The HMC8100LP6JE is a highly integrated IF receiver chip that converts radio frequency (RF) input signals ranging from 800 MHz to 4000 MHz down to a single ended intermediate frequency (IF) signal of 140 MHz at its output. The IF receiver chip is housed in a compact 6 mm x 6 mm LFCSP package and supports complex modulations up to 1024 QAM. The HMC8100LP6JE device includes two VGAs, three power detectors, a programmable AGC block, and selected integrated bandpass filters with 14 MHz, 28 MHz, 56 MHz, and 112 MHz bandwidth. Demonstration circuit 1311 is a Telecom isolated DC/DC converter featuring the LTC3805/-5 constant frequency current mode flyback controller. The DC1311 converts 18V to 72V input voltage to an isolated 3A of output current at 3.3V. The 300kHz constant frequency operation is maintained down to very light load to reduce low frequency noise generated over a wide range of load current. The converter provides high output voltage accuracy (typically ±2%) over wide load range with no minimum load requirement. The DC1311 also provides non-isolated design by removing opto coupler and LTC4430 circuit. The demonstration circuit can be easily modified to generate different output voltages up to 15V. As output voltage is increased, the maximum output current must be reduced to limit the output power to no more than 10W.

The Evaluation board for the AD5110 contains a SDP connection and software which allows the AD5110 to be controlled from an SDP board. This evaluation board requires an SDP Controller board for connection to the PC. The SDP controller board connects to the PC via USB 2.0. The evaluation board will connect to the SDP controller board. The evaluation board cannot be connected directly to the PC. The evaluation software running on the PC will communicate with the evaluation board through the SDP Controller board. The SDP Controller board is a separate list item in the ordering guide below (EVAL-SDP-CS1Z). If you have not previously purchased an SDP Controller board, please do so to ensure a full evaluation setup.
