LTC3204EDC-5 Demo Board | Low Noise Regulated Charge Pump in 2x2 DFN, Burst Mode, VIN = 2.7V–5.5V, VOUT = 5V/(65–150mA)

Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 761 is a low noise regulated charge pump featuring the LTC3204 (Burst Mode operation) in the 2X2 DFN package. There are two assembly versions, DC761A-A and DC761A-B for the LTC3204-5 (5V output) and LTC3204-3.3 (3.3V output) respectively. The DC761A-A produces a regulated 5V output from a 2.7V to 5.5V input. The guaranteed output load current is 150mA for VIN between 3.1V and 5.5V, and 65mA for VIN less than 3.1V. The DC761A-B produces a regulated 3.3V output from a 1.8V to 4.5V input. The guaranteed output current is 50mA from VIN between 1.9V and 4.5V, and 40mA for VIN less than 1.9V. The circuit requires only three tiny 0603 surface mount capacitors and uses minimal board space. No inductor or diodes are needed. The circuit features automatic Burst Mode® operation at light loads to maintain low supply current.

The LTC3803 is a constant frequency current mode flyback controller optimized for driving N-channel MOSFETs in high input voltage applications. Constant frequency operation is maintained down to very light loads, resulting in less low frequency noise generation over a wide range of load currents. Slope compensation can be programmed with an external resistor. The LTC3803 provides ?1.5% output voltage accuracy and consumes only 240?A of quiescent current. Ground-referenced current sensing allows LTC3803-based converters to accept input supplies beyond the LTC3803?s absolute maximum VCC. A micropower hysteretic start-up feature allows efficient operation at high input voltages. For simplicity, the LTC3803 can also be powered from a high VIN through a resistor, due to its internal shunt regulator. An internal undervoltage lockout shuts down the LTC3803 when the input voltage is too low to provide sufficient gate drive to the external MOSFET.The LTC3803 is available in a low profile (1mm) 6-lead SOT-23 (ThinSOT?) package. LTC4061EDD | Single Cell Li-Ion Battery Charger, VIN = 4.3V to 8V, Batt = 4.2V @ 50mA to 1A

Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 788A is a complete constant-current, constant-voltage battery charger for one Lithium-Ion cell and featuring the LTC4061EDD. The demo board has an input voltage range of 4.3V to 8V, suitable for USB applications. Jumpers on the board allow charge currents from 50mA to 1A to be programmed and several charge termination methods to be used. Terminals are provided for adding a thermistor for sensing battery temperature, shutting down the charger, monitoring charge current and programming the minimum charge current level for termination (IDETECT). The LTC4061 features an internal P-channel power MOSFET with a unique thermal feedback loop that reduces the output current under high ambient temperature and/or high power dissipation conditions. This feature allows the charger to provide higher charge currents under normal conditions and still provide safe charging under abnormal conditions such as high ambient temperature, high input voltage or low battery voltage.

The LTC4061-4.4 is a full-featured, flexible, standalone linear charger for single-cell 4.375V Lithium-Ion batteries. It is capable of operating within USB power specifications. Both programmable time and programmable current based termination schemes are available. Furthermore, the CHRG open-drain status pin can be programmed to indicate the battery charge state according to the needs of the application. Additional safety features designed to maximize battery lifetime and reliability include NTC battery temperature sensing and the SmartStart charging algorithm. No external sense resistor or external blocking diode is required for charging due to the internal MOSFET architecture. Internal thermal feedback regulates the charge current to maintain a constant die temperature during high power operation or high ambient temperature conditions. The charge current is programmed with an external resistor. With power applied, the LTC4061-4.4 can be put into shutdown mode to reduce the supply current to 20?A and the battery drain current to less than 5?A.Other features include smart recharge, USB C/5 current programming input, undervoltage lockout and AC Present logic output.? The LT1993-2 is a low distortion, low noise Differential Ampli?er/ADC driver for use in applications from DC to 800MHz. The LT1993-2 has been designed for ease of use, with minimal support circuitry required. Exceptionally low input-referred noise and low distortion products (with either single-ended or differential inputs) make the LT1993-2 an excellent solution for driving high speed 12-bit and 14-bit ADCs. In addition to the normal un? ltered outputs (+OUT and ?OUT), the LT1993-2 has a built-in 175MHz differential low pass ?lter and an additional pair of ?ltered outputs (+OUTFILTERED, ?OUTFILTERED) to reduce external ?ltering components when driving high speed ADCs. The output common mode voltage is easily set via the VOCM pin, eliminating either an output transformer or AC-coupling capacitors in many applications. The LT1993-2 is designed to meet the demanding requirements of communications transceiver applications. It can be used as a differential ADC driver, a general-purpose differential gain block, or in any other application requiring differential drive. The LT1993-2 can be used in data acquisition systems required to function at frequencies down to DC.The LT1993-2 operates on a 5V supply and consumes 100mA. It comes in a compact 16-lead 3 ? 3 QFN package and operates over a ?40?C to 85?C temperature range.Applications Differential ADC Driver for: Imaging Communications Differential Driver/Receiver Single Ended to Differential Conversion Differential to Single Ended Conversion Level Shifting IF Sampling Receivers SAW Filter Interfacing/Buffering
