-15 is designed for ease of use, requiring a minimum of support components. The device is internally matched to 100? differential source/load impedance. On-chip bias and temperature compensation ensure consistent performance over environmental changes.The LTC6430-15 uses a high performance SiGe BiCMOS process for excellent repeatability compared with similar GaAs amplifiers. All A-grade LTC6430-15 devices are tested and guaranteed for OIP3 at 240MHz. The HMC701LP6CE is a SiGe BiCMOS fractional-N frequency synthesizer. The synthesizer includes a 8GHz 16-bit RF N-Divider, a 24-bit delta-sigma modulator, a very low noise digital phase frequency detector (PFD), and a precision controlled charge pump. In addition the synthesizer supports an external step tuned VCO.The fractional synthesizer features an advanced delta-sigma modulator design that allows ultra-fine frequency step sizes. The synthesizer features the ability to alter both the phase-frequency detector (PFD) gain and the cycle slipping characteristics of the PFD. This feature can reduce the time to arrive at the new frequency by 50% vs. conventional PFDs. Ultra low in-close phase noise also allows wider loop bandwidths for faster frequency hopping.The synthesizer contains a built-in linear sweeper function, which allows it to perform frequency chirps with a wide variety of sweep times, polarities and dwells, all with an external or automatic sweep trigger.A General Purpose Output (GPO) bus supports the use of multiple VCOs. The LT3469 is a transconductance (gm) amplifier that can drive outputs up to 33V from a 5V or 12V supply. An internal switching regulator generates a boosted supply voltage for the gm amplifier. The amplifier can drive capacitive loads in the range of 5nF to 300nF. Slew rate is limited only by the maximum output current. The 35V output voltage capability of the switching regulator, along with the high supply voltage of the amplifier, combine to allow the wide output voltage range needed to drive a piezoceramic microactuator.The LT3469 switching regulator switches at 1.3MHz, allowing the use of tiny external components.
