The HMC951A is a compact gallium arsenide (GaAs), monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC), in-phase quadrature (I/Q) downconverter in a RoHS compliant package that operates from 5.6 GHz to 8.6 GHz. This device provides a small signal conversion gain of 13 dB with a noise figure of 2 dB and an image rejection of 32 dBc. The HMC951A uses a low noise amplifier (LNA) followed by an image mixer that is driven by a local oscillator (LO) buffer amplifier. The image reject mixer eliminates the need for a filter following the LNA and removes thermal noise at the image frequency. The IF1 and IF2 mixer outputs are provided and an external 90? hybrid is needed to select the required sideband. The I/Q mixer topology reduces the need for filtering of unwanted sideband. The HMC951A is a smaller alternative to hybrid style, single sideband (SSB) downconverter assemblies, and it eliminates the need for wire bonding by allowing the use of surface-mount manufacturing techniques.The HMC951A is available in 4 mm ? 4 mm, 24-lead lead frame chip scale package (LFCSP) and operates over the ?40?C to +85?C temperature range. An evaluation board for the HMC951A is also available upon request. Demonstration circuits 1645A-A, 1645A-B, 1645A-C and 1645A-D feature the LTM8061, a 32V, 2A μModule® Li-Ion battery charger. Operating from a 6.5V to 32V input source, the 1645A-A and 1645A-B demo circuits charge single cell Li-Ion batteries to float voltages of 4.1V or 4.2V respectively. The 1645A-C and 1645A-D demo circuits operate from a 12V to 32V input source, and charge dual cell Li-Ion battery packs to float voltages of 8.2V or 8.4V. JP1 turns the converter on or off. JP2 allows for easy selection of C/10 or timer charge termination.

The LTC1068 product family consists of four monolithic clock-tunable filter building blocks. Each product contains four matched, low noise, high accuracy 2nd order switched-capacitor filter sections. An external clock tunes the center frequency of each 2nd order filter section. The LTC1068 products differ only in their clock-to-center frequency ratio. The clock-to-center frequency ratio is set to 200:1 (LTC1068-200), 100:1 (LTC1068), 50:1 (LTC1068-50) or 25:1 (LTC1068-25). External resistors can modify the clock-to-center frequency ratio. High performance, quad 2nd order, dual 4th order or 8th order filters can be designed with an LTC1068 family product. Designing filters with an LTC1068 product is fully supported by FilterCAD? filter design software for Windows. The LTC1068 products are available in a 28-pin SSOP surface mount package. The AD7262/AD7262-5 are dual, 12-bit, high speed, low power, successive approximation ADCs that operate from a single 5 V power supply. The AD7262 features throughput rates of up to 1 MSPS per on-chip ADC. The AD7262-5 features throughput rates of up to 500 kSPS. Two complete ADC functions allow simultaneous sampling and conversion of two channels. Each ADC is preceded by a true differential analog input with a PGA. There are 14 gain settings available: ?1, ?2, ?3, ?4, ?6, ?8, ?12, ?16, ?24, ?32, ?48, ?64, ?96, and ?128.The AD7262/AD7262-5 contain four comparators. Comparator A and Comparator B are optimized for low power, while Comparator C and Comparator D have fast propagation delays.
