The LTC2378-20, LTC2377-20 and LTC2376-20 are 20‑bit, low power, low noise SAR ADCs with serial outputs that operate from a single 2.5V supply. The demo manual refers to the LTC2378-20 but applies to all parts in the family, the only difference being the maximum sample rate. The LTC2378-20 supports a ±5V fully differential input range with a 104dB SNR, consumes only 21mW and achieves ±2ppm INL max with no missing codes at 20 bits. The DC1925A demonstrates the DC and AC performance of the LTC2378-20 in conjunction with the DC590 QuikEval™ and DC890 PScope™ data collection boards. Use the DC590 to demonstrate DC performance such as peak-to-peak noise and DC linearity.

Demonstration circuit DC266B-A is for the evaluation of 8th order filter circuits using an LTC1562 (no dash) and DC266B-B for an LTC1562-2. LTC1562 and LTC1562-2 are quad 2nd order active-RC filter building blocks. Each 2nd order section has an integrator trimmed with internal capacitors and resistors to 100kHz and 200 kHz for the LTC1562 and LTC1562-2 respectively. The trimmed frequency error is ±0.6% for the LTC1562A and ±1.5% for the LTC1562-2. The LTC1562 or LTC1562-2 2nd order sections can be configured with external resistors to implement lowpass, bandpass or highpass filters.

The LTC3246 is a switched capacitor buck-boost DC/DC converter with integrated watchdog timer. The device produces a regulated output (3.3V, 5V or adjustable) from a 2.7V to 38V input. Switched capacitor fractional conversion is used to maintain regulation over a wide range of input voltage. Internal circuitry automatically selects the conversion ratio to optimize efficiency as input voltage and load conditions vary. No inductors are required.The LTC3246?s reset time and watchdog timeout may be set without external components, or adjusted using external capacitors. A windowed watchdog function is used for high reliability applications. Demonstration circuits 1053A-E through 1053A-H exercise the LTC3526L family of high efficiency synchronous boost converters, and are capable of operating with an input voltage range from 0.8V to 5.5V. The 2 × 2 mm DFN thermally enhanced package, high switching frequency (1MHz or 2MHz) and 550mA internal power switches provide a very tiny solution. The LTC3526L family also features output disconnect, and the input voltage can be greater or less than the output voltage. DC1053A-G features the LTC3526L-2 (Burst mode operation) and the DC1053A-H features the LTC3526LB-2 (Burst mode defeated). Both have a 2MHz switching frequency and use a 2.2µH inductor.

The EVAL-ADXL367Z is a simple breakout board that enables easy connection of an ADXL367 into an existing system. The ADXL367 is a nanowatt, 3-axis, digital-output accelerometer whose industry leading low power consumption and built-in features make it ideal for use in a wide variety of applications. Due to its small size, the EVAL-ADXL367Z has minimal effect on performance of the system and of the accelerometer, and thus it is ideal for evaluation of the ADXL367 in an existing system.
