AD9287-100EBZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD9287 is a quad, 8-bit, 100 MSPS analog-to-digital con-verter (ADC) with an on-chip sample-and-hold circuit designedfor low cost, low power, small size, and ease of use. The productoperates at a conversion rate of up to 100 MSPS and is optimized for outstanding dynamic performance and low power in applications where a small package size is critical. The ADC requires a single 1.8 V power supply and LVPECL-/ CMOS-/LVDS-compatible sample rate clock for full performanceoperation. No external reference or driver components arerequired for many applications. The ADC automatically multiplies the sample rate clock for theappropriate LVDS serial data rate. A data clock output (DCO) for capturing data on the output and a frame clock output (FCO) for signaling a new output byte are provided. Individual-channel power-down is supported and typically consumes less than 2 mW when all channels are disabled. The ADC contains several features designed to maximizeflexibility and minimize system cost, such as programmableclock and data alignment and programmable digital test patterngeneration. The available digital test patterns include built-in deterministic and pseudorandom patterns, along with custom user-defined test patterns entered via the serial port interface (SPI).The AD9287 is available in an RoHS compliant, 48-lead LFCSP. It isspecified over the industrial temperature range of ?40?C to +85?C.Product Highlights Small Footprint. Four ADCs are contained in a small, space-saving package. Low power of 133 mW/channel at 100 MSPS. Ease of Use. A data clock output (DCO) is provided that operates at frequencies of up to 400 MHz and supports double data rate (DDR) operation. User Flexibility. The SPI control offers a wide range of flexible features to meet specific system requirements. Pin-Compatible Family. This includes the AD9219 (10-bit), AD9228 (12-bit), and AD9259 (14-bit).ApplicationsMedical imaging and nondestructive ultrasoundPortable ultrasound and digital beam-forming systemsQuadrature radio receiversDiversity radio receiversTape drivesOptical networkingTest equipment

AD9512/PCBZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD9512 provides a multi-output clock distribution function for input signals up to 1.6 GHz. The design emphasizes low jitter and low phase noise in order to maximize data converter clocking performance. Three independent LVPECL and two LVDS clock outputs operate to 1.2 GHz and 800 MHz respectively. Optional CMOS clock outputs available to 250 MHz. Each output has a programmable divider, which may be bypassed or set to divide by any integer up to 32.Each divider allows the user to change the phase of one clock output relative to another clock output. This phase select functions as a coarse timing adjustment. One output also features a programmable delay element with a user-selected, fullscale range to 10 ns. This fine tuning delay block is programmed with a 5-bit word, which gives the user 32 possible delays from which to choose. The AD9512 is ideally suited for data converter clocking applications where maximum converter performance is achieved with sub-picosecond jitter encode signals. The AD9512 is available in a 48-lead LFCSP and is specified from -40?C to +85?C. The part may be run from a single 3.3 V supply. ApplicationsLow jitter, low phase noise clock distribution Clocking high speed ADCs, DACs, DDS, DDC, DUC, MxFE? The LT1965 series are low noise, low dropout linear regulators. The devices supply 1.1A of output current with a 310mV typical dropout voltage. Operating quiescent current is 500?A for the adjustable version, reducing to <1?A in shutdown. Quiescent current is well controlled; it does not rise in dropout as with many other regulators. The LT1965 regulators have very low output noise which makes them ideal for sensitive RF and DSP supply applications.Output voltage ranges from 1.20V to 19.5V. The LT1965 regulators are stable with output capacitors as low as 10?F. Internal protection circuitry includes reverse-battery protection, current limiting with foldback, thermal limiting and reverse-current protection. The LT1965 series are available in fixed output voltages of 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and as an adjustable device with a 1.20V reference voltage. The package offerings include the 5-lead TO-220, 5-lead DD-Pak as well as the thermally enhanced 8-lead MSOP and low profile (0.75mm) 8-lead 3mm ? 3mm DFN.Applications Logic Power Supplies Post Regulator for Switching Supplies Low Noise Instrumentation

Demonstration circuit DC1180 is a dual output regulator consisting of two identical constant frequency step-down converters, based on the LTC3407A monolithic dual synchronous buck regulator in the 3 × 3 DFN-10 package. The LTC3407A is similar to the LTC3407 but has a lower ripple Burst Mode operation and includes an optional external soft-start. The DC1180 has an input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V, and either output is capable of delivering up to 600mA of output current. In Burst Mode® operation, the DC supply current is typically only 25 µA (per channel) at no load, and less than 1 µA in shutdown. The DC1180 is a very efficient circuit: up to 96% for either circuit.

The LTC3850 is a high performance dual synchronous step-down switching regulator controller that drives all N-channel power MOSFET stages. A constant-frequency current mode architecture allows a phase-lockable frequency of up to 780kHz. Power loss and supply noise are minimized by operating the two controller output stages out of phase.OPTI-LOOP? compensation allows the transient response to be optimized over a wide range of output capacitance and ESR values. The LTC3850 features a precision 0.8V reference and a power good output indicator. A wide 4V to 24V (28V maximum/30V for LTC3850I) input supply range encompasses most battery chemistries and intermediate bus voltages.Independent TK/SS pins for each controller ramp the output voltages during start-up. Current foldback limits MOSFET heat dissipation during short-circuit conditions. The MODE/PLLIN pin selects among Burst Mode? operation, pulse-skipping mode, or continuous inductor current mode and allows the IC to be synchronized to an external clock. The LTC3850 is available in low profile 28-pin 4mm ? 4mm, 4mm ? 5mm QFN and narrow SSOP packages.
