The LTC3370 is a highly flexible multioutput power supply IC. The device includes four synchronous buck converters, configured to share eight 1A power stages, each of which is powered from independent 2.25V to 5.5V inputs.The DC/DCs are assigned to one of eight power configurations via pin programmable C1-C3 pins. The common buck switching frequency may be programmed with an external resistor, synchronized to an external oscillator, or set to a default internal 2MHz clock.The operating mode for all DC/DCs may be programmed via the PLL/MODE pin for Burst Mode or forced continuous mode operation. A PGOODALL output indicates when all enabled DC/DCs are within a specified percentage of their final output value.To reduce input noise, the buck converters are phased in 90? steps. Precision enable pin thresholds facilitate reliable power-up sequencing. The controller operates in redundant supply circuits, where each rail has an individual ideal diode, and the outputs are connected to the load through a single Hot Swap circuit. The controller enables monitoring of the load current by providing a signal that is 100× the sense resistor voltage.

Demonstration circuit 2322A is designed for evaluation of the LTC5576 active upconverting mixer with very wide input bandwidth and low distortion. Its OUT port is optimized for 4GHz to 6GHz applications, but is easily retuned for output frequencies as low as 3GHz, or as high as 8GHz with minor performance degradation. The IN port is optimized for 30MHz to 6GHz operation while the LO port is always 50Ω matched from 1GHz to 8GHz.

The LT3825 is an isolated switching regulator controller designed for medium power flyback topologies. A typical application is 10W to 60W with input voltage limited only by external power path components. A third transformer winding provides output voltage feedback.The LT3825 is a current mode controller that regulates output voltage based on sensing secondary voltage via a transformer winding during flyback. This allows for tight output regulation without the use of an opto-isolator, improving dynamic response and reliability. Synchronous rectification increases converter efficiency and improves output cross regulation in multiple output converters.The LT3825 operates in forced continuous conduction mode which improves cross regulation in multiple winding applications. Switching frequency is user programmable and can be externally synchronized. Demonstration circuit 1807A is a dual output, dual phase synchronous buck converter featuring the LTC3869EUFD. The input voltage range is 4.5V to 14V, output voltages and currents are 1.5V/15A and 1.2V/15A. Two versions of the board are available. DC1807A-A has an on-board sense resistor for current feedback, while the DC1807A-B is configured with a DCR sense circuit that allows the converter to use the inductors DCR as the sense element instead of the on-board sense resistors to save cost and board space and improves efficiency.

To ensure the longest battery life in portableapplications, the ADP2105 / ADP2106 / ADP2107 use a pulsefrequency modulation (PFM) control scheme under light loadconditions that reduces switching frequency to save power.The ADP2105 / ADP2106 / ADP2107 run from input voltages of2.7 V to 5.5 V, allowing single Li+/Li? polymer cell, multiplealkaline/NiMH cells, PCMCIA, and other standard power sources.The output voltage of ADP2105 / ADP2106 / ADP2107 is adjustablefrom 0.8 V to the input voltage (indicated by ADJ), whereas theADP2105 / ADP2106 / ADP2107 are available in preset outputvoltage options of 3.3 V, 1.8 V, 1.5 V, and 1.2 V (indicated by x.x V).Each of these variations is available in three maximum currentlevels: 1 A (ADP2105), 1.5 A (ADP2106), and 2 A (ADP2107).The power switch and synchronous rectifier are integrated forminimal external part count and high efficiency. During logiccontrolled shutdown, the input is disconnected from the output,and it draws less than 0.1 ?A from the input source.
