The ADuM7703 is a high performance, second-order, ?-? analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with an integrated low dropout (LDO) regulator that converts an analog input signal into a high speed, single-bit data stream with on-chip digital isolation based on Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler? technology. The device operates from a 4.5 V to 20 V power supply range (VDD1) and accepts a pseudo differential input signal of ?250 mV (?320 mV full-scale). The pseudo differential input is ideally suited to shunt voltage monitoring in high voltage applications where galvanic isolation is required.The analog input is continuously sampled by a high performance analog modulator and converted to a ones density digital output stream with a data rate of up to 21 MHz. The original information can be reconstructed with an appropriate sinc3 digital filter to achieve an 86 dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) at 78.1 kSPS with a 256 decimation rate and a 20 MHz master clock. The serial input and output operates from a 5 V or a 3.3 V supply (VDD2).The serial interface is digitally isolated. High speed complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) technology, combined with monolithic transformer technology, results in the on-chip isolation providing outstanding performance characteristics, superior to alternatives such as optocoupler devices. The ADuM7703 device is available in a 16-lead, wide-body SOIC with an operating temperature range of ?40?C to +125?C and an 8-lead, wide-body SOIC with an operating temperature range of ?40?C to +105?C.Applications Shunt current monitoring AC motor controls Power and solar inverters Wind turbine inverters Analog-to-digital and optoisolator replacement

EVAL-ADF4XXXZ-USB

The EVAL-ADF4XXX is a USB to parallel port adaptor board which allows control of older PLL evaluation boards using a standard USB port. The evaluation board kit comes with a USB cable and the adaptor PCB board. The board contains a USB microcontroller which converts the USB data to lower speed serial data which can be used to control the PLL boards directly. The board also has a USB connector and 25-pin D-connector. The parallel port cable that ships with the older PLL evaluation boards should be connected to the 25-pin D-connector. The USB port should be connected to your pc using the USB cable provided. USB drivers for the board are provided on the standard PLL evaluation board CD. Please install the ADI evaluation board software before plugging in the USB board.

The LTC1408 is a 14-bit, 600ksps ADC with six simultaneously sampled differential inputs. The device draws only 5mA from a single 3V supply, and comes in a tiny 32 pin (5mm ? 5mm) QFN package. A SLEEP shutdown feature lowers power consumption to 6?W. The combination of low power and tiny package makes the LTC1408 suitable for portable applications.The LTC1408 contains six separate differential inputs that are sampled simultaneously on the rising edge of the CONV signal. These six sampled inputs are then converted at a rate of 100ksps per channel.The 90dB common mode rejection allows users to eliminate ground loops and common mode noise by measuring signals differentially from the source.The device converts 0V to 2.5V unipolar inputs differentially, or ?1.25V bipolar inputs also differentially, depending on the state of the BIP pin. Any analog input may swing rail-to-rail as long as the differential input range is maintained.The conversion sequence can be abbreviated to convert fewer than six channels, depending on the logic state of the SEL2, SEL1 and SEL0 inputs.The serial interface sends out the six conversion results in 96 clocks for compatibility with standard serial interfaces.Applications Multiphase Power Measurement Multiphase Motor Control Data Acquisition Systems Uninterruptable Power Supplies
