The AD9910 is a direct digital synthesizer (DDS) featuringan integrated 14-bit DAC and supporting sample rates up to1 GSPS. The AD9910 employs an advanced, proprietary DDStechnology that provides a significant reduction in power consumptionwithout sacrificing performance. The DDS/DACcombination forms a digitally programmable, high frequency,analog output synthesizer capable of generating a frequencyagile sinusoidal waveform at frequencies up to 400 MHz.The user has access to the three signal control parameters thatcontrol the DDS: frequency, phase, and amplitude. The DDSprovides fast frequency hopping and frequency tuning resolutionwith its 32-bit accumulator. With a 1 GSPS sample rate, thetuning resolution is ~0.23 Hz. The DDS also enables fast phaseand amplitude switching capability.The AD9910 is controlled by programming its internal controlregisters via a serial I/O port. The AD9910 includes an integratedstatic RAM to support various combinations of frequency, phase,and/or amplitude modulation. The AD9910 also supports a userdefined, digitally controlled, digital ramp mode of operation. Inthis mode, the frequency, phase, or amplitude can be variedlinearly over time. Demonstration circuit 1352A is a low quiescent current, dual output 2-phase, synchronous buck converter demo board featuring the LTC3857EGN-1 or LTC3858EGN-1. It features a 4.5V to 36V input voltage range and provides 3.3V / 5A and 8.5V / 3A outputs. Two versions of the board are available. The DC-1352A-A is for the LTC3857EGN-1, which offers lower quiescent current and smaller burst mode ripple, while the DC1352A-B is for the LTC3858EGN-1 which offers latch-off protection and increased burst mode efficiency.

Demonstration circuit 2506A is a high voltage, currentmode DC/DC step-down converter featuring the LTC3894. The board operates from an input range of 6V to 150V, and provides a 5V, 3A output. The PMOSFET architecture allows it to operate seamlessly up to 100% duty cycle, and function as a saturated switch below the regulation threshold. This application has undervoltage lockout programmed for a 6V minimum input to assure adequate gate drive for the MOSFET. It operates at 150kHz and may be synchronized to an external clock. A soft-start feature controls output voltage slew rate at start-up, reducing current surge and voltage overshoot. Burst Mode operation that improves efficiency at light loads can be enabled with a jumper. A power good output signal is provided. This board is suitable for a wide range of automotive, telecom, industrial, and other applications. The LTC3894 is available in a thermally enhanced 20-pin TSSOP package with skipped leads to accommodate high voltage creepage and clearance requirements.
