The HMC797APM5E is a GaAs MMIC pHEMT Distributed Power Amplifier which operates between DC and 22 GHz. The amplifier provides 15 dB of gain, +29 dBm of output power at 1 dB gain compression, +31 dBm of saturated output power, and 25% PAE while requiring 400 mA from a +10 V supply. With up to +41 dBm of output IP3, the HMC797APM5E is ideal for high linearity applications in military and space as well as test equipment where high order modulations are used. This versatile PA exhibits a positive gain slope from 2 to 20 GHz making it ideal for EW, ECM, Radar and test equipment applications. Demonstration circuit 1829A is a high efficiency, high density, synchronous buck converter with 4.5V to 14V input voltage range. It can supply a 30A maximum load current with a 1.5V output. This demo board utilizes the LTC3866EUF, a feature-rich single phase synchronous buck controller with very low DCR current sensing capability, on-chip drivers and remote output voltage sensing. This board is setup with 0.32mΩ DCR inductor. The temperature compensation function guarantees accurate current limit over a wide temperature range with DCR sensing. The LTC3866 is suitable for operation from an input voltage of 4.5V to 38V and output voltages up to 3.5V.

The LTC1068 product family consists of four monolithic clock-tunable filter building blocks. Each product contains four matched, low noise, high accuracy 2nd order switched-capacitor filter sections. An external clock tunes the center frequency of each 2nd order filter section. The LTC1068 products differ only in their clock-to-center frequency ratio. The clock-to-center frequency ratio is set to 200:1 (LTC1068-200), 100:1 (LTC1068), 50:1 (LTC1068-50) or 25:1 (LTC1068-25). External resistors can modify the clock-to-center frequency ratio. Demo board DC2783A features the LT3040, a 200mA high performance, robust voltage reference/DAC buffer. LT3040 has ultralow output noise, ultrahigh power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) and low dropout voltage for powering noise sensitive, high accuracy systems. DC2783A has two inputs: V+ and VIN. V+ supplies power to the buffer, operating over a range from 2V to 20V. VIN is the regulation set-point for the output with a range from 0V to 15V. Current limit is programmable by connecting a resistor, R3, from ILIM to GND. The ILIM can also serve as a current monitor pin with a range from 0V to 300mV. LT3040 has fast start capability. Connecting FS pin across an input low pass filter resistor, R2, fast starts the LT3040. Fast start circuitry is typically triggered active if VFS − VIN ≥ 100mV and stays active until VFS – VIN ≤ 7mV. If fast start functionality is not needed, connect FS to VIN by setting R2 to 0Ω and applying the input voltage at FS. LT3040 has a fault flag to indicate faults at the output. Built-in protection includes reverse battery protection, reverse current protection, internal current limit with foldback and thermal limit with hysteresis. The LT3040 is assembled in a 12-lead MSOP and a 10-lead (3mm x 3mm) plastic DFN package with an exposed pad on the bottom-side of the IC. DC1724A is a μModule® step-down converter, featuring the LTM8029, which consumes only 5μA of quiescent current. The demo circuit is designed for a 5V, 600mA output at an operating frequency of 600kHz. The input voltage range is from 5.6V to 36V. If the input voltage decreases towards the programmed output voltage, the LT3973 will start to skip switch-off times and decrease the switching frequency to maintain output regulation up to a maximum duty cycle of approximately 97.5%.
