The SSM6515 is a fully integrated, high efficiency, mono Class-D audio amplifier with digital input that is ideally suited for use in wireless headphones. The application circuit requires few external components and operates from a 1.8 V (PVDD) supply and a 1.2 V to 1.8 V (IOVDD) supply. With 1.8 V signaling, these can be shared. It can deliver 85 mW of continuous output power into a 16 ? load with 90% efficiency at 55 mW into a 16 ? load and it has a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 113 dB, A weighted. Spread spectrum, stable common-mode pulse density modulation provides a much lower electromagnetic interference (EMI) radiated emissions compared with other Class-D architectures.The digital input eliminates the need of an external digital-to-analog converter (DAC). The SSM6515 has a micropower shutdown mode with a typical shutdown current of 6 ?A at the 1.8 V PVDD supply and can automatically power down with no input. The device also includes pop and click suppression circuitry that minimizes voltage glitches at the output during turn on and turn off. Inputs support various serial audio formats, including I2S, time division multiplexing (TDM), and pulse density modulation (PDM).The SSM6515 is designed to operate with an I2C control interface or in standalone mode and specified over the temperature range of ?40?C to +85?C. The device has built-in output short-circuit protection. The LTC2499 is a 16-channel (eight differential), 24-bit, No Latency ??? ADC with Easy Drive technology and a 2-wire, I2C interface. The patented sampling scheme eliminates dynamic input current errors and the shortcomings of on-chip buffering through automatic cancellation of differential input current. This allows large external source impedances and rail-to-rail input signals to be directly digitized while maintaining exceptional DC accuracy. The LTC2499 includes a high accuracy, temperature sensor and an integrated oscillator. This device can be configured to measure an external signal (from combinations of 16 analog input channels operating in single-ended or differential modes) or its internal temperature sensor. The integrated temperature sensor offers 1/30th?C resolution and 2?C absolute accuracy. The LTC2499 allows a wide common mode input range (0V to VCC), independent of the reference voltage. Any combination of single-ended or differential inputs can be selected and the first conversion, after a new channel is selected, is valid. Demonstration circuit 2718A is a no-opto flyback converter featuring the LT8316. The demo board outputs 12V and maintains tight regulation with a load current from 30mA to 3A. It is optimized to operate over a wide 100V to 600V DC input voltage range. Output voltage accuracy stays within ±5% over the entire input voltage and load range.
The LT8316 is a high voltage flyback controller. No optoisolator is needed for regulation. The part samples the output voltage from the isolated flyback waveform appearing across a third winding on the transformer. Quasi-resonant boundary mode operation improves load regulation. The LT8316 is available in a thermally enhanced 20-pin TSSOP package with four pins removed for high-voltage spacing.

Demonstration circuit SCP-ADP5070-EVALZ is a dual out-put DC-DC converter designed to create a dual polarity regulated voltage for powering several signal chains. The positive regulator provides 15V/1A of output while the negative regulator delivers –15V/300mA.
Like all boards in the Signal Chain Power series, this board is designed to be easily plugged into other SCP boards to form a complete signal chain power system, enabling fast evaluation of low power signal chains. To evaluate this board, some universal SCP hardware is required, namely:

The ADP2138 and ADP2139 are high efficiency, low quiescent current, synchronous step-down dc-to-dc converters. The ADP2139 has the additional feature of an internal discharge switch. The total solution requires only three tiny external components. When the MODE pin is set high, the buck regulator operates in forced PWM mode, which provides low peak-to-peak ripple for power supply noise sensitive loads at the expense of light load efficiency. When the MODE pin is set low, the buck regulator automatically switches operating modes, depending on the load current level. At higher output loads, the buck regulator operates in PWM mode. When the load current falls below a predefined threshold, the regulator operates in power save mode (PSM), improving light load efficiency.The ADP2138/ADP2139 operate on input voltages of 2.3 V to 5.5 V, which allows for single lithium or lithium polymer cell, multiple alkaline or NiMH cell, PCMCIA, USB, and other standard power sources. The maximum load current of 800 mA is achievable across the input voltage range.The ADP2138/ADP2139 are available in fixed output voltages of 3.3 V, 3.0 V, 2.8 V, 2.5 V, 1.8 V, 1.5 V, 1.2 V, 1.0 V, and 0.8 V. All versions include an internal power switch and synchronous rectifier for minimal external part count and high efficiency. The ADP2138/ADP2139 have internal soft start and they are internally compensated. During logic controlled shutdown, the input is disconnected from the output and the ADP2138/ADP2139 draw 0.2 ?A (typical) from the input source.Other key features include undervoltage lockout to prevent deep battery discharge, and soft start to prevent input current overshoot at startup.
