The ADP1051 is an advanced digital controller with a PMBus? interface targeting high density, high efficiency dc-to-dc power conversion. This controller implements voltage mode control with high speed, input line feedforward for enhanced transient and improved noise performance. The ADP1051 has six programmable pulse-width modulation (PWM) outputs capable of controlling most high efficiency power supply topologies, with added control of synchronous rectification (SR). The device includes adaptive dead time compensation to improve efficiency over the load range, and programmable light load mode operation, combined with low power consumption, to reduce system standby power losses.The ADP1051 implements several features to enable a robust system of parallel and redundant operation for customers that require high availability or parallel connection. The LTC2000 is a family of 16-/14-/11-bit 2.5Gsps current steering DACs with exceptional spectral purity.The single (1.25Gsps mode) or dual (2.5Gsps mode) port source synchronous LVDS interface supports data rates of up to 1.25Gbps using a 625MHz DDR data clock, which can be either in quadrature or in phase with the data. Demonstration circuit 1812A-C features the LTC2943-1. The LTC2943-1 has an operating range of 3.6V to 20V making it perfectly suited for multicell battery applications. A precision analog coulomb counter integrates current measured through the internal sense resistor. The LTC2943-1 measures voltage, current and temperature with an internal 14-bit No Latency ΔΣ™ ADC. The measurements are stored in internal registers accessible via the onboard SMBus/I2C interface.

The ADP5054 combines four high performance buck regulators in a 48-lead LFCSP package that meets demanding performance and board space requirements. The device enables direct connection to high input voltages of up to 15.5 V with no preregulators.Channel 1 and Channel 2 integrate high-side power metal-oxide semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFETs) and low-side MOSFET drivers. External NFETs can be used in low-side power devices to achieve an efficiency optimized solution and to deliver a programmable output current of 2 A, 4 A, or 6 A. Combining Channel 1 and Channel 2 in a parallel configuration provides a single output with up to 12 A of current.Channel 3 and Channel 4 integrate both high-side and low-side MOSFETs to deliver an output current of 2.5 A. Combining Channel 3 and Channel 4 in a parallel configuration can provide a single output with up to 5 A of current.The switching frequency of the ADP5054 can be programmed or synchronized to an external clock from 250 kHz to 2 MHz, and an individual ?? frequency configuration is available for each channel.The ADP5054 contains an individual precision enable pin on each channel for easy power-up sequencing. The ADM1178 is an integrated hot swap controller and current sense amplifier that offers digital current and voltage monitoring via an on-chip 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC), communicated through an I2C? interface.An internal current sense amplifier measures voltage across the sense resistor in the power path via the VCC pin and the SENSE pin.The ADM1178 limits the current through this resistor by control-ling the gate voltage (via the GATE pin) of an external N-channel FET in the power path. The voltage across the sense resistor (and therefore the inrush current) is kept below a preset maximum.The ADM1178 protects the external FET by limiting the time that the maximum current runs through it. This current limit period is set by the value of the capacitor attached to the TIMER pin. Additionally, the device provides protection from overcurrent events that may occur after the hot swap event is complete. In case of a short-circuit event, the current in the sense resistor exceeds an overcurrent trip threshold, and the FET is switched off immediately by pulling down the GATE pin.A 12-bit ADC can measure the current seen in the sense resistor, as well as the supply voltage on the VCC pin. An alert output can be set to trigger when the ADC current reading exceeds a programmed overcurrent limit threshold.An industry-standard I2C interface allows a controller to read current and voltage data from the ADC. Measurements can be initiated by an I2C command. Alternatively, the ADC can run continuously, and the user can read the latest conversion data whenever it is required. Demonstration Circuit 3001A-B showcases the LTC4451 ideal diode controller with an integrated low RDS(ON) MOSFET. The board includes two independent LTC4451 ideal diodes sharing a common ground and operates over a range of 0V to 40V, carrying up to 8A at 25°C ambient temperature. The board can be set up in a diode-OR configuration by connecting the output channels together. NOTE: Although the DC3001A-B can carry 8A at 25°C, the LTC4451 is designed for a max current of 7A across –40°C to 125°C. Please follow the data sheet recommendations to design your application across the operating temperature range.
