The ADA4945-1 is a low noise, low distortion, fully differential amplifier with two selectable power modes. The device operates over a broad power supply range of 3 V to 10 V. The low dc offset, dc offset drift, and excellent dynamic performance of the ADA4945-1 makes it well suited for a variety of data acquisition and signal processing applications. The device is an ideal choice for driving high resolution, high performance successive approximation register (SAR) and ?-? analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) on 4 mA of quiescent current (full power mode). The device can also be selected to operate on 1.4 mA of quiescent current (low power mode) to scale the power consumption to the desired performance necessary for an ADC drive application. The adjustable common-mode voltage allows the ADA4945-1 to match the input common-mode voltage of multiple ADCs. The internal common-mode feedback loop provides exceptional output balance, as well as suppression of even order harmonic distortion products.With the ADA4945-1, differential gain configurations are achieved with a simple external feedback network of four resistors determining the closed-loop gain of the amplifier. The ADA4945-1 is fabricated using Analog Devices, Inc., proprietary, silicon germanium (SiGe), complementary bipolar process, enabling the device to achieve low levels of distortion with an input voltage noise of only 1.8 nV/?Hz (full power mode).The ADA4945-1 is available in a RoHS-complaint, 3 mm ? 3 mm, 16-lead LFCSP. This demo circuit is configured to deliver a 5.0V output from an input voltage between 6.0V to 40V at a switching frequency of 2MHz. The wide input range of the LTM8003 allows a variety of input sources such as automotive batteries and industrial supplies. Under light load conditions, the available Burst Mode® operation supports high efficiency with low output ripple.

The LTC4066/LTC4066-1 are USB power managers and Li-Ion battery chargers designed to work in portable battery-powered applications. The parts control the total current used by the USB peripheral for operation and battery charging. The total input current can be limited to 100mA, 500mA or ?unlimited? (i.e., above 2A). Battery charge current is automatically reduced such that the sum of the load current and the charge current does not exceed the programmed input current limit.The LTC4066/LTC4066-1 include a standalone constant-current / constant-voltage linear charger for single cell Li-ion batteries. The ?oat voltage applied to the battery is held to a tight 0.8% tolerance, and charge current is programmable using an external resistor to ground. A programmable end-of-charge status output (CHRG) indicates full charge. BAT pin charge and discharge currents can be monitored via an analog output (ISTAT). Total charge time is programmable by an external capacitor to ground. When the battery drops 100mV below the ?oat voltage, automatic recharging of the battery occurs. Also featured is an NTC thermistor input used to monitor battery temperature while charging.The LTC4066/LTC4066-1 are available in a 24-pin thin pro?le (0.75mm) 4mm x 4mm QFN package. The ADP1974 is a constant frequency, voltage mode, synchronous, pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller for bidirectional dc-to-dc applications. The ADP1974 is designed for use in battery testing, formation, and conditioning applications with an external, high voltage field effect transistor (FET) half bridge driver, and an external control device such as the AD8450/AD8451. The device operates as a buck converter in battery charge mode and as a boost converter in discharge mode to recycle energy to the input bus.The ADP1974 high voltage VIN supply pin can withstand a maximum operating voltage of 60 V and reduces the need for additional system supply voltages. The ADP1974 has integrated features such as precision enable, internal and external synchronization control with programmable phase shift, programmable maximum duty cycle, dead time control, and peak hiccup current-limit protection. Additional protection features include soft start to limit input inrush current during startup, precision enable, and thermal shutdown (TSD). The ADP1974 also has a COMP pin to provide external control of the PWM duty cycle and a FAULT pin that can disable the DH and DL outputs. When used in conjunction with the LTC3765 active-clamp forward controller and gate driver, the part creates a complete isolated power supply that combines the power of multiphase operation with the speed of secondary-side control.The LTC3766 has been designed to simplify the design of active clamp forward converters. Working in concert with the LTC3765, the LTC3766 forms a robust, self-starting converter that eliminates the need for the separate bias regulator that is commonly used in secondary-side control applications. The AD8224 is the first single-supply, JFET input instrumentation amplifier available in the space-saving 16-lead, 4 mm ? 4 mm LFCSP. It requires the same board area as a typical single instrumentation amplifier yet doubles the channel density and offers a lower cost per channel without compromising performance.Designed to meet the needs of high performance, portable instrumentation, the AD8224 has a minimum common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 86 dB at dc and a minimum CMRR of 80 dB at 10 kHz for G = 1. Maximum input bias current is 10 pA and typically remains below 300 pA over the entire industrial temperature range. Despite the JFET inputs, the AD8224 typically has a noise corner of only 10 Hz.With the proliferation of mixed-signal processing, the number of power supplies required in each system has grown.Designed to alleviate this problem, the AD8224 can operate on a ?18 V dual supply, as well as on a single +5 V supply. The device?s rail-to-rail output stage maximizes dynamic range on the low voltage supplies common in portable applications. Its ability to run on a single 5 V supply eliminates the need for higher voltage, dual supplies. The AD8224 draws 750 ?A of quiescent current per amplifier, making it ideal for battery powered devices.In addition, the AD8224 can be configured as a single-channel, differential output, instrumentation amplifier. Differential outputs provide high noise immunity, which can be useful when the output signal must travel through a noisy environment, such as with remote sensors.
