The LT3088 can be paralleled for higher output current or heat spreading. The device withstands reverse input and reverse output-to-input voltages without reverse current flow.The LT3088?s precision 50?A reference current source allows a single resistor to program output voltage to any level between zero and 34.5V. The current reference architecture makes load regulation independent of output voltage. Demonstration circuit 833 is an ultralow dropout voltage supply using the 1.5A output current LTC3026 linear regulator in a small 3mm × 3mm 10-Pin DFN package. The DC833 has an input voltage range from 1.14V to 3.5V when the internal boost converter is enabled, and a maximum input voltage of 5.5V when an external source is supplied. The output voltage jumper-selectable and can be set to 0.8V, 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.5V, 1.8V or a user-defined value between 0.4V and 2.6V. The 0.4V reference of the LTC3026 allows the DC833 to supply power to very low voltage applications. The DC833 is also an excellent choice for post regulation of step-down switching regulators, creating a high efficiency low-noise supply. The DC833 comes assembled with small ceramic capacitors, showing the LTC3026's ability to maintain stability with ceramic output capacitors.

The AD7961 is a 16-bit, 5 MSPS charge redistribution successive approximation (SAR), analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The SAR architecture allows unmatched performance both in noiseand in linearity. The AD7961 contains a low power, high speed, 16-bit sampling ADC, an internal conversion clock and an internal reference buffer. On the CNV edge, the AD7961samples the voltage difference between the IN+ and IN? pins. The voltages on these pins swing in opposite phase between 0 V and 4.096 V/5 V. The reference voltage is applied to the partexternally. The ADF4002 frequency synthesizer is used to implement local oscillators in the up-conversion and down-conversion sections of wireless receivers and transmitters. It consists of a low-noise digital phase frequency detector (PFD), a precision charge pump, a programmable reference divider and programmable N divider. The 14-bit reference counter (R counter), allows selectable REFIN frequencies at the PFD input.A complete phase-locked loop (PLL) can be implemented if the synthesizer is used with an external loop filter and voltage controlled oscillator (VCO). The ADP2443 is synchronous step-down, dc-to-dc regulator with an integrated 98 m?, high-side power metal oxide semicon-ductor field effect transistor (MOSFET) and a 35 m?, synchronous rectifier MOSFET to provide a high efficiency solution in a compact 4 mm ? 4 mm LFCSP package. The regulators operate from an input voltage range of 4.5 V to 36 V. The output voltage can be adjusted down to 0.6 V and deliver up to 3 A of continuous current. The fast 50 ns minimum on time allows the regulators convert high input voltage to low output voltage at high frequency.The ADP2443 uses an emulated current mode, constant frequency pulse-width modulation (PWM) control scheme for excellent stability and transient response. The switching frequency of the ADP2443 can be programmed from 200 kHz to 1.8 MHz. The LTC3649 is a high efficiency 60V, 4A synchronous monolithic step-down regulator. The regulator features a single resistor programmable output voltage, internal compensation and high efficiencies over a wide VOUT range.The step-down regulator operates from an input voltage range of 3.1V to 60V and provides an adjustable rail-to-rail output range from (VIN ? 0.5V) to ground while delivering up to 4A of output current. The switching frequency is also adjusted with an external resistor. A user-selectable mode input is provided to allow the user to trade off ripple noise for efficiency at light loads; Burst Mode operation provides the highest efficiency at light loads, while forced continuous mode provides low output ripple. The MODE/SYNC pin can also be used to allow the user to synchronize the switching frequency to an external clock.The LTC3649 operates with a peak current mode architecture that allows for fast transient response with inherent cycle-to-cycle current limit protection. The demo board comes in two versions. The -A version uses inductor DCR current sensing with an iron powder inductor for high efficiency. The -B version uses a 2.5mΩ sense resistor for accurate current sensing with a low DCR ferrite inductor.

The LTC3838 is a dual, PolyPhase? synchronous step-down DC/DC switching regulator controller. Two independent channels drive all N-channel power MOSFETs. The controlled on-time, valley current mode control architecture allows for fast transient response and constant frequency switching in steady-state operation, independent of VIN, VOUT and load current. Its load-release transient detection feature significantly reduces overshoot at low output voltages.Differential output voltage sensing, along with a precision internal reference, offers an accurate ?0.67% output regulation on Channel 1, even if the remote output ground deviates from local ground by ?500mV. The second channel can either provide an independent ?1% output, or together with the first channel of this controller, serve as one of the PolyPhase channels for a single-output voltage.The switching frequency can be programmed from 200kHz to 2MHz with an external resistor, and can be synchronized to an external clock. Very low tON and tOFF times allow for near 0% and near 100% duty cycles, respectively.
