EVAL-ADIN1300FMCZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADIN1300 is a low power, single port, Gigabit Ethernet transceiver with low latency and power consumption specifications primarily designed for industrial Ethernet applications. This design integrates an energy efficient Ethernet (EEE) physical layer device (PHY) core with all associated common analog circuitry, input and output clock buffering, management interface and subsystem registers, and MAC interface and control logic to manage the reset and clock control and pin configuration. The ADIN1300 is available in a 6 mm ? 6 mm, 40-lead lead frame chip scale package (LFCSP). The device operates with a minimum of 2 power supplies, 0.9 V and 3.3 V, assuming the use of a 3.3 V MAC interface supply. For maximum flexibility in system level design, a separate VDDIO supply enables the management data input/output (MDIO) and MAC interface supply voltages to be configured independently of the other circuitry on the ADIN1300, allowing operation at 1.8 V, 2.5 V, or 3.3 V. At power-up, the ADIN1300 is held in hardware reset until each of the supplies has crossed its minimum rising threshold value. Brown-out protection is provided by monitoring the supplies to detect if one or more supply drops below a minimum falling threshold (see Table 17 on the datasheet), and holding the device in hardware reset until the power supplies return and satisfy the power-on reset (POR) circuit. The MII management interface (also referred to as MDIO interface) provides a 2-wire serial interface between a host processor or MAC (also known as management station (STA)) and the ADIN1300, allowing access to control and status information in the PHY core management registers. The interface is compatible with both the IEEE 802.3 Standard Clause 22 and Clause 45 management frame structures. The ADIN1300 can support cable lengths up to 150 meters at Gigabit speeds and 180 meters when operating at 100 Mbps or 10 Mbps.Applications Industrial automation Process control Factory automation Robotics/Motion Control Building automation Test and Measurement Industrial IoT

The EV-21569-SOM module requires the CrossCore® Embedded Studio (CCES) development tools to enable developers to achieve faster time to market. The development environment aids advanced application code development and debug, such as:
Create, compile, assemble, and link application programs written in C++, C, and assembly
Load, run, step, halt, and set breakpoints in application programs
Read and write data and program memory
Read and write core and peripheral registers
When used without the EV-SOMCRR-EZKIT carrier board, the EV-21569-SOM board requires an external in-circuit emulator (ICE-1000 or ICE-2000) be connected to the JTAG header.

LT3950 Demo Board | 60V 1.5A LED Driver with Internal Log-Scale Dimming
Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 2788A is a boost LED driver featuring the LT®3950. This demonstration circuit powers a string of LEDs at 330mA. The step-up topology can be used to drive a string of up to 28V of LEDs as assembled. The maximum output voltage capability of the LT3950 is 60V. DC2788A runs from an input voltage range of 6V to 24V as built. It also runs at 2MHz and has the capability to turn on spread spectrum frequency modulation (SSFM) for a frequency range of 2.0MHz to 2.5MHz. Dimming control can be achieved with analog dimming or PWM dimming—either from an external or internally-generated clock source. DC2788A features undervoltage lockout (UVLO) set at 6.6V with a 1.0V hysteresis for turn-on.
The UVLO voltage, LED current, output voltage range, switching frequency, brightness control, SSFM, and the topology can all be adjusted with simple modifications to
the demonstration circuit.
LT3950 is a monolithic 1.5A peak switch current, 60V LED driver. The guaranteed peak switch current rating of the IC is 1.5A and this is important to know when calculating maximum output current at a given LED voltage and input voltage for a boost converter. The LT3950 features SSFM and a well-controlled SW node for low emissions.
A frequency range of 200kHz to 2MHz and a high-side PWMTG PWM-dimming MOSFET makes this a very versatile IC for many applications. It can be used for boost,
buck-boost mode and buck mode LED driver applications. The PWMTG MOSFET not only provides high PWM dimming ratio capability, but it also serves as a short-circuit
protection device. The FAULT flag indicates when there is either a short-circuit or open-LED fault at the output.
The demo circuit is designed to be easily reconfigured to suit other applications, including the example schematics in the data sheet. Consult technical support for assistance.
High voltage operation, 3V input voltage operation, multiple topologies, small-and-compact size, fault protection, low EMI, and multiple brightness control options make
the LT3950 flexible and powerful for compact, noise-sensitive LED driver solutions. The LT3950JMSE featured on this demo circuit is available in a thermally enhanced
16-lead plastic MSOP package. The LT3950 data sheet must be read in conjunction with this demo manual to properly use or modify demo circuit DC2788A.

LTC7821 Demo Board | 12V, 20A Hybrid Step-Down Synchronous Converter
Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 2513B is a high efficiency, high power density hybrid converter. It can deliver 12V/20A with an input voltage from 36V to 72V. This demo board
features the LTC7821, which uses an architecture that merges soft-switching switched-capacitor topology with a traditional step-down converter to provide superior
efficiency compared to the traditional switching architectures. It offers a high efficiency/high density and cost effective solution for nonisolated intermediate bus applications
in power distribution, datacom and telecom as well as emerging 48V automotive systems.
External MOSFETs switch at a 500kHz fixed frequency for this demo board and can be programmed from 200kHz to 1.5MHz. The LTC7821’s powerful 1Ω N-channel MOSFET gate drivers maximize efficiency and can drive multiple MOSFETs in parallel for higher power applications. Due to its current mode control architecture, multiple LTC7821s can be operated in a parallel, multiphase configuration with excellent current sharing and low output voltage ripple to enable much higher power applications. Other benefits include low EMI emissions due to a soft-switched front end and reduced MOSFET stress.
The LTC7821 design eliminates the inrush current typically associated with switched capacitor circuits by prebalancing the capacitors on start-up. The LTC7821 also
monitors system voltage, current and temperature for faults, and uses a sense resistor for overcurrent protection. It stops switching and pulls the FAULT pin low when
a fault condition occurs. An onboard timer can be set for appropriate restart/retry times.
Additional features include ±1% output voltage accuracy over temperature, a clock output for multiphase operation, a power good output signal, short-circuit protection, monotonic output voltage start-up, optional external reference, undervoltage lockout and internal charge balance circuitry.
The LTC7821 data sheet must be used in conjunction with this demo board manual.
