The AD8375 is a digitally controlled, variable gain, wide bandwidth amplifier that provides precise gain control, high IP3, and low noise figure. The excellent distortion performance and high signal bandwidth make the AD8375 an excellent gain control device for a variety of receiver applications.Using an advanced high speed SiGe process and incorporating proprietary distortion cancellation techniques, the AD8375 achieves 50 dBm output IP3 at 200 MHz.The AD8375 provides a broad 24 dB gain range with 1 dB resolution. The gain is adjusted through a 5-pin control interface and can be driven using standard TTL levels. The open-collector outputs provide a flexible interface, allowing the overall signal gain to be set by the loading impedance. Thus, the signal voltage gain is directly proportional to the load.The AD8375 is powered on by applying the appropriate logic level to the PWUP pin. The quiescent current of the AD8375 is typically 130 mA. When powered down, the AD8375 consumes less than 5 mA and offers excellent input-to-output isolation.Fabricated on an Analog Devices, Inc., high speed SiGe process, the AD8375 is supplied in a compact, thermally enhanced, 4 mm ? 4 mm, 24-lead LFCSP package and operates over the temperature range of ?40?C to +85?C.Applications ? The AD8432 is a dual-channel, low power, ultralow noiseamplifier with selectable gain and active impedance matching.Each channel has a single-ended input, differential output, andintegrated input clamps. By pin strapping the gain setting pins, four accurate gains of G = 12.04 dB, 18.06 dB, 21.58 dB, and 24.08 dB (?4, ?8, ?12, and ?16, respectively) are possible. A bandwidth of200 MHz at G = 12.04 dB makes this amplifier well suited for many high speed applications.The exceptional noise performance of the AD8432 is madepossible by the active impedance matching. Using a feedback network, the input impedance of the amplifiers can be adjusted to match the signal source impedance without compromising the noise performance. Impedance matching and low noise in the AD8432 allow designers to create wider dynamic rangesystems that are able to detect even very low level signals. The AD8432 achieves 0.85 nV/?Hz input-referred voltage noise fora gain of 12.04 dB. The AD8432?s ultralow noise, low distortion, gain accuracy, and channel-to-channel matching are ideal for high performance ultrasound systems and for processing I/Qdemodulator signals.The AD8432 operates on a single supply of 5 V at 24 mA. It isavailable in a 4 mm ? 4 mm, 24-lead LFSCP. The LFCSP featuresan exposed paddle that provides a low thermal resistance path to the PCB, which enables more efficient heat transfer and increasesreliability. The AD8476 is a very low power, fully differential precision amplifier with integrated gain resistors for unity gain. It is an ideal choice for driving low power, high performance ADCs as a single-ended-to-differential or differential-to-differential amplifier. It provides a precision gain of 1, common-mode level shifting, low temperature drift, and rail-to-rail outputs for maximum dynamic range.The AD8476 also provides overvoltage protection from large industrial input voltages up to ?23 V while operating on a dual 5 V supply. Power dissipation on a single 5 V supply is only 1.5 mW.The AD8476 works well with SAR, ?-?, and pipeline converters. The high current output stage of the part allows it to drive the switched capacitor front-end circuits of many ADCs with minimal error.Unlike many differential drivers on the market, the AD8476 is a high precision amplifier. With 200 ?V maximum output offset, 39 nV/?Hz noise, and ?102 dB THD + N at 10 kHz, the AD8476 pairs well with low power, high accuracy converters.Considering its low power consumption and high precision, the slew-enhanced AD8476 has excellent speed, settling to 16-bit precision for 250 kSPS acquisition times.The AD8476 is available in a space-saving 8-lead MSOP package. The?AD8494/AD8495/AD8496/AD8497?are precision instrumentation amplifiers with thermocouple cold junction compensators on an integrated circuit. They produce a high level (5 mV/?C) output directly from a thermocouple signal by combining an ice point reference with a precalibrated amplifier. They can be used as standalone thermometers or as switched output setpoint controllers using either a fixed or remote setpoint control.The AD8494/AD8495/AD8496/AD8497 can be powered from a single-ended supply (less than 3 V) and can measure temperatures below 0?C by offsetting the reference input. To minimize self-heating, an unloaded AD849x typically operates with a total supply current of 180 ?A, but it is also capable of delivering in excess of ?5 mA to a load.The AD8494 and AD8496 are precalibrated by laser wafer trimming to match the characteristics of J type (iron-constantan) thermocouples; the AD8495 and AD8497 are laser trimmed to match the characteristics of K type (chromel-alumel) thermo-couples. See Table 1 on the data sheet for the optimized ambient temperature range of each part.The AD8494/AD8495/AD8496/AD8497 allow a wide variety of supply voltages. With a 5 V single supply, the 5 mV/?C output allows the devices to cover nearly 1000 degrees of a thermo-couple?s temperature range.The AD8494/AD8495/AD8496/AD8497 work with 3 V supplies, allowing them to interface directly to lower supply ADCs. The AD8556 is a zero-drift, sensor signal amplifier withdigitally programmable gain and output offset. Designed toeasily and accurately convert variable pressure sensor andstrain bridge outputsto a well-defined output voltage range,the AD8556 accurately amplifies many other differential orsingle-ended sensor outputs. The AD8556 uses the ADIpatented low noise auto-zero and DigiTrim? technologies tocreate an incredibly accurate and flexible signal processingsolution in a very compact footprint.Gain is digitally programmable in a wide range from 70 to1,280 through a serial data interface. Gain adjustment canbe fully simulated in-circuit and then permanently programmedwith reliable polyfuse technology. Output offsetvoltage is also digitally programmable and is ratiometric to thesupply voltage. AD8556 also features internal EMI filters on theVNEG, VPOS, FILT and VCLAMP pins.In addition to extremely low input offset voltage, low inputoffset voltage drift, and very high dc and ac CMRR, the AD8556 also includes a pull-up current source at the input pinsand a pull-down current source at the VCLAMP pin. Thisallows open wire and shorted wire fault detection. A low-passfilter function is implemented via a single low cost externalcapacitor. Output clamping set via an external reference voltageallows the AD8556 to drive lower voltage ADCs safely andaccurately.When used in conjunction with an ADC referenced to the samesupply, the system accuracy becomes immune to normal supplyvoltage variations. Output offset voltage can be adjusted with aresolution of better than 0.4% of the difference between VDDand VSS. The AD9083 is a 16-channel, 125 MHz bandwidth, continuous time ?-? (CTSD) ADC. The device features an on-chip, programmable, single-pole antialiasing filter and termination resistor that is designed for low power, small size, and ease of use. The 16 ADC cores features a first-order, CTSD modulator architecture with integrated, background nonlinearity correction logic and self cancelling dither. Each ADC features wide bandwidth inputs supporting a variety of user-selectable input ranges. An integrated voltage reference eases design considerations. The analog input and clock signals are differential inputs. Each ADC has a signal processing tile to filter out of band shaped noise from the ?-? ADC and reduce the sample rate. Each tile contains a cascaded integrator comb (CIC) filter, a quadrature digital downconverter (DDC) with multiple finite input response (FIR) decimation filters (decimate by J block), or up to three quadrature DDC channels with averaging decimation filters for data gating applications. Users can configure the Subclass 1 JESD204B based, high speed serialized output in a variety of lane configurations (up to four), depending on the DDC configuration and the acceptable lane rate of the receiving logic device. Multiple device synchronization is supported through the SYSREF?, TRIG?, and SYNCINB? input pins. The AD9083 has flexible power-down options that allow significant power savings when desired. All of these features can be programmed using a 1.8 V capable 3-wire serial port interface (SPI).
