The LTC6947 is a high performance, low noise, 6GHz phase-locked loop (PLL), including a reference divider, phase-frequency detector (PFD), ultralow noise charge pump, fractional feedback divider, and VCO output divider. The fractional divider uses an advanced, 4th order ?? modulator which provides exceptionally low spurious levels. This allows wide loop bandwidths, producing extremely low integrated phase noise values. The programmable VCO output divider, with a range of 1 through 6, extends the output frequency range. The differential, low-noise output buffer has user-programmable output power ranging from ?4.3dBm to +4.5dBm, and may be muted through either a digital input pin or software. The ultralow noise charge pump contains selectable high and low voltage clamps useful for VCO monitoring, and also may be set to provide a V+/2 bias. All device settings are controlled through a SPI-compatible serial port.Applications Wireless Basestations (LTE, WiMAX, W-CDMA, PCS) Broadband Wireless Access Microwave Data Links Military and Secure Radio Test and Measurement

The AD5165 provides a compact 2.9 mm ? 2.8 mm packaged solution for 256-position adjustment applications. These devices perform the same electronic adjustment function as mechanical potentiometers or variable resistors, with enhanced resolution, solid-state reliability, and superior low temperature coefficient performance. The AD5165?s supply voltage requirement is 2.7 V to 5.5 V, but its logic voltage requirement is 1.8 V to VDD. The AD5165 consumes very low quiescent power during standby mode and is ideal for battery-operated applications.Wiper settings are controlled through a simple 3-wire interface. The interface is similar to the SPI? digital interface except for the inverted chip-select function that minimizes logic power consumption in the idling state. The resistance between the wiper and either endpoint of the fixed resistor varies linearly with respect to the digital code transferred into the wiper register.Operating from a 2.7 V to 5.5 V power supply and consuming less than 50 nA typical standby power allows use in battery-operated portable or remote utility device applications.Note: The terms digital potentiometer, RDAC, and VR are used interchangeably.APPLICATIONS Battery-operated electronics adjustment Remote utilities meter adjustment Mechanical potentiometer replacement Transducer circuit adjustment Automotive electronics adjustment Gain control and offset adjustment System calibration VCXO adjustment

The ADF7021-V is a high performance, low power, narrow-band RF transceiver based on the ADF7021-N. The architecture of the ADF7021-V transceiver is similar to that of the ADF7021-N except that an external VCO is used by the on-chip RF synthesizer for applications that require improved phase noise performance. The ADF7021-V is designed to operate in both the license-free ISM bands and in the licensed bands from 80 MHz to 960 MHz.To minimize RF feedthrough and spurious emissions, the external VCO operates at 2? or 4? the desired RF frequency; the ADF7021-V supports a maximum VCO frequency operation of 1920 MHz. The 4? VCO operation is programmable by enabling an additional on-chip divide-by-2 outside the RF synthesizer loop and offers improved phase noise performance. As with the ADF7021-N receiver, the IF filter bandwidths of 9 kHz, 13.5 kHz, and 18.5 kHz are supported, making the ADF7021-V ideally suited to worldwide narrow-band telemetry applications. The part has both Gaussian and raised cosine transmit data filtering options to improve spectral efficiency for narrow-band applications. It is suitable for circuit applications targeted at the following: European ETSI EN 300 220 North American FCC Part 15, Part 90, and Part 95 Japanese ARIB STD-T67 Korean short-range device regulations Chinese short-range device regulationsA complete transceiver can be built using a small number of discrete external components, making the ADF7021-V very suitable for area-sensitive, high performance driven applications.See data sheet for more information.APPLICATIONS Narrow-band, short range device (SRD) standards ETSI EN 300 220 FCC Part 90 (meets Emission Mask D requirements) FCC Part 95 ARIB STD-T67 Wireless Metering Narrow-band wireless telemetry

The ADM1169 Super Sequencer? is a configurable supervisory/ sequencing device that offers a single-chip solution for supply monitoring and sequencing in multiple supply systems. In addition to these functions, the ADM1169 integrates a 12-bit ADC and four 8-bit voltage output DACs. These circuits can be used to implement a closed-loop margining system that enables supply adjustment by altering either the feedback node or reference of a dc-to-dc converter using the DAC outputs. Supply margining can be performed with a minimum of external components. The margining loop can be used for in-circuit testing of a board during production (for example, to verify board functionality at ?5% of nominal supplies), or it can be used dynamically to accurately control the output voltage of a dc-to-dc converter. The device also provides up to eight programmable inputs for monitoring undervoltage faults, overvoltage faults, or out-of-window faults on up to eight supplies. In addition, there are eight programmable outputs that can be used as logic enables. Six of these programmable outputs can also provide up to a 12 V output for driving the gate of an N-FET that can be placed in the path of a supply. The logical core of the device is a sequencing engine (SE). This state machine-based construction provides up to 63 different states. This design enables very flexible sequencing of the outputs, based on the condition of the inputs. A block of nonvolatile EEPROM is available that can be used to store user-defined information and may also be used to hold a number of fault records that are written by the sequencing engine defined by the user when a particular fault or sequence occurs. The ADM1169 is controlled via configuration data that can be programmed into an EEPROM. The entire configuration can be programmed using an intuitive GUI-based software package provided by Analog Devices, Inc.
