Demonstration circuit SCP-ADP5070-EVALZ is a dual out-put DC-DC converter designed to create a dual polarity regulated voltage for powering several signal chains. The positive regulator provides 15V/1A of output while the negative regulator delivers –15V/300mA.

The application circuit requires a minimumof external components and operates from a single 2.5 V to 5.5 Vsupply. It is capable of delivering 3 W of continuous output powerwith 103 dB.Spread-spectrum pulse density modulation is used to providelower EMI-radiated emissions compared with other Class-Darchitectures.The SSM2315 has a micropower shutdown mode with a typicalshutdown current of 20 nA. Shutdown is enabled by applyinga logic low to the SD pin.The device also includes pop-and-click suppression circuitry.This suppression circuitry minimizes voltage glitches at theoutput during turn-on and turn-off, reducing audible noiseon activation and deactivation.The fully differential input of the SSM2315 provides excellentrejection of common-mode noise on the input. Input couplingcapacitors can be omitted if the dc input common-mode voltageis approximately VDD/2.The default gain of the SSM2315 is 6 dB, but users can reduce thegain by using a pair of external resistors.The SSM2315 is specified over the industrial temperature range of?40?C to +85?C. The ADuCM4050WL EZ-KIT® and ADuCM4050LF EZ-KIT®, Analog Devices, Inc. are an evaluation system for the ADuCM4050 MCU, for the WLCSP and LFCSP packages respectively.
The ADuCM4050 processor is an ultra low-power integrated mixed-signal microcontroller system for processing,
control and connectivity. The MCU system is based on the ARM Cortex-M4F processor. The MCU also has a collection
of digital peripherals, embedded SRAM and flash memory, and an analog subsystem which provides clocking,
reset, and power management capability in addition to an ADC subsystem.
The EZ-KIT contains an array of three connectors that support the ADF7xxx Wireless Transceiver series of daughterboard
products. Refer to ADF7xxx Wireless Transceiver Daughterboard Interface for more information.
The EZ-KIT contains Expansion Interface 3 (EI3) and Arduino interfaces. These interfaces provide connections for daughterboards to expand the functionality of the EZ-KIT. Refer to Expansion Interface 3 and Arduino Interface for more information.

The ADM7172 is a CMOS, low dropout linear regulator (LDO) that operates from 2.3 V to 6.5 V and provides up to 2 A of output current. This high output current LDO is ideal for regulation of high performance analog and mixed-signal circuits operating from 6 V down to 1.2 V rails. Using an advanced proprietary architecture, the device provides high power supply rejection and low noise, and achieves excellent line and load transient response with just a small 4.7 ?F ceramic output capacitor. Load transient response is typically 1.5 ?s for a 1 mA to 1.5 A load step.The ADM7172 is available in 17 fixed output voltage options. The following voltages are available from stock: 1.3 V, 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.0 V, 3.3 V, 4.2 V, and 5.0 V. Additional voltages that are available by special order are: 1.5 V, 1.85 V, 2.0 V, 2.2 V, 2.7 V, 2.75 V, 2.8 V, 2.85 V, 3.8 V, and 4.6 V. An adjustable version is also available that allows output voltages that range from 1.2 V to VIN ? VDO with an external feedback divider.Inrush current can be controlled by adjusting the start-up time via the soft start pin. The typical start-up time with a 1 nF soft start capacitor is 1.0 ms.The ADM7172 regulator output noise is 5 ?V rms, independent of the output voltage.
