The ADA4945-1 is a low noise, low distortion, fully differential amplifier with two selectable power modes. The device operates over a broad power supply range of 3 V to 10 V. The low dc offset, dc offset drift, and excellent dynamic performance of the ADA4945-1 makes it well suited for a variety of data acquisition and signal processing applications. The device is an ideal choice for driving high resolution, high performance successive approximation register (SAR) and ?-? analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) on 4 mA of quiescent current (full power mode). The device can also be selected to operate on 1.4 mA of quiescent current (low power mode) to scale the power consumption to the desired performance necessary for an ADC drive application. The adjustable common-mode voltage allows the ADA4945-1 to match the input common-mode voltage of multiple ADCs. The internal common-mode feedback loop provides exceptional output balance, as well as suppression of even order harmonic distortion products.With the ADA4945-1, differential gain configurations are achieved with a simple external feedback network of four resistors determining the closed-loop gain of the amplifier. The ADA4945-1 is fabricated using Analog Devices, Inc., proprietary, silicon germanium (SiGe), complementary bipolar process, enabling the device to achieve low levels of distortion with an input voltage noise of only 1.8 nV/?Hz (full power mode).The ADA4945-1 is available in a RoHS-complaint, 3 mm ? 3 mm, 16-lead LFCSP. Demonstration circuit 2543B is a high efficiency, high
density, open loop charge pump (inductorless) DC/DC
converter. This demo board is a voltage divider which
achieves a 2:1 step-down ratio from an input voltage from
36V to 60V. The output voltage is a fixed ratio of half of the
input voltage (VIN/2) and can supply a 10A load current.
This demo board has the option to deliver a 20A maximum
load with the addition of 15 chip capacitors.
The DC2543B provides a very high efficiency solution of
98.7% when converting 48VIN to 24VOUT at 10A. When configured for a 20A output, an efficiency
of up to 98.4% is achievable for a 48VIN to 24VOUT
at 20A.
The demo board features the LTC7820, a fixed ratio high
voltage high power switched capacitor/charge pump
controller in a 4mm × 5mm QFN package. Please see
LTC7820 data sheet for more detailed information.
The DC2543B needs to be powered on with no load current
or a very small load current (less than 50mA) with
the default setup. Large load current can be applied after
VO is established. The board offers a disconnect FET
option which is controlled by the LTC7820 FAULT pin
to disconnect the load during startup as shown in the
schematic. Please refer to “Voltage Divider Prebalance
Before Switching” section in the LTC7820 data sheet for
more details regarding the startup of the voltage divider.
The board also features some protection functions
such as overcurrent and thermal shutdown to make it a
reliable solution.

The AD8155 is an asynchronous, protocol-agnostic, dual-lane 2:1 switch with a total of six differential CML inputs and six differential CML outputs. The signal path supports NRZ signaling with data rates up to 6.5 Gbps per lane. Each lane offers programmable receive equalization, programmable output pre-emphasis, programmable output levels, and loss-of-signal detection.The nonblocking switch-core of the AD8155 implements a 2:1 multiplexer and 1:2 demultiplexer per lane and supports independent lane switching through the two select pins, SEL[1:0]. Each port is a two-lane link. Every lane implements an asynchronous path supporting dc to 6.5 Gbps NRZ data, fully independent of other lanes. The AD8155 has low latency and very low lane-to-lane skew.The main application of the AD8155 is to support redundancy on both the backplane and the line interface sides of a serial link. The demultiplexing path implements unicast and bicast capability, allowing the part to support either 1+1 or 1:1 redundancy.The AD8155 is also suited for testing high speed serial links because of its ability to duplicate incoming data.
