The ADXRS453 is an angular rate sensor (gyroscope) intended for industrial, instrumentation, and stabilization applications in high vibration environments. An advanced, differential, quad sensor design rejects the influence of linear acceleration, enabling the ADXRS453 to offer high accuracy rate sensing in harsh envi-ronments where shock and vibration are present.The ADXRS453 uses an internal, continuous self-test architec-ture. The integrity of the electromechanical system is checked by applying a high frequency electrostatic force to the sense structure to generate a rate signal that can be differentiated from the base-band rate data and internally analyzed.The ADXRS453 is capable of sensing an angular rate of up to ?300?/sec. Angular rate data is presented as a 16-bit word that is part of a 32-bit SPI message.The ADXRS453 is available in a 16-lead plastic cavity SOIC (SOIC_CAV) and an SMT-compatible vertical mount package (LCC_V), and is capable of operating across a wide voltage range (3.3 V to 5 V). The AD4110-1 is a complete, single-channel, universal input analog-to-digital front end for industrial process control systems where sensor type flexibility is required.The high voltage input is fully software configurable for current or voltage signals and allows direct interface to all standard industrial analog signal sources such as ?20 mA, ?4 mA to ?20 mA, ?10 V, and all thermocouple types. Field power can be supplied for loop powered current output sensors. A range of excitation current sources for resistance temperature detector (RTD) sensors and other resistive sensors are included. The integrated, fully differential programmable gain amplifier (PGA) offers 16 gain settings from 0.2 to 24.The high voltage input can be programmed to power up in either voltage mode or current mode. When programmed to current mode, the unique input circuit architecture provides a path for the loop current, even in the absence of the system module power supply.The AD4110-1 provides internal, front-end diagnostic functions to indicate overvoltage, undervoltage, open wire, overcurrent, and overtemperature conditions. The high voltage input is thermally protected, overcurrent limited, and overvoltage protected.The AD4110-1 incorporates a precision 24-bit, ?-?, analog-todigital converter (ADC) offering conversion rates from 5 SPS to 125 kSPS with simultaneous 50 Hz and 60 Hz noise rejection. The AD8224 is the first single-supply, JFET input instrumentation amplifier available in the space-saving 16-lead, 4 mm ? 4 mm LFCSP. It requires the same board area as a typical single instrumentation amplifier yet doubles the channel density and offers a lower cost per channel without compromising performance.Designed to meet the needs of high performance, portable instrumentation, the AD8224 has a minimum common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 86 dB at dc and a minimum CMRR of 80 dB at 10 kHz for G = 1. Maximum input bias current is 10 pA and typically remains below 300 pA over the entire industrial temperature range. Despite the JFET inputs, the AD8224 typically has a noise corner of only 10 Hz.With the proliferation of mixed-signal processing, the number of power supplies required in each system has grown.Designed to alleviate this problem, the AD8224 can operate on a ?18 V dual supply, as well as on a single +5 V supply. The device?s rail-to-rail output stage maximizes dynamic range on the low voltage supplies common in portable applications. Its ability to run on a single 5 V supply eliminates the need for higher voltage, dual supplies. The AD8224 draws 750 ?A of quiescent current per amplifier, making it ideal for battery powered devices.In addition, the AD8224 can be configured as a single-channel, differential output, instrumentation amplifier. Differential outputs provide high noise immunity, which can be useful when the output signal must travel through a noisy environment, such as with remote sensors. Demonstration circuit DC2448A-D features a PolyPhase® design using the LTM4636-1EY, a 40A high efficiency, switch mode step-down power µModule® regulator with
overvoltage and overtemperature protection features. The input voltage range is from 9V to 15V. The output voltage range is 0.6V to 3.3V. The DC2448A-D can deliver a
nominal 160A output current. DC2448A-D has on-boardhot swap circuit that can disconnect input supply and protect the LTM4636-1 and the load under overvoltage and overtemperature conditions. As explained in the data sheet, output current derating is necessary for certain VIN, VOUT and thermal conditions. The board operates in continuous conduction mode in heavy load conditions.
For high efficiency at low load currents, the MODE_PLLIN jumper selects pulse-skipping mode for noise sensitive applications or Burst Mode® operation in less noise sensitive applications. The MODE_PLLIN pin also allows the LTM4636-1 to synchronize to an external clock signal. DC2448A-D has the option of choosing both internal and external compensation circuits for LTM4636-1. The LTM4636-1 data sheet must be read in conjunction with this demo manual prior to working on or modifying demo circuit DC2448A-D.

The LTC2337-18 is a low noise, high speed 18-bit successive approximation register (SAR) ADC with fully differential inputs. Operating from a single 5V supply, the LTC2337-18 has a ?10.24V true bipolar input range, making it ideal for high voltage applications which require a wide dynamic range. The LTC2337-18 achieves ?4LSB INL maximum, no missing codes at 18-bits with 100dB SNR.The LTC2337-18 has an on-board single-shot capable reference buffer and low drift (20ppm/?C max) 2.048V temperature compensated reference. The LTC2337-18 also has a high speed SPI-compatible serial interface that supports 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 5V logic while also featuring a daisy-chain mode. The fast 500ksps throughput with no cycle latency makes the LTC2337-18 ideally suited for a wide variety of high speed applications. An internal oscillator sets the conversion time, easing external timing considerations. The LTC2337-18 dissipates only 35mW and automatically naps between conversions, leading to reduced power dissipation that scales with the sampling rate.
