The ADN4620/ADN4621 are dual-channel, signal isolated, low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) buffers that operate at up to 2.5 Gbps with very low jitter. The devices integrate Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler? technology, enhanced for high speed operation to provide drop-in galvanic isolation of LVDS signal chains. AC coupling and/or level shifting to the LVDS receivers and from the LVDS drivers allows isolation of other high speed signals, such as current mode logic (CML).The ADN4620/ADN4621 include a refresh mechanism to monitor the input and output states and ensure that they remain the same in the absence of data transitions (for example, at power-on). For lower power consumption and high speed operation with low jitter, the isolator circuits rely on 1.8 V supplies, while 3.3 V supplies are used for LVDS receivers to support the full common-mode range with an input voltage range (input common mode plus differential input voltage) of 0 V to 2.4 V per Table 2 in the data sheet. The devices are fully specified over a wide industrial temperature range and are available in a compact SSOP package with 5.3 mm creepage (for reinforced insulation at ac mains voltages).APPLICATIONS Analog front-end isolation Data plane isolation Isolated high speed clock and data links Multigigabit serialization/deserialization (SERDES) PCB-to-PCB optical replacement (for example, short reach fiber)Protected by U.S. Patents 7,075,329; 9,941,565; and 10,205,442. AD8319-EVALZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8319 is a demodulating logarithmic amplifier, capable of accurately converting an RF input signal to a corresponding decibel-scaled output. It employs the progressive compression technique over a cascaded amplifier chain, each stage of which is equipped with a detector cell. The device can be used in either measurement or controller modes. The AD8319 maintains accurate log conformance for signals of 1 MHz to 8 GHz and provides useful operation to 10 GHz. The input dynamic range is typically 40 dB (re: 50 ?) with error less than ?1 dB. The AD8319 has 8 ns/10 ns response time (fall time/rise time) that enables RF burst detection to a pulse rate of beyond 50 MHz. The device provides unprecedented logarithmic intercept stability vs. ambient temperature conditions. A supply of 3.0 V to 5.5 V is required to power the device. Current consumption is typically 22 mA, and it decreases to 200 ?A when the device is disabled.?The AD8319 can be configured to provide a control voltage to a power amplifier or a measurement output from the VOUT pin. Because the output can be used for controller applications, special attention was paid to minimize wideband noise. In this mode, the setpoint control voltage is applied to the VSET pin.The feedback loop through an RF amplifier is closed via VOUT, the output of which regulates the amplifier?s output to a magnitude corresponding to VSET. The AD8319 provides 0 V to (VPOS ? 0.1 V) output capability at the VOUT pin, suitable for controller applications. As a measurement device, VOUT is externally connected to VSET to produce an output voltage, VOUT, that is a decreasing linear-in-dB function of the RF input signal amplitude. The logarithmic slope is ?22 mV/dB, determined by the VSET interface. The intercept is 15 dBm (re: 50 ?, CW input) using the INHI input. These parameters are very stable against supply and temperature variations. The AD8319 is fabricated on a SiGe bipolar IC process and is available in a 2 mm ? 3 mm, 8-lead LFCSP_VD for an operating temperature range of ?40?C to +85?C.ApplicationsRF transmitter PA setpoint controls and level monitoring Power monitoring in radiolink transmitters RSSI measurement in base stations, WLANs, WiMAX, and radars

The LT8650S is a dual step-down regulator that delivers up to 4A of continuous current from both channels and supports loads up to 6A from each channel. The LT8650S features the second generation Silent Switcher architecture to minimize EMI emissions while delivering high efficiency at high switching frequencies. This includes integration of bypass capacitors to optimize high frequency current loops and make it easy to achieve advertised EMI performance by eliminating layout sensitivity. The fast, clean, low-overshoot switching edges enable high efficiency operation even at high switching frequencies, leading to a small overall solution size. Peak current mode control with a 40ns minimum on-time allows high step down ratios at high switching frequencies.Burst Mode operation features a 6.2?A quiescent current resulting in high efficiency at low output currents, forced continuous mode allows fixed switching frequency operation over the entire output load range, and spread spectrum operation can further reduce EMI emissions. External VC pins allow optimal loop compensation for fast transient response. The VC pins can also be used for current sharing and the CLKOUT pin enables synchronizing two LT8650S chips to generate a 4-phase, 16A supply.APPLICATIONS General Purpose Step-Down Automotive and Industrial Supplies

The LT1317/LT1317B are micropower, fixed frequency step-up DC/DC converters that operate over a wide input voltage range of 1.5V to 12V. The LT1317 features automatic shifting to power saving Burst Mode? operation at light loads. High efficiency is maintained over a broad 300?A to 200mA load range. Peak switch current during Burst Mode operation is kept below 250mA for most operating conditions which results in low output ripple voltage, even at high input voltages. The LT1317B does not shift into Burst Mode operation at light loads, eliminating low frequency output ripple at the expense of light load efficiency. The LT1317/LT1317B contain an internal low-battery detector with a 200mV reference that stays alive when the device goes into shutdown.No-load quiescent current of the LT1317 is 100?A and shuts down to 30?A. The internal NPN power switch handles a 500mA current with a voltage drop of just 300mV.The LT1317/LT1317B are available in MS8 and SO-8 packages.Applications Cellular Telephones Cordless Telephones Pagers GPS Receivers Battery Backup Portable Electronic Equipment Glucose Meters Diagnostic Medical Instrumentation
