The ADXL362 is an ultralow power, 3-axis MEMS accelerometer that consumes less than 2 ?A at a 100 Hz output data rate and 270 nA when in motion triggered wake-up mode. Unlike accelerometers that use power duty cycling to achieve low power consumption, the ADXL362 does not alias input signals by undersampling; it samples the full bandwidth of the sensor at all data rates.The ADXL362 always provides 12-bit output resolution; 8-bit formatted data is also provided for more efficient single-byte transfers when a lower resolution is sufficient. Measurement ranges of ?2 g, ?4 g, and ?8 g are available, with a resolution of 1 mg/LSB on the ?2 g range. For applications where a noise level lower than the normal 550 ?g/?Hz of the ADXL362 is desired, either of two lower noise modes (down to 175 ?g/?Hz typical) can be selected at minimal increase in supply current.In addition to its ultralow power consumption, the ADXL362 has many features to enable true system level power reduction. It includes a deep multimode output FIFO, a built-in micropower temperature sensor, and several activity detection modes including adjustable threshold sleep and wake-up operation that can run as low as 270 nA at a 6 Hz (approximate) measurement rate. A pin output is provided to directly control an external switch when activity is detected, if desired. In addition, the ADXL362 has provisions for external control of sampling time and/or an external clock.The ADXL362 operates on a wide 1.6 V to 3.5 V supply range, and can interface, if necessary, to a host operating on a separate, lower supply voltage. The ADP2108 is a high efficiency, low quiescent current step-down dc-to-dc converter manufactured in two different packages. The total solution requires only three tiny external components. It uses a proprietary, high speed current mode, constant frequency PWM control scheme for excellent stability and transient response. To ensure the longest battery life in portable applications, the ADP2108 has a power save mode that reduces the switching frequency under light load conditions.The ADP2108 runs on input voltages of 2.3 V to 5.5 V, which allows for single lithium or lithium polymer cell, multiple alkaline or NiMH cell, PCMCIA, USB, and other standard power sources. The maximum load current of 600 mA is achievable across the input voltage range.The ADP2108 is available in fixed output voltages of 3.3 V, 3.0 V, 2.5 V, 2.3 V, 1.82 V, 1.8 V, 1.5 V, 1.3 V, 1.2 V, 1.1 V, and 1.0 V. All versions include an internal power switch and synchronous rectifier for minimal external part count and high efficiency. The ADP2108 has an internal soft start and is internally compensated. During logic controlled shutdown, the input is disconnected from the output and the ADP2108 draws less than 1 ?A from the input source.Other key features include undervoltage lockout to prevent deep battery discharge and soft start to prevent input current over-shoot at startup. The ADP2108 is available in 5-ball WLCSP and 5-lead TSOT packages. The AD5424?/?AD5433?/ AD5445 are CMOS 8-, 10-, and 12-bitcurrent output digital-to-analog converters (DACs), respectively.These devices operate from a 2.5 V to 5.5 V power supply,making them suitable for battery-powered applications andmany other applications. These DACs utilize data readback,allowing the user to read the contents of the DAC register viathe DB pins. On power-up, the internal register and latches arefilled with 0s and the DAC outputs are at zero scale.As a result of manufacturing with a CMOS submicron process,they offer excellent 4-quadrant multiplication characteristics,with large signal multiplying bandwidths of up to 10 MHz.The applied external reference input voltage (VREF) determines thefull-scale output current. The AD8278 and AD8279 are general-purpose difference amplifiers intended for precision signal conditioning in power critical applications that require both high performance and low power. The AD8278 and AD8279 provide exceptional common-mode rejection ratio (80 dB) and high bandwidth while amplifying input signals that are well beyond the supply rails. The on-chip resistors are laser trimmed for excellent gain accuracy and high CMRR. They also have extremely low gain drift vs. temperature.The common-mode range of the amplifier extends to almost triple the supply voltage (for G = ?), making the amplifer ideal for single-supply applications that require a high common-mode voltage range. The internal resistors and ESD circuitry at the inputs also provide overvoltage protection to the op amp.The AD8278 and AD8279 can be used as difference amplifiers with G = ? or G = 2. They can also be connected in a high precision, single-ended configuration for non inverting and inverting gains of ??, ?2, +3, +2, +1?, +1, or +?. The ADL5306 is a low cost micro-miniature logarithmic converter optimized for the determination of optical power in fiber-optic systems. It uses an advanced implementation of a classic translinear (junction-based) technique to provide a large dynamic range in a versatile and easily-used form. A single supply voltage of between 3 V and 5.5 V is adequate; dual supplies may optionally be used. The low quiescent current (typically 5 mA) permits use in battery-operating applicationsThe input current IPD of 100 nA to 100 ?A applied to the INPT pin is the collector current of an optimally-scaled NPN transistor, which converts this current to a voltage (its VBE) with a precise logarithmic relationship. A second such converter is used to handle the reference current, IREF, applied to pin IREF. These input nodes are biased slightly above ground (0.5 V). This is generally acceptable for photodiode applications where the anode does not need to be grounded. Similarly, this bias voltage is easily accounted for in generating IREF. The output of the logarithmic front-end is available at pin VLOG.
