The ADAU1962A is a high performance, single-chip digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that provides 12 DACs with differential or single-ended outputs using the Analog Devices, Inc., patented multibit ?-? architecture. A serial peripheral interface (SPI)/I2C port is included, allowing a microcontroller to adjust volume and many other parameters. The ADAU1962A operates from 2.5 V digital and 3.3 V analog supplies. A linear regulator is included to generate the digital supply voltage from the analog supply voltage. The ADAU1962A is available in an 80-lead LQFP.The ADAU1962A is designed for low EMI. This consideration is apparent in both the system and circuit design architectures. By using the on-board PLL to derive the internal master clock from an external left-right frame clock (LRCLK), the ADAU1962A can eliminate the need for a separate high frequency master clock andcan be used with or without a bit clock. The DACs are designed using the latest Analog Devices continuous time architectures to further minimize EMI. The ADCMP572 and ADCMP573?are ultrafast comparators fabricated on Analog Devices? proprietary XFCB3 Silicon Germanium (SiGe) bipolar process. The ADCMP572 features CML output drivers and latch inputs, and the ADCMP573 features reduced swing PECL (RSPECL) output drivers and latch inputs.Both devices offer 150 ps propagation delay and 80 ps minimum pulse width for 10 Gbps operation with 200 fs rms random jitter (RJ). Overdrive and slew rate dispersion are typically less than 15 ps.A flexible power supply scheme allows both devices to operate with a single 3.3 V positive supply and a ?0.2 V to +1.2 V input signal range or with split input/output supplies to support a wider ?0.2 V to +3.2 V input signal range and an independent range of output levels. 50 ? on-chip termination resistors are provided at both inputs with the optional capability to be left open (on an individual pin basis) for applications requiring high impedance inputs.The CML output stage is designed to directly drive 400 mV into 50 ? transmission lines terminated to between 3.3 V to 5.2 V. The RSPECL output stage is designed to drive 400 mV into 50 ? terminated to VCCO ? 2 V and is compatible with several commonly used PECL logic families. The comparator input stage offers robust protection against large input overdrive, and the outputs do not phase reverse when the valid input signal range is exceeded. The LT4363 surge stopper protects loads from high voltage transients. It regulates the output during an overvoltage event, such as load dump in vehicles, by controlling the gate of an external N-channel MOSFET. The output is limited to a safe value allowing the loads to continue functioning. The LT4363 also monitors the voltage drop between the SNS and OUT pins to protect against overcurrent faults. An internal amplifier limits the voltage across the current sense resistor to 50mV. In either fault condition, a timer is started inversely proportional to MOSFET stress. Before the timer expires, the FLT pin pulls low to warn of an impending power down. If the condition persists, the MOSFET is turned off. The LT4363-1 remains off until reset whereas the LT4363-2 restarts after a cool down period.Two precision comparators can monitor the input supply for overvoltage (OV) and undervoltage (UV) conditions. When the potential is below the UV threshold, the external MOSFET is kept off. If the input supply voltage is above the OV threshold, the MOSFET is not allowed to turn back on. Back-to-back MOSFETs can be used in lieu of a Schottky diode for reverse input protection, reducing voltage drop and power loss. The ADP1032 is a high performance, isolated micropower management unit (PMU) that combines an isolated flyback and a dc-to-dc regulator providing two isolated power rails. Additionally, the ADP1032 contains four high speed serial peripheral interface (SPI) isolation channels and three general-purpose isolators for channel to channel applications where low power dissipation and small solution size is required. Operating over an input voltage range of 4.5 V to 60 V, the ADP1032 generates isolated output voltages of 6 V to 28 V (adjustable version) or 24 V (fixed version) for VOUT1, and factory programmable voltages of 5.15 V, 5.0 V, or 3.3 V for VOUT2.?By default, the ADP1032 flyback regulator operates at a 250 kHz switching frequency, and the buck regulator operates at 125 kHz.?The two regulators are phase shifted relative to each other to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI). The AD7124-4 is a low power, low noise, completely integrated analog front end for high precision measurement applications. The device contains a low noise, 24-bit ?-? analog-to-digital converter (ADC), and can be configured to have 4 differential inputs or 7 single-ended or pseudo differential inputs. The onchip low gain stage ensures that signals of small amplitude can be interfaced directly to the ADC.One of the major advantages of the AD7124-4 is that it gives the user the flexibility to employ one of three integrated power modes. The current consumption, range of output data rates, and rms noise can be tailored with the power mode selected. The device also offers a multitude of filter options, ensuring that the user has the highest degree of flexibility.The AD7124-4 can achieve simultaneous 50 Hz and 60 Hz rejection when operating at an output data rate of 25 SPS (single cycle settling), with rejection in excess of 80 dB achieved at lower output data rates.The AD7124-4 establishes the highest degree of signal chain integration. The device contains a precision, low noise, low drift internal band gap reference, and also accepts an external differential reference, which can be internally buffered. Other key integrated features include programmable low drift excitation current sources, burnout currents, and a bias voltage generator, which sets the common-mode voltage of a channel to AVDD/2. The low-side power switch enables the user to power down bridge sensors between conversions, ensuring the absolute minimal power consumption of the system. The device also allows the user the option of operating with either an internal clock or an external clock.The integrated channel sequencer allows several channels to be enabled simultaneously, and the AD7124-4 sequentially converts on each enabled channel, simplifying communication with the device. As many as 16 channels can be enabled at any time; a channel being defined as an analog input or a diagnostic such as a power supply check or a reference check. This unique feature allows diagnostics to be interleaved with conversions.The AD7124-4 also supports per channel configuration. The device allows eight configurations or setups. Each configuration consists of gain, filter type, output data rate, buffering, and reference source. The user can assign any of these setups on a channel by channel basis.The AD7124-4 also has extensive diagnostic functionality integrated as part of its comprehensive feature set.
