The ADV7800 is a high quality, single-chip, multiformat 3D comb filter, video decoder, and graphics digitizer. This multiformat 3D comb filter decoder supports the conversion of PAL, NTSC, and SECAM standards in the form of a composite or an S-Video into a digital ITU-R BT.656 format. The ADV7800 also supports the decoding of a component RGB/YPbPr video signal into a digital YCrCb or RGB pixel output stream.The support for component video includes standards such as 525i, 625i, 525p, 625p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p, and many other HD and SMPTE standards. Graphics digitization is supported by the ADV7800; it is capable of digitizing RGB graphics signals from VGA to SXGA rates and converting them into a digital RGB or YCrCb pixel output stream. SCART and overlay functionality are enabled by the ability of the ADV7800 to simultaneously process CVBS and standard definition RGB signals.The ADV7800 contains two main processing sections. The first section is the standard definition processor (SDP), which processes all PAL, NTSC, SECAM, and component (up to 525p/625p) signal types. The?ADP124?/ ADP125 are low quiescent current, low dropout linear regulators. They are designed to operate from an input voltage between 2.3 V and 5.5 V and to provide up to 500 mA of output current. The low 130 mV dropout voltage at a 500 mA load improves efficiency and allows operation over a wide input voltage range.The low 210 ?A of quiescent current with a 500 mA load makes the ADP124 / ADP125 ideal for battery-operated portable equipment.The ADP124 is capable of 31 fixed-output voltages from 1.75 V to 3.3 V. The ADP125 is the adjustable version of the device and allows the output voltage to be set between 0.8 V and 5.0 V by an external voltage divider.The ADP124 / ADP125 are specifically designed for stable operation with tiny 1 ?F ceramic input and output capacitors to meet the requirements of high performance, space constrained applications.The ADP124 / ADP125 have an internal soft start that gives a constant start-up time of 350 ?s. Short-circuit protection and thermal overload protection circuits prevent damage in adverse conditions. The ADP124/ADP125 are available in an 8-lead exposed paddle MSOP package. When compared with the standard MSOP package, the exposed paddle MSOP package has lower thermal resistance (?JA). The HMC602LP4(E) Logarithmic Detector/Controller converts RF signals at its input, to a proportional DC voltage at its output. The HMC602LP4(E) employ a successive compression topology which delivers extremely high dynamic range and conversion accuracy over a wide input frequency range. As the input power is increased, successive amplifiers move into saturation one by one creating an accurate approximation of the logarithm function. The output of a series of square law detectors is summed, converted into voltage domain and buffered to drive the LOGOUT output. For detection mode, the LOGOUT pin is shorted to the VSET input, and will provide a nominal logarithmic slope of -25mV/ dB and an intercept of 18 dBm (23 dBm for ? ? 5.8 GHz).
