The ADM1186-1 and ADM1186-2 are integrated, four-channel, voltage monitoring and sequencing devices. A 2.7 V to 5.5 V power supply is required on the VCC pin for power.Four precision comparators monitor four voltage rails, with all comparators sharing a 0.6 V reference and a worst-case accuracy of 0.8%. Resistor networks that are external to the VIN1, VIN2, VIN3, and VIN4 pins set the Under Voltage (UV) trip points for the monitored supply rails.The ADM1186-1 and ADM1186-2 have four open drain enable outputs, OUTx, that are used to enable power supplies. An open drain power good output, PWRGD, is provided that indicatesthe four VINx inputs are above their UV thresholds.A state machine monitors the state of the UP and?DOWN pins on the ADM1186-1 or the UP/overbar: DOWN pin on the ADM1186-2 to control the supply sequencing direction. In the ?Wait Start?state, a rising edge transition on the UP or UP/DOWN pin triggers a power-up sequence. A falling edge transition on the DOWN or UP/DOWN pin in the ?Power Up Done? statetriggers a power down sequence.During a power up sequence, the state machine enables each power supply in turn. The supply output voltage is monitored to determine if it rises above the UV threshold level within a userdefined duration called the blanking time. If a supply rises above the UV threshold then the next enable output in the sequence is turned on. In addition to the blanking time a user may also define sequencing time delays between each enable output turning on. When all four enable outputs are on, and the four VINx pins are above their UV trip points the power up sequence is complete. The ADM1186-1 provides an open drain pin, SEQ_DONE, that is asserted high to provide an indication that an up sequence is complete. The SEQ_DONE pins is allows multiple cascadedADM1186-1 devices to be perform controlled power up and down sequences. During a power down sequence the enable outputs turn off inreverse order. The sequence time delays between successive supplies the same as during the power up sequence, and no blanking time is used during a power down sequence. At the end of a down sequence the SEQ_DONE pin is brought low. During sequencing and when powered up, the state machine continuously monitors for any fault conditions. Faults include a UV condition on any of the inputs, or an unexpected controlinput. Any fault that occurs causes the state machine to enter a fault handler. This immediately turns off all enable outputs, and ensures that the device is ready to start a new up sequence. The ADM1186-1 has a bi-directional open drain pin, FAULT, that facilitates fault handling when using multiple devices. An ADM1186-1 experiencing a fault condition drives the FAULT pin low, causing other connected ADM1186-1devices to enter their own fault handling state.The ADM1186-1 is available in a 20-lead QSOP package andthe ADM1186-2 is available in a 16-lead QSOP package.

The ADXL343 is a versatile 3-axis, digital-output, low?g MEMS accelerometer. Selectable measurement range and bandwidth, and configurable, built-in motion detection make it suitable for sensing acceleration in a wide variety of applications. Robustness to 10,000 g?of shock and a wide temperature range (?40?C to +85?C) enable use of the accelerometer even in harsh environments.The ADXL343 measures acceleration with high resolution (13-bit) measurement at up to ?16g. Digital output data is formatted as 16-bit twos complement and is accessible through either an SPI (3- or 4-wire) or I2C digital interface. The ADXL343 can measure the static acceleration of gravity in tilt-sensing applications, as well as dynamic acceleration resulting from motion or shock. Its high resolution (3.9 mg/LSB) enables measurement of inclination changes less than 1.0?.Several special sensing functions are provided. Activity and inactivity sensing detect the presence or lack of motion. Tap sensing detects single and double taps in any direction. Free-fall sensing detects if the device is falling. The LTC3766 is a PolyPhase-capable secondary-side controller for synchronous forward converters. When used in conjunction with the LTC3765 active-clamp forward controller and gate driver, the part creates a complete isolated power supply that combines the power of multiphase operation with the speed of secondary-side control.The LTC3766 has been designed to simplify the design of active clamp forward converters. Working in concert with the LTC3765, the LTC3766 forms a robust, self-starting converter that eliminates the need for the separate bias regulator that is commonly used in secondary-side control applications. The ADuM4146 is a single-channel gate driver specifically optimized for driving silicon carbide (SiC), metal-oxide semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFETs). Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler? technology provides isolation between the input signal and the output gate drive.The ADuM4146 includes a Miller clamp to provide robust SiC turn off with a single-rail supply when the gate voltage drops to less than 2 V. Operation with unipolar or bipolar secondary supplies is possible with or without the Miller clamp operation.The Analog Devices chip scale transformers also provide isolated communication of control information between the high voltage and low voltage domains of the chip. Information on the status of the chip can be read back from dedicated outputs. Control of resetting the device after a fault on the secondary side is performed on the primary side of the device.Integrated onto the ADuM4146 is a desaturation detection circuit that provides protection against high voltage short-circuit SiC operation. The desaturation protection contains noise reducing features, such as a 300 ns masking time after a switching event to mask voltage spikes due to initial turn on (see Figure 17 in the data sheet). An optional internal 500 ?A current source allows low device count, and the internal blanking switch allows the addition of an external current source if more noise immunity is needed.The secondary undervoltage lockout (UVLO) is set to 14.5 V (typical) for Grade A and is set to 11.5 V (typical) for Grade B and Grade C with common SiC and insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) levels taken into consideration.
