Demonstration circuit 2046A-E is a PoE powered device (PD) with an isolated power supply using synchronous flyback topology, featuring the LT4276 and ideal diode bridge controller (LT4321).

The AD7366?/ AD7367 are dual 12-bit/14-bit, high speed, low power, successive approximation analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) that feature throughput rates up to 1 MSPS. The device contains two ADCs, each preceded by a 2-channel multiplexer, and a low noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold amplifier.The AD7366 / AD7367 are fabricated on the Analog Devices, Inc., industrial CMOS process (iCMOS), which is a technology platform combining the advantages of low and high voltage CMOS. The iCMOS process allows the AD7366 / AD7367 to accept high voltage bipolar signals in addition to reducing power consumption and package size. The AD7366 / AD7367 can accept true bipolar analog input signals in the ?10 V range, ?5 V range, and 0 V to 10 V range.The AD7366 / AD7367 have an on-chip 2.5 V reference that can be disabled to allow the use of an external reference. If a 3 V reference is applied to the DCAPA and DCAPB pins, the AD7366 / AD7367 can accept a true bipolar ?12 V analog input. Minimum ?12 V VDD and VSS supplies are required for the ?12 V input range.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS The AD7366 / AD7367 can accept true bipolar analog input signals, as well as ?10 V, ?5 V, ?12 V (with external reference), and 0 V to 10 V unipolar signals. The ADGS1208/ADGS1209 are analog multiplexers comprisingeight single channels and four differential channels, respectively. Aserial peripheral interface (SPI) controls the switches. The SPIinterface has robust error detection features, such as cyclicredundancy check (CRC) error detection, invalid read/writeaddress detection, and SCLK count error detection.It is possible to daisy-chain multiple ADGS1208/ADGS1209devices together. Daisy-chain mode enables the configuration ofmultiple devices with a minimal amount of digital lines. TheADGS1208/ADGS1209 can also operate in burst mode todecrease the time between SPI commands.iCMOS? construction ensures ultralow power dissipation,making the devices ideally suited for portable and batterypoweredinstruments.Each switch conducts equally well in both directions when on,and each switch has an input signal range that extends to thesupplies. In the off condition, signal levels up to the suppliesare blocked. The ultralow on capacitance (CON) and exceptionally low chargeinjection (QINJ) of these multiplexers make them ideal solutionsfor data acquisition and sample-and-hold applications, wherelow glitch and fast settling are required.Product Highlights SPI interface removes the need for parallel conversion, logic traces and reduces GPIO channel count. Demonstration circuit DC2448A-D features a PolyPhase® design using the LTM4636-1EY, a 40A high efficiency, switch mode step-down power µModule® regulator with overvoltage and overtemperature protection features. The input voltage range is from 9V to 15V. The output voltage range is 0.6V to 3.3V. The DC2448A-D can deliver a nominal 160A output current. DC2448A-D has on-boardhot swap circuit that can disconnect input supply and protect the LTM4636-1 and the load under overvoltage and overtemperature conditions. As explained in the data sheet, output current derating is necessary for certain VIN, VOUT and thermal conditions. The board operates in continuous conduction mode in heavy load conditions. For high efficiency at low load currents, the MODE_PLLIN jumper selects pulse-skipping mode for noise sensitive applications or Burst Mode® operation in less noise sensitive applications. The MODE_PLLIN pin also allows the LTM4636-1 to synchronize to an external clock signal. DC2448A-D has the option of choosing both internal and external compensation circuits for LTM4636-1. The LTM4636-1 data sheet must be read in conjunction with this demo manual prior to working on or modifying demo circuit DC2448A-D.

The LTC2310-12 is a low noise, high speed 12-bit + sign successive approximation register (SAR) ADC with differential inputs and wide input common mode range. Operating from a single 3.3V or 5V supply, the LTC2310-12 has an 8VP-P differential input range, making it ideal for applications which require a wide dynamic range with high common mode rejection. The LTC2310-12 achieves ?1LSB INL guaranteed, no missing codes at 12 bits and 73dB SNR typical.The LTC2310-12 has an onboard low drift (20ppm/?C max) 2.048V or 4.096V temperature-compensated reference and provides an external 1.25V buffered reference input. The LTC2310-12 also has a high speed SPI-compatible serial interface that supports CMOS or LVDS. The fast 2Msps throughput with no cycle latency makes the LTC2310-12 ideally suited for a wide variety of high speed applications.
