LTM4668A Demo Board | Tiny Quad 1.2A Output Step-Down µModule Regulator

Demonstration circuit 2785A-B features the LTM4668A µModule® regulator, a Quad 1.2A high efficiency step-down regulator. DC2785A-B has an operating input voltage range of 2.7V to 17V and can provide an output current of up to 1.2A. The output voltage can be programmed from 1.8V up to 5V. The LTM4668A is a complete DC/DC point of load regulator in a thermally enhanced 6.25mm × 6.25mm × 2.1mm BGA package requiring only a few input and output capacitors. External clock synchronization is available through the CLKIN turret. The LTM4668A data sheet must be read in conjunction with this demo manual for working on or modifying demo circuit 2785A-B.

Peak current mode control with a 30ns minimum on-time allows high step-down ratios even at high switching frequencies.The LT8636?s ultralow 2.5?A quiescent current?with the output in full regulation?enables applications requiring highest efficiency at very small load currents. The LT8637 has external compensation to enable current sharing and fast transient response at high switching frequencies. LTC7880 Demo Board | High Voltage Dual Step-up DC/DC Converter with Digital Power System Management

Demonstration circuit 2728A is a high voltage, dual output boost converter with 12V to 24V input range. The output voltage is adjustable from VIN to 48V. Each output can supply 5A maximum load current. The demo board has a LTC7880 controller, which is a 60V dual output step-up controller with digital power system management. Please see LTC7880 data sheet for more detailed information. DC2728A powers up to default settings and produces power based on configuration resistors or its nonvolatile memory (NVM) without the need for any serial bus communication. This allows easy evaluation of the DC/DC converter. To fully explore the extensive power system management features of the part, download the GUI software LTpowerPlay® onto your PC and use ADI’s I2C/SMBus/PMBus dongle DC1613A to connect to the board. LTpowerPlay allows the user to reconfigure the part on-the-fly and store the configuration in EEPROM, view telemetry of voltage, current, temperature and fault status.

The ADF4159 is a 13 GHz, fractional-N frequency synthesizer with modulation and both fast and slow waveform generation capability. The part uses a 25-bit fixed modulus, allowing subhertz frequency resolution.The ADF4159 consists of a low noise digital phase frequency detector (PFD), a precision charge pump, and a programmable reference divider. The ?-?-based fractional interpolator allows programmable fractional-N division. The INT and FRAC registers define an overall N divider as N = INT + (FRAC/225).The ADF4159 can be used to implement frequency shift keying (FSK) and phase shift keying (PSK) modulation. Frequency sweep modes are also available to generate various waveforms in the frequency domain, for example, sawtooth and triangular waveforms. Sweeps can be set to run automatically, or each step manually triggered by an external pulse. The ADF4159 features cycle slip reduction circuitry, which enables faster lock times without the need for modifications to the loop filter.Control of all on-chip registers is via a simple 3-wire interface.
