The LTC2631 is a family of 12-, 10-, and 8-bit voltage-output DACs with an integrated, high accuracy, low-drift reference in an 8-lead TSOT-23 package. It has a rail-to-rail output buffer that is guaranteed monotonic. The LTC2631-L has a full-scale output of 2.5V, and operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply. The LTC2631-H has a full-scale output of 4.096V, and operates from a 4.5V to 5.5V supply. A 10ppm/?C reference output is available at the REF pin. Each DAC can also operate in External Reference mode, in which a voltage supplied to the REF pin sets the fullscale output. The LTC2631 DACs use a 2-wire, I2C-compatible serial interface. The LTC2631 operates in both the standard mode (clock rate of 100kHz) and the fast mode (clock rate of 400kHz).The LTC2631 incorporates a power-on reset circuit. Options are available for reset to zero-scale or reset to mid-scale after power-up.Applications Mobile Communications Process Control and Industrial Automation Automatic Test Equipment Portable Equipment Automotive Optical Networking

ADP2108-1.5-EVALZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADP2108 is a high efficiency, low quiescent current step-down dc-to-dc converter manufactured in two different packages. The total solution requires only three tiny external components. It uses a proprietary, high speed current mode, constant frequency PWM control scheme for excellent stability and transient response. To ensure the longest battery life in portable applications, the ADP2108 has a power save mode that reduces the switching frequency under light load conditions. The ADP2108 runs on input voltages of 2.3 V to 5.5 V, which allows for single lithium or lithium polymer cell, multiple alkaline or NiMH cell, PCMCIA, USB, and other standard power sources. The maximum load current of 600 mA is achievable across the input voltage range. The ADP2108 is available in fixed output voltages of 3.3 V, 3.0 V, 2.5 V, 2.3 V, 1.82 V, 1.8 V, 1.5 V, 1.3 V, 1.2 V, 1.1 V, and 1.0 V. All versions include an internal power switch and synchronous rectifier for minimal external part count and high efficiency. The ADP2108 has an internal soft start and is internally compensated. During logic controlled shutdown, the input is disconnected from the output and the ADP2108 draws less than 1 ?A from the input source.Other key features include undervoltage lockout to prevent deep battery discharge and soft start to prevent input current over-shoot at startup. The ADP2108 is available in 5-ball WLCSP and 5-lead TSOT packages. The ADP2109 provides the same features and operations as the ADP2108 and has the additional function of a discharge switch in the WLCSP package.APPLICATIONS PDAs and palmtop computers Wireless handsets Digital audio, portable media players Digital cameras, GPS navigation units

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7981 is a 16-bit, successive approximation, PulSAR? analog-to-digital converter (ADC) designed for high temperature operation. The AD7981 is capable of sample rates of up to 600 kSPS while maintaining low power consumption from a single power supply, VDD. It is a fast throughput, high accuracy, high temperature, successive approximation register (SAR) ADC, packaged in a small form factor with a versatile serial port interface (SPI).On the CNV rising edge, the AD7981 samples an analog input, IN+, between 0 V and REF with respect to a ground sense, IN?. The reference voltage, REF, is applied externally and can be set independent of the supply voltage, VDD. The device power scales linearly with throughput. The SPI-compatible serial interface also features the ability, using the SDI input, to daisy-chain several ADCs on a single, 3-wire bus and provides an optional busy indicator. It is compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, or 5 V logic, using the separate supply, VIO.For space constrained applications, the AD7981 is available in a 10-lead mini small outline package (MSOP) with operation speci-fied from ?55?C to +175?C and 10-lead ceramic flat package (FLATPACK) with operation specified from ?55?C to +210?C. These packages are designed for robustness at extreme temperatures, including monometallic wire bonding, and are qualified for up to 1000 hours of operation at the maximum temperature rating. The AD7981 is a member of a growing series of high temperature qualified products offered by Analog Devices, Inc. For a complete selection of available high temperature products, see the high temperature product list and qualification data available at www.analog.com/hightemp.Applications Oil and gas exploration Avionics Heavy industrial High temperature environments Scientific instrumentation
