The ADM2795E is a 5 kV rms signal isolated RS-485 transceiver that features up to ?42 V of ac/dc peak bus overvoltage fault protection on the RS-485 bus pins. The device integrates Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler? technology to combine a 3-channel isolator, RS-485transceiver, and IEC electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) transient protection in a single package. The ADM2795E is aRS-485/RS-422 transceiver that integrates IEC 61000-4-5 Level 4surge protection, allowing up to ?4 kV protection on the RS-485bus pins (A and B). The device has IEC 61000-4-4 Level 4 EFTprotection up to ?2 kV and IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 ESD protection on the bus pins, allowing this device to withstand up to ?15 kV on the transceiver interface pins without latching up. Demonstration circuit 1379B is a step-down DC/DC switching regulator featuring the LTM8025 μModule® regulator. The demo board is designed to deliver a 3.3V @ 3A output from a 5.5V to 36V input. The wide input range of the LTM8025 allows a variety of input sources such as automotive batteries, wall adaptors and industrial supplies. The modes of operation (Burst Mode® operation or synchronization) are jumper-selectable. Burst Mode operation improves efficiency at light loads. The LTM8025 can be synchronized over a 250kHz to 2MHz range.

The LTC7103-1 is a high efficiency, monolithic synchro-nous step-down DC/DC converter utilizing a constant frequency, average current mode control architecture. It operates from an input voltage range of 4.4V to 105V and provides an adjustable regulated output voltage from 1V to VIN while delivering up to 2.3A of output current.The LTC7103-1 features high frequency operation and a low minimum on-time that reduce inductor size and enable constant-frequency operation even at very high step-down ratios. In addition, the LTC7103-1 achieves the lowest possible dropout voltage with 100% maximum duty cycle operation. During light load operation, converter efficiency and output ripple can be optimized by selecting Burst Mode, pulse-skipping or forced continuous operation.The LTC7103-1 includes accurate, high speed average current programming and monitoring without the need for an external sense resistor.
