The LTC2323-14 is a low noise, high speed dual 14-bit + sign successive approximation register (SAR) ADC with differential inputs and wide input common mode range. Operating from a single 3.3V or 5V supply, the LTC2323-14 has an 8VP-P differential input range, making it ideal for applications which require a wide dynamic range with high common mode rejection. The LTC2323-14 achieves ?1LSB INL typical, no missing codes at 14 bits and 80dB SNR.The LTC2323-14 has an on-board low drift (20ppm/?C max) 2.048V or 4.096V temperature-compensated reference. The LTC2323-14 also has a high speed SPI-compatible serial interface that supports CMOS or LVDS. The fast 5Msps per channel throughput with one-cycle latency makes the LTC2323-14 ideally suited for a wide variety of high speed applications. The LTC2323-14 dissipates only 38mW per channel and offers nap and sleep modes to reduce the power consumption to 5?W for further power savings during inactive periods. The LTC6905 precision, programmable silicon oscillator is easy to use and occupies very little board space. It requires only a single resistor to set the output frequency from 17MHz to 170MHz with a typical frequency error of 0.5% or less.The LTC6905 operates with a single 2.7V to 5.5V power supply and provides a rail-to-rail, 50% duty cycle square wave output. The CMOS output driver ensures fast rise/fall times and rail-to-rail switching. Operation is simple: A single resistor, RSET, between 10K to 25K is used to set the frequency, and an internal three-state divider (DIV input) allows for division of the master clock by 1, 2 or 4, providing three frequencies for each RSET value.The LTC6905 features a proprietary feedback loop that linearizes the relationship between RSET and frequency, eliminating the need for tables to calculate frequency. The AD5590 is a 16-channel input and 16-channel output analog I/O port with eight uncommitted amplifiers, operating from a single 4.5 V to 5.25 V supply. The AD5590 comprises 16 input channels multiplexed into a 1 MSPS, 12-bit successive approximation ADC with a sequencer to allow a preprogrammed selection of channels to be converted sequentially. The ADC contains a low noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies in excess of 1 MHz.The conversion process and data acquisition are controlled using ASYNC and the serial clock signal, allowing the device to easily interface with microprocessors or DSPs. The input signal is sampled on the falling edge of ASYNC and conversion is also initiated at this point. There are no pipeline delays associated with the ADC. By setting the relevant bits in the control register, the analog input range for the ADC can be selected to be a 0 V to VREFA input or a 0 V to 2 ? VREFA with either straight binary or twos complement output coding. The conversion time is determined by the ASCLK frequency because it is also used as the master clock to control the conversion.The DAC section of the AD5590 comprises sixteen 12-bit DACs divided into two groups of eight. Each group has an on-chip reference. The on-board references are off at power-up, allowing the use of external references. The internal references are enabled via a software write.The AD5590 incorporates a power-on reset circuit that ensures that the DAC outputs power up to 0 V and remain powered up at this level until a valid write takes place. The DAC contains a power-down feature that reduces the current consumption of the device and provides software-selectable output loads while in power-down mode for any or all DAC channels. The outputs of all DACs can be updated simultaneously using the LDAC function, with the added functionality of user-selectable DAC channels to simultaneously update. There is also an asynchronous CLR that updates all DACs to a user-programmable code: zero scale, midscale, or full scale.The AD5590 contains eight low noise, single-supply amplifiers. Based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler? technology, the dc-to-dc converter provides regulated, isolated power that meets CISPR 32/EN 55032 Class B limits at a full load on a 2-layer printed circuit board (PCB) with ferrites. The AD8556 is a zero-drift, sensor signal amplifier withdigitally programmable gain and output offset. Designed toeasily and accurately convert variable pressure sensor andstrain bridge outputsto a well-defined output voltage range,the AD8556 accurately amplifies many other differential orsingle-ended sensor outputs. The AD8556 uses the ADIpatented low noise auto-zero and DigiTrim? technologies tocreate an incredibly accurate and flexible signal processingsolution in a very compact footprint.Gain is digitally programmable in a wide range from 70 to1,280 through a serial data interface. Gain adjustment canbe fully simulated in-circuit and then permanently programmedwith reliable polyfuse technology. Output offsetvoltage is also digitally programmable and is ratiometric to thesupply voltage. AD8556 also features internal EMI filters on theVNEG, VPOS, FILT and VCLAMP pins.In addition to extremely low input offset voltage, low inputoffset voltage drift, and very high dc and ac CMRR, the AD8556 also includes a pull-up current source at the input pinsand a pull-down current source at the VCLAMP pin. Thisallows open wire and shorted wire fault detection. A low-passfilter function is implemented via a single low cost externalcapacitor. Output clamping set via an external reference voltageallows the AD8556 to drive lower voltage ADCs safely andaccurately.When used in conjunction with an ADC referenced to the samesupply, the system accuracy becomes immune to normal supplyvoltage variations. Output offset voltage can be adjusted with aresolution of better than 0.4% of the difference between VDDand VSS.
