The LTC3226 is a 2-cell series supercapacitor charger with a backup PowerPath controller. It includes a charge pump supercapacitor charger with programmable output voltage, a low dropout regulator, and a power-fail comparator for switching between normal and backup modes.The constant input current supercapacitor charger is designed to charge two supercapacitors in series to a resistor-programmable output voltage from a 2.5V to 5.3V input supply. The charger input current limit is programmable by an external resistor at up to 315mA.The internal backup LDO is powered from the supercapacitors and provides up to 2A peak output current with an adjustable output voltage. When the input supply falls below the power-fail threshold, the LTC3226 automatically enters a backup state in which the supercapacitors power the output through the LDO. The input supply power-fail voltage level is programmed by an external resistor divider.Low input noise, low quiescent current and a compact footprint make the LTC3226 ideally suited for small, batterypowered applications. Demonstration circuit 1739A-B is a 150W isolated forward converter with synchronous rectification featuring the LTC3765/LTC3766. This circuit demonstrates a high level of performance, efficiency, and small solution size attainable using these parts in an active-clamp-reset forward converter power supply. It operates at 240kHz and produces a regulated 12V, 12.5A output from an input voltage range of 18V to 72V, making it well suited for telecom, industrial, and other applications.

The LT1533 is a new class of switching regulator designed to reduce conducted and radiated electromagnetic interference (EMI). Ultralow noise and EMI are achieved by providing user control of the output switch slew rates. Voltage and current slew rates can be independently programmed to optimize switcher harmonic content versus efficiency. The LT1533 can reduce high frequency harmonic power by as much as 40dB with only minor losses in efficiency. The LT1533 utilizes a dual output switch current mode architecture optimized for low noise topologies. The IC includes two 1A power switches along with all necessary oscillator, control and protection circuitry. Unique error amp circuitry can regulate both positive and negative voltages. The internal oscillator may be synchronized to an external clock for more accurate placement of switching harmonics. Protection features include cycle by cycle current limit protection, undervoltage lockout and thermal shutdown. Low minimum supply voltage and low supply current during shutdown make the LT1533 well suited for portable applications. The part may also be forced into a 50% duty cycle mode for unregulated applications. The LT8610 is a compact, high efficiency, high speed synchronous monolithic step-down switching regulator that consumes only 2.5?A of quiescent current. Top and bottom power switches are included with all necessary circuitry to minimize the need for external components. Low ripple Burst Mode operation enables high efficiency down to very low output currents while keeping the output ripple below 10mVP-P. A SYNC pin allows synchronization to an external clock. Internal compensation with peak current mode topology allows the use of small inductors and results in fast transient response and good loop stability. The EN/UV pin has an accurate 1V threshold and can be used to program VIN undervoltage lockout or to shut down the LT8610 reducing the input supply current to 1?A. A capacitor on the TR/SS pin programs the output voltage ramp rate during start-up. The PG flag signals when VOUT is within ?9% of the programmed output voltage as well as fault conditions. The LT8610 is available in a small 16-lead MSOP package with exposed pad for low thermal resistance. The LTC3880/LTC3880-1 are dual, PolyPhase DC/DC synchronous step-down switching regulator controllers with an I2C-based PMBus compliant serial interface. The controllers use a constant frequency, current mode architecture that is supported by LTpowerPlay? software development tool with graphical user interface (GUI).Switching frequency, output voltage, and device address can be programmed using external configuration resistors. Parameters can be set via the digital interface or stored in EEPROM. Voltage, current, internal/external temperature and fault status can be read back through the bus interface. The AD91661 is a high performance, wideband, on-chip vector signal generator composed of a high speed JESD204B serializer/deserializer (SERDES) interface, a flexible 16-bit digital datapath, a inphase/quadrature (I/Q) digital-to-analog converter (DAC) core, and an integrated differential to single-ended outputbuffer amplifier, matched to a 50 ? load up to 10 GHz.The DAC core is based on a quad-switch architecture, which is configurable to increase the effective DAC core update rate of up to 12.8 GSPS from a 6.4 GHz DAC sampling clock, with an analog output bandwidth of true dc to 9.0 GHz, typically. The digital datapath includes multiple interpolation filter stages, a direct digital synthesizer (DDS) block with multiple numerically controlled oscillators (NCOs) supporting fast frequency hopping (FFH), and additional FIR85 and inverse sinc filter stages to allow flexible spectrum planning.The differential to single-ended buffer eliminates the need for a wideband balun, and supports the full analog output bandwidth of the DAC core.
