The ADM7172 is a CMOS, low dropout linear regulator (LDO) that operates from 2.3 V to 6.5 V and provides up to 2 A of output current. This high output current LDO is ideal for regulation of high performance analog and mixed-signal circuits operating from 6 V down to 1.2 V rails. Using an advanced proprietary architecture, the device provides high power supply rejection and low noise, and achieves excellent line and load transient response with just a small 4.7 ?F ceramic output capacitor. Load transient response is typically 1.5 ?s for a 1 mA to 1.5 A load step.The ADM7172 is available in 17 fixed output voltage options. The following voltages are available from stock: 1.3 V, 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.0 V, 3.3 V, 4.2 V, and 5.0 V. Demonstration circuit 1787A is a wide input voltage range SEPIC converter featuring the LT3759 controller. It converts a 2.8V~36V input to a 12V output, with 1A load current capability for VIN ≥ 4V. The converter operates at a 300 kHz nominal switching frequency, with 91% peak efficiency. The DC1787A can be easily modified to generate other output voltages, and can also be optimized for efficiency and size with narrower input voltage ranges.

The AD7280A contains all the functions required for general-purpose monitoring of stacked lithium ion batteries as used in hybrid electric vehicles, battery backup applications, and power tools. The part has multiplexed cell voltage and auxiliary ADC measurement channels for up to six cells of battery management. An internal ?3 ppm reference is provided that allows a cell voltage accuracy of ?1.6 mV. The ADC resolution is 12 bits and allows conversion of up to 48 cells within 7 ?s.The AD7280A operates from just one VDD supply that has a range of 8 V to 30 V (with an absolute maximum rating of 33 V). The Analog Devices, Inc., amplifier mezzanine card (AMC) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) driver evaluates the performance of amplifiers in 8-lead, single and dual SOIC, 6-lead single SOT23, 8-lead dual MSOP, and 16-lead LFCSP packages. This add on board can be inserted on ADC evaluation boards using its 7-pin header. Figure 1 shows the AMC mounted on an Analog Devices, Inc., ADC evaluation board. Optimized power and ground planes ensure low noise and high speed operation. Component placement and power supply bypassing are optimized for maximum circuit flexibility and performance. The AMC evaluation board accepts 0402 or 0603 surface mount technology (SMT) components, 1206 bypass capacitors, and 2.54 mm headers. All components are placed on the primary side. No components are placed on the secondary side.
