The LTC3862-2 is a two-phase constant frequency, current mode boost and SEPIC controller that drives N-channel power MOSFETs. Two-phase operation reduces system filtering capacitance and inductance requirements.The operating frequency can be set with an external resistor over a 75kHz to 500kHz range and can be synchronized to an external clock using the internal PLL. Multiphase operation is possible using the SYNC input, the CLKOUT output and the PHASEMODE control pin allowing 2-, 3-, 4-, 6- or 12-phase operation.Other features include an internal 10V LDO with undervoltage lockout protection for the gate drivers, a precision RUN pin threshold with programmable hysteresis, soft-start and programmable leading edge blanking and maximum duty cycle. The LTC1625 is a synchronous step-down switching regulator controller that drives external N-Channel power MOSFETs using few external components. Current mode control with MOSFET VDS sensing eliminates the need for a sense resistor and improves efficiency. The frequency of a nominal 150kHz internal oscillator can be synchronized to an external clock over a 1.5:1 frequency range.Burst Mode? operation at low load currents reduces switching losses and low dropout operation extends operating time in battery-powered systems. A forced continuous mode control pin can assist secondary winding regulation by disabling Burst Mode operation when the main output is lightly loaded.Fault protection is provided by foldback current limiting and an output overvoltage comparator. An external capacitor attached to the RUN/SS pin provides soft start capability for supply sequencing. The LT8310 is a simple-to-use resonant reset forward converter controller that drives the gate of a low side N-channel MOSFET from an internally regulated 10V supply. The LT8310 features duty mode control that generates a stable, regulated, isolated output using a single power transformer. With the addition of output voltage feedback, via opto-coupler (isolated) or directly wired (nonisolated), current mode regulation is activated, improving output accuracy and load response. The flexibility to choose transformer turns ratio makes high step-down or step-up ratios possible without operating at duty cycle extremes.The user can program the switching frequency from 100kHz to 500kHz to optimize efficiency, performance or external component size. A synchronous output is available for controlling secondary side synchronous rectification to improve efficiency. User programmable protection features include monitors on input voltage (UVLO and OVLO) and switch current (overcurrent limit). The AD9559 generates an output clock synchronized to up to four external input references. The AD9572 provides a multioutput clock generator function along with two on-chip PLL cores, optimized for fiber channel line card applications that include an Ethernet interface. The integer-N PLL design is based on the Analog Devices, Inc., proven portfolio of high performance, low jitter frequencysynthesizers to maximize network performance. Other applications with demanding phase noise and jitter requirements also benefit from this part. The PLL section consists of a low noise phase frequency detector (PFD), a precision charge pump (CP), a low phase noise voltage controlled oscillator (VCO), and a preprogrammed feedback divider and output divider. By connecting an external crystal or reference clock to the REFCLK pin, frequencies up to 156.25 MHz can be locked to the input reference. Each output divider and feedback divider ratio is preprogrammed for therequired output rates. A second PLL also operates as an integer-N synthesizer anddrives two LVPECL or LVDS output buffers for 106.25 MHzoperation.
