Demonstration circuit SCP-LT1956-IEVALZ is a 48V, 1.5A buck regulator configured as an inverting buck topology for positive to negative DC voltage conversion. This board has ample current output to drive multiple signal chains. Like all boards in the Signal Chain Power series, this board is designed to be easily plugged into other SCP boards to form a complete signal chain power system, enabling fast evaluation of low power signal chains. The converter generates –15V at 8mA to 40mA from a 2.7–12V input using a dual coupled inductor in an inverting flyback topology. The SSM2315 is a fully integrated, high efficiency, Class-D audioamplifier. It is designed to maximize performance for mobilephone applications. The application circuit requires a minimumof external components and operates from a single 2.5 V to 5.5 Vsupply. It is capable of delivering 3 W of continuous output powerwith 103 dB.Spread-spectrum pulse density modulation is used to providelower EMI-radiated emissions compared with other Class-Darchitectures.The SSM2315 has a micropower shutdown mode with a typicalshutdown current of 20 nA. Shutdown is enabled by applyinga logic low to the SD pin.The device also includes pop-and-click suppression circuitry.This suppression circuitry minimizes voltage glitches at theoutput during turn-on and turn-off, reducing audible noiseon activation and deactivation.The fully differential input of the SSM2315 provides excellentrejection of common-mode noise on the input. Input couplingcapacitors can be omitted if the dc input common-mode voltageis approximately VDD/2.The default gain of the SSM2315 is 6 dB, but users can reduce thegain by using a pair of external resistors.The SSM2315 is specified over the industrial temperature range of?40?C to +85?C. The LTC2356-12/LTC2356-14 are 12-bit/14-bit, 3.5Msps serial ADCs with differential inputs. The devices draw only 5.5mA from a single 3.3V supply and come in a tiny 10-lead MSOP package. A Sleep shutdown feature further reduces power consumption to 13?W. The combination of speed, low power and tiny package makes the LTC2356-12/LTC2356-14 suitable for high speed, portable applications.The 80dB common mode rejection allows users to eliminate ground loops and common mode noise by measuring signals differentially from the source.The devices convert ?1.25V to 1.25V bipolar inputs differentially. The absolute voltage swing for AIN+ and AIN? extends from ground to the supply voltage.The serial interface sends out the conversion results during the 16 clock cycles following a CONV rising edge for compatibility with standard serial interfaces. If two additional clock cycles for acquisition time are allowed after the data stream in between conversions, the full sampling rate of 3.5Msps can be achieved with a 63MHz clock.
