The ADL5501 is a mean-responding power detector for use in high frequency receiver and transmitter signal chains from 50 MHz to 6 GHz. It is easy to apply, requiring only a single supply between 2.7 V and 5.5 V and a power supply decoupling capacitor. The input is internally ac-coupled and has a nominal input impedance of 50 ?. The output is a linear-responding dc voltage with a conversion gain of 6.3 V/V rms at 900 MHz.The ADL5501 is intended for true power measurement of simple and complex waveforms. The device is particularly useful for measuring high crest factor (high peak-to-rms ratio) signals, such as CDMA-, CDMA2000-, W-CDMA-, and QPSK-/QAM-based OFDM waveforms. The on-chip modulation filter provides adequate averaging for most waveforms.The on-chip, 100 ? series resistance at the output, combined with an external shunt capacitor, creates a low-pass filter response that reduces the residual ripple in the dc output voltage. For more complex waveforms, an external capacitor at the FLTR pin can be used for supplementary signal demodulation.The ADL5501 offers excellent temperature stability across a 30 dB range and near 0 dB measurement error across temperature over the top portion of the dynamic range. In addition to its temperature stability, the ADL5501 offers low process variations that further reduce calibration complexity.The ADL5501 operates from ?40?C to +85?C and is available in a small 6-lead SC-70 package. The AD8332 is a dual channel ultralow noise, linear-in-dB, variable gain amplifier (VGA). Optimized for ultrasound systems, they are usable as a low noise variable gain element at frequencies up to 120 MHz.Included in each channel are an ultralow noise preamplifier (LNA), an X-AMP? VGA with 48 dB of gain range, and a selectable gain postamplifier with adjustable output limiting. The LNA gain is 19 dB with a single-ended input and differential outputs. Using a single resistor, the LNA input impedance can be adjusted to match a signal source without compromising noise performance.The 48 dB gain range of the VGA makes these devices suitable for a variety of applications. Excellent bandwidth uniformity is maintained across the entire range. The gain control interface provides precise linear-in-dB scaling of 50 dB/V for control voltages between 40 mV and 1 V. Factory trim ensures excellent part-to-part and channel-to-channel gain matching. Differential signal paths result in superb second- and third-order distortion performance and low crosstalk.The operating temperature range is -40?C to +85?C. The AD9083 is a 16-channel, 125 MHz bandwidth, continuous time ?-? (CTSD) ADC. The device features an on-chip, programmable, single-pole antialiasing filter and termination resistor that is designed for low power, small size, and ease of use. The 16 ADC cores features a first-order, CTSD modulator architecture with integrated, background nonlinearity correction logic and self cancelling dither. Each ADC features wide bandwidth inputs supporting a variety of user-selectable input ranges. An integrated voltage reference eases design considerations. The analog input and clock signals are differential inputs. Each ADC has a signal processing tile to filter out of band shaped noise from the ?-? ADC and reduce the sample rate. Each tile contains a cascaded integrator comb (CIC) filter, a quadrature digital downconverter (DDC) with multiple finite input response (FIR) decimation filters (decimate by J block), or up to three quadrature DDC channels with averaging decimation filters for data gating applications. Users can configure the Subclass 1 JESD204B based, high speed serialized output in a variety of lane configurations (up to four), depending on the DDC configuration and the acceptable lane rate of the receiving logic device. Multiple device synchronization is supported through the SYSREF?, TRIG?, and SYNCINB? input pins. The AD9083 has flexible power-down options that allow significant power savings when desired. All of these features can be programmed using a 1.8 V capable 3-wire serial port interface (SPI). LTC6813-1 Demo Board | 18-Channel Battery-Stack Monitor with Daisy-Chain Interface

Demonstration circuit 2350B features the LTC6813-1, 18-channel battery-stack monitor. Multiple boards can be linked through a 2-wire isolated serial interface (isoSPI™) to monitor a long series of cells in a stack. The DC2350B demo board also features reversible isoSPI enabling a redundant communication path. The PCB, components, and DuraClik connectors are optimized for low EMI susceptibility and emissions. The DC2350B can communicate to a PC by connecting a DC2792B dual master isoSPI together with DC2026C Linduino® One. The DC2026 must be loaded with the appropriate program (called a sketch) to control the battery-stack monitor IC and receive data through a USB serial port. The DC2026 provides a standard SPI interface which can be translated to isoSPI and then connected to a DC2350B isoSPI port (J4 or J5 connector). The DC2792B companion board provides two SPI-isoSPI channels for reversible operation.

The LTC4280 Hot Swap? controller allows a board to be safely inserted and removed from a live backplane. Using an external N-channel pass transistor, board supply voltage and inrush current are ramped up at an adjustable rate. An I2C interface and onboard ADC allow for monitoring of load current, voltage and fault status.The device features adjustable analog foldback current limit and a FILTER pin which configures the time spent in overcurrent before declaring a fault.
