Demonstration circuit 1458 is a monolithic step-down DC/DC switching regulator featuring nonsynchronous LT3972. The demo board is designed for 5V @ 3.5A output from a 6.3V to 33V input with transients up to 62V.

It has a rail-to-rail output buffer and is guaranteed monotonic. The LTC2636-L has a full-scale output of 2.5V, and operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply. The LTC2636-H has a full-scale output of 4.096V, and operates from a 4.5V to 5.5V supply. Each DAC can also operate with an external reference, which sets the DAC full-scale output to the external reference voltage.These DACs communicate via an SPI/MICROWIRE-compatible 3-wire serial interface which operates at clock rates up to 50MHz. Hardware clear (CLR) and asynchronous DAC update (LDAC) pins are available in the MSOP package. The LTC2636 incorporates a power-on reset circuit. Demonstration circuit 1510A is a high output voltage, high efficiency synchronous poly-phase buck converter featuring the LTC3858EUH. The demo circuit is available in two versions. The input voltage of both versions is 16V to 26V. DC1510A-A is configured using 2 LTC3858's with 4 phase interleaving operation which provides a 12V/50A output, while the DC1510A-B is configured with 1 LTC3858 with 2 phase inter-leaving operation which provides a 12V/25A output.

The LTC3553 is a micropower, highly integrated power management and battery charger IC for single-cell Li-Ion/Polymer battery applications. It includes a PowerPath manager with automatic load prioritization, a battery charger, an ideal diode and numerous internal protection features. Designed specifically for USB applications, the LTC3553 power manager automatically limits input current to a maximum of either 100mA or 500mA. Battery charge current is automatically reduced such that the sum of the load current and the charge current does not exceed the selected input current limit. The LTC3553 also includes a synchronous buck regulator, a low dropout linear regulator (LDO), and a pushbutton controller.
