The LTC3226 is a 2-cell series supercapacitor charger with a backup PowerPath controller. It includes a charge pump supercapacitor charger with programmable output voltage, a low dropout regulator, and a power-fail comparator for switching between normal and backup modes.The constant input current supercapacitor charger is designed to charge two supercapacitors in series to a resistor-programmable output voltage from a 2.5V to 5.3V input supply. The charger input current limit is programmable by an external resistor at up to 315mA.The internal backup LDO is powered from the supercapacitors and provides up to 2A peak output current with an adjustable output voltage. When the input supply falls below the power-fail threshold, the LTC3226 automatically enters a backup state in which the supercapacitors power the output through the LDO. The input supply power-fail voltage level is programmed by an external resistor divider.Low input noise, low quiescent current and a compact footprint make the LTC3226 ideally suited for small, batterypowered applications. Demonstration Circuit DC1702A is a Li-Ion/Polymer Shunt Battery Charger system with Low Battery Disconnect featuring the LTC4071EDDB. The LTC4071 allows simple charging of Li-Ion/Polymer batteries from very low current, intermittent or continuous charging sources. The DC1702 provides up to 50mA of output current at 4.1V from a 10V to 16V input supply. A near-zero current low battery latching disconnect function protects even the lowest capacity batteries from deep discharge and potentially irreparable damage. The 550nA to 50mA operating current makes charging possible from previously unusable sources. With its low operating current the LTC4071 is well suited to charge low capacity Li-Ion or thin film batteries in energy harvesting applications.

The LTC2636 is a family of octal 12-, 10-, and 8-bit voltage-output DACs with an integrated, high-accuracy, low-drift 10ppm/?C reference in 14-lead DFN and 16-lead MSOP packages. It has a rail-to-rail output buffer and is guaranteed monotonic. The LTC2636-L has a full-scale output of 2.5V, and operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply. Each DAC can also operate with an external reference, which sets the DAC full-scale output to the external reference voltage.These DACs communicate via an SPI/MICROWIRE-compatible 3-wire serial interface which operates at clock rates up to 50MHz. The ADM3055E/ADM3057E are 5 kV rms and 3 kV rms isolated controller area network (CAN) physical layer transceivers with integrated isolated dc-to-dc converters. The ADM3055E/ADM3057E meet flexible data rate (CAN FD) requirements for operation to 5 Mbps and higher and comply with the ISO 11898-2: 2016 standard. The ADM3055E/ADM3057E are capable of supporting data rates as high as 12 Mbps.The devices employ Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler? technology to combine a 3-channel isolator, a CAN transceiver, and an Analog Devices isoPower? dc-to-dc converter into a single, surface-mount, small outline integrated circuit (SOIC) package. The devices are powered by a single 5 V supply, realizing a fully isolated solution for CAN and CAN FD. Radiated emissions from the high frequency switching of the dc-to-dc convertors are kept below EN 55022 Class B limits by continuous adjustments to the switching frequency.The ADM3055E/ADM3057E provide complete isolation between the CAN controller and physical layer bus. Safety and regulatory approvals (pending) for 5 kV rms isolation voltage, 10 kV surge test, and 8.3 mm creepage and clearance ensure the ADM3055E meets application reinforced isolation requirements. The ADM3057E has an isolation voltage of 3 kV rms and 7.8 mm creepage in a 20-lead, wide body SOIC.Low propagation delays through the isolation support longer bus cables. Slope control mode is available for standard CAN at low data rates. Standby mode minimizes power consumption when the bus is idle or if the node goes offline. Silent mode allows the TXD input to be ignored for listen only mode.Dominant timeout functionality protects against bus lock up in a fault condition. The current limiting and thermal shutdown features protect against output short circuits. The AD6688-3000EBZ supports the AD6688-3000, a 14-bit, 3GSPS dual analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The device has an on-chip buffer and a sample-and-hold circuit designed for low power, small size, and ease of use. This device is designed support direct RF sampling analog signals of up to 5 GHz. The 3 dB bandwidth of the ADC input is greater than 9 GHz. The AD6688 is optimized for wide input bandwidth, high sampling rate, excellent linearity, and low power in a small package. This reference design provides all of the support circuitry required to operate the ADC in its various modes and configurations. It is designed to interface directly with the ADS7-V2EBZ data capture card, allowing users to download captured data for analysis. The device control and subsequent data analyses can now be done using the ACE software package.

The LTC4066/LTC4066-1 are USB power managers and Li-Ion battery chargers designed to work in portable battery-powered applications. The parts control the total current used by the USB peripheral for operation and battery charging. The total input current can be limited to 100mA, 500mA or ?unlimited? (i.e., above 2A). Battery charge current is automatically reduced such that the sum of the load current and the charge current does not exceed the programmed input current limit.The LTC4066/LTC4066-1 include a standalone constant-current / constant-voltage linear charger for single cell Li-ion batteries. The ?oat voltage applied to the battery is held to a tight 0.8% tolerance, and charge current is programmable using an external resistor to ground. A programmable end-of-charge status output (CHRG) indicates full charge. BAT pin charge and discharge currents can be monitored via an analog output (ISTAT). Total charge time is programmable by an external capacitor to ground. When the battery drops 100mV below the ?oat voltage, automatic recharging of the battery occurs. Also featured is an NTC thermistor input used to monitor battery temperature while charging.The LTC4066/LTC4066-1 are available in a 24-pin thin pro?le (0.75mm) 4mm x 4mm QFN package. The LT5506 is a 40MHz to 500MHz monolithic integrated quadrature demodulator with variable gain amplifier (VGA), designed for low voltage operation. It supports standards that use a linear modulation format. The chip consists of a VGA, quadrature down-converting mixers and lowpass noise filters. The LO port consists of a divide-by-two stage and LO buffers. The IC provides all building blocks for IF down-conversion to I and Q baseband signals with a single supply voltage of 1.8V to 5.25V. The VGA gain has a linear-in- dB relationship to the control input voltage. Hard-clipping amplifiers at the mixer outputs reduce the recovery time from a signal overload condition. The lowpass filters reduce the out-of-band noise and spurious frequency components. The cut-off frequency of the noise filters is approximately 8.8MHz. The external 2xLO frequency is required to be twice the IF input frequency for the mixers.
