The ADP2138 and ADP2139 are high efficiency, low quiescent current, synchronous step-down dc-to-dc converters. The ADP2139 has the additional feature of an internal discharge switch. The total solution requires only three tiny external components. When the MODE pin is set high, the buck regulator operates in forced PWM mode, which provides low peak-to-peak ripple for power supply noise sensitive loads at the expense of light load efficiency. When the MODE pin is set low, the buck regulator automatically switches operating modes, depending on the load current level. At higher output loads, the buck regulator operates in PWM mode. When the load current falls below a predefined threshold, the regulator operates in power save mode (PSM), improving light load efficiency.The ADP2138/ADP2139 operate on input voltages of 2.3 V to 5.5 V, which allows for single lithium or lithium polymer cell, multiple alkaline or NiMH cell, PCMCIA, USB, and other standard power sources. The maximum load current of 800 mA is achievable across the input voltage range.The ADP2138/ADP2139 are available in fixed output voltages of 3.3 V, 3.0 V, 2.8 V, 2.5 V, 1.8 V, 1.5 V, 1.2 V, 1.0 V, and 0.8 V. All versions include an internal power switch and synchronous rectifier for minimal external part count and high efficiency. The ADP2138/ADP2139 have internal soft start and they are internally compensated. During logic controlled shutdown, the input is disconnected from the output and the ADP2138/ADP2139 draw 0.2 ?A (typical) from the input source.Other key features include undervoltage lockout to prevent deep battery discharge, and soft start to prevent input current overshoot at startup. The AD7732 is a high precision, high throughput analog front end. True 16-bit peak-to-peak resolution is achievable with total conversion times of 500 ?s (2 kHz channel switching) making it ideally suitable for high resolution multiplexing applications.The part can be configured via a simple digital interface, which allows users to balance the noise performance against data throughput up to a 15.4 kHz.The analog front end features two fully differential input channels with unipolar or true bipolar input ranges to ?10 V while operating from a single +5 V analog supply. The part has an overrange and underrange detection capability and accepts an analog input overvoltage to ?16.5 V without degrading the performance of the adjacent channels.The differential reference input features ?No-Reference? detect capability. The ADC also supports per channel system calibration options. The digital serial interface can be configured for 3-wire operation and is compatible with microcontrollers and digital signal processors. All interface inputs are Schmitt triggered. The part is specified for operation over the extended industrial temperature range of ?40?C to +105?C and is available in 28-lead TSSOP package.Other parts in the AD7732 family are the AD7734?and the AD7738.The AD7734 is similar to AD7732, but its analog front end features four single-ended input channels.The AD7738 analog front end is configurable for four fully differential or eight single-ended input channels, features 0.625 V to 2.5 V bipolar/unipolar input ranges, and accepts a common-mode input voltage from 200 mV to AVDD ? 300 mV. The AD9609 is a monolithic, single channel 1.8 V supply, 10-bit,20/40/65/80 MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC). It featuresa high performance sample-and-hold circuit and on-chip voltagereference.The product uses multistage differential pipeline architecturewith output error correction logic to provide 10-bit accuracy at80 MSPS data rates and to guarantee no missing codes over thefull operating temperature range.The ADC contains several features designed to maximize flexibilityand minimize system cost, such as programmable clock and dataalignment and programmable digital test pattern generation. Theavailable digital test patterns include built-in deterministic andpseudorandom patterns, along with custom user-defined testpatterns entered via the serial port interface (SPI).A differential clock input with selectable internal 1 to 8 divide ratiocontrols all internal conversion cycles. An optional duty cyclestabilizer (DCS) compensates for wide variations in the clock dutycycle while maintaining excellent overall ADC performance.The digital output data is presented in offset binary, gray code, ortwos complement format.
