The ADF5610 allows implementation of fractional-N or Integer N phase-locked loop (PLL) frequency synthesizers when used with an external loop filter and an external reference source. The wideband microwave voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) design permits frequency operation from 7300 MHz to 14600 MHz at a single radio frequency (RF) output. A series of frequency dividers with a differential frequency output allows operation from 57 MHz to 14600 MHz. Analog and digital power supplies for the PLL circuitry range from 3.1 V to 3.5 V, and the VCO supplies are between 4.75 V and 5.25 V. The charge pump supply voltage can be extended up to 3.6 V for improved frequency band overlap and extended upper frequency range.The ADF5610 has an integrated VCO with a fundamental frequency of 3650 MHz to 7300 MHz. These frequencies are internally doubled and routed to the RFOUT pin. An additional differential output allows the doubled VCO frequency to be divided by 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, or 128, allowing the user to generate RF output frequencies as low as 57 MHz. A simple 3?wire serial port interface (SPI) provides control of all on-chip registers. To conserve power, this divider block can be disabled when not needed through the SPI interface. Likewise, the output power for both the single-ended output and the differential output are programmable via the VCO register settings. The ADF5610 also contains various power-down modes for the VCO circuitry and PLL circuitry.The integrated phase detector (PD) and delta-sigma (?-?) modulator, capable of operating at up to 100 MHz, permit wide loop bandwidths and fast frequency tuning with a typical spurious level of ?100 dBc.With phase noise levels from ?115 dBc/Hz at 7.3 GHz to ?109 dBc/Hz at 14.6 GHz, the ADF5610 is equipped to minimize blocker effects, and to improve receiver sensitivity and transmitter spectral purity. The low phase noise floor eliminates any contribution to modulator and mixer noise floor in transmitter applications.The ADF5610 is a PLL with integrated VCO. The device features an innovative programmable performance technology that enables the ADF5610 to tailor current consumption and corresponding noise performance to individual applications by selecting either a low current consumption mode or a high performance mode for improved phase noise performance.Additional features of the ADF5610 include approximately 3 dBof RFOUT gain control in 1.5 dB steps and 5 dB of control onthe differential port in approximately 2.5 dB steps. The LTC2325-14 is a low noise, high speed quad 14-bit + sign successive approximation register (SAR) ADC with differential inputs and wide input common mode range. Operating from a single 3.3V or 5V supply, the LTC2325-14 has an 8VP-P differential input range, making it ideal for applications which require a wide dynamic range with high common mode rejection. The LTC2325-14 achieves ?1LSB INL typical, no missing codes at 14 bits and 81dB SNR.The LTC2325-14 has an onboard low drift (20ppm/?C max) 2.048V or 4.096V temperature-compensated reference. The LTC2325-14 also has a high speed SPI-compatible serial interface that supports CMOS or LVDS. The fast 5Msps per channel throughput with one cycle latency makes the LTC2325-14 ideally suited for a wide variety of high speed applications. Demonstration circuit 1643A is an isolated flyback converter featuring LT3575, a monolithic switching regulator specifically designed for the isolated flyback converter with an integrated 2.5A, 60V NPN transistor. The DC1643A is designed for 5V output from a 10V to 28V DC input. The output current capability depends on the input voltage, proper cooling, and the switch voltage stress. The output current is up to 1.4A when the input is higher than 10V, and 2A when the input is higher than 20V but less than 28V. The output current should not be higher than 2.4A for safe operation.

The ADuM6420A/ADuM6421A/ADuM6422A/ADuM6423A/ADuM6424A1 are quad-channel digital isolators with an isoPower?, integrated, isolated dc-to-dc converter. Based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler? technology, the dc-to-dc converter provides regulated, isolated power that meets CISPR 32/EN 55032 Class B limits at a full load on a 2-layer printed circuit board (PCB) with ferrites. Popular voltage combinations and the associated output current levels are listed in Table 1 in the data sheet.The ADuM6420A/ADuM6421A/ADuM6422A/ADuM6423A/ADuM6424A eliminate the need for a separate, isolated dc-to-dc converter in 500 mW, isolated designs. The DC3097A-KIT is a demonstration system for the LTC2980-24 for the 24-channel I2C/SMBus/PMBus Power System Manager (PSM) with EEPROM. It consists of 4 circuit boards, namely one DC3094A board and three DC1361B boards. The LTC2980-24 monitors and controls 24 power supply rails which are provided by three DC1361B power supply boards that plug into the DC3094A. The system demonstrates the ability of the LTC2980-24 to sequence, trim, margin, supervise, monitor, and log faults for the twenty-four power supplies. Together these four boards form a sophisticated, 24-channel, digitally programmable and digitally managed power supply system. The board set contains twenty-four independent power supply rails, by having the three DC1361B boards. All 24 rails are based on LTM4603 DC/DC μModule® switching regulators. The DC1361B board is pre-configured with output voltages ranging from 0.8V to 3.3V. The power supply channels may be reconfigured to different output voltages by changing the feedback resistors. The LTC2980-24 can be configured to monitor current on odd numbered channels. The DC1361B board has been designed to allow the user to enable this feature on Channel 7. In this configuration, Channel 7 measures the current on Channel 6’s 1V output. The LTpowerPlay® graphical user interface (GUI) supports this demonstration system and enables complete control of all the features of the LTC2980-24. Together, the LTpowerPlay software and DC3094A hardware system create a powerful development environment for designing and testing configuration settings of the LTC2980-24. LTpowerPlay stores these settings in the LTC2980-24 internal EEPROM or in a project file. The software displays all the configuration settings and real time measurements from the Power System Management IC. Telemetry allows easy access and decoding of the fault log created by the LTC2980-24. The board comes pre-programmed with the EEPROM values appropriate for the twenty-four power supply rails. The AD8556 is a zero-drift, sensor signal amplifier withdigitally programmable gain and output offset. Designed toeasily and accurately convert variable pressure sensor andstrain bridge outputsto a well-defined output voltage range,the AD8556 accurately amplifies many other differential orsingle-ended sensor outputs. The AD8556 uses the ADIpatented low noise auto-zero and DigiTrim? technologies tocreate an incredibly accurate and flexible signal processingsolution in a very compact footprint.Gain is digitally programmable in a wide range from 70 to1,280 through a serial data interface. Gain adjustment canbe fully simulated in-circuit and then permanently programmedwith reliable polyfuse technology. Output offsetvoltage is also digitally programmable and is ratiometric to thesupply voltage. AD8556 also features internal EMI filters on theVNEG, VPOS, FILT and VCLAMP pins.In addition to extremely low input offset voltage, low inputoffset voltage drift, and very high dc and ac CMRR, the AD8556 also includes a pull-up current source at the input pinsand a pull-down current source at the VCLAMP pin. Thisallows open wire and shorted wire fault detection. A low-passfilter function is implemented via a single low cost externalcapacitor. Output clamping set via an external reference voltageallows the AD8556 to drive lower voltage ADCs safely andaccurately.When used in conjunction with an ADC referenced to the samesupply, the system accuracy becomes immune to normal supplyvoltage variations. Output offset voltage can be adjusted with aresolution of better than 0.4% of the difference between VDDand VSS.
