The AD5724R/AD5734R/AD5754R are quad, 12-/14-/16-bit serial input, voltage output, digital-to-analog converters (DACs). They operate from single supply voltages of +4.5 V up to +16.5 V or dual supply voltages from ?4.5 V up to ?16.5 V. Nominal full-scale output range is software selectable from +5 V, +10 V, +10.8 V, ?5 V, ?10 V, or ?10.8 V. Integrated output amplifiers, reference buffers, and proprietary power-up/power-down control circuitry are also provided.The devices offer guaranteed monotonicity, integral nonlinearity (INL) of ?16 LSB maximum, low noise, 10 ?s typical settling time, and an on-chip +2.5 V reference.The AD5724R/AD5734R/AD5754R use a serial interface that operates at clock rates up to 30 MHz and are compatible with DSP and microcontroller interface standards. Double buffering allows the simultaneous updating of all DACs. The input coding is user-selectable twos complement or offset binary for a bipolar output (depending on the state of Pin BIN/2sCOMP) and straight binary for a unipolar output. The asynchronous clear function clears all DAC registers to a user-selectable zero-scale or mid-scale output. Demonstration circuit 2523A is an 18V, 8.5A (continuous)/12A (peak) synchronous step-down Silent Switcher® with 16µA quiescent current featuring the LT8652S. The LT8652S is a compact, high efficiency, high speed synchronous monolithic step-down switching with the second generation Silent Switcher structure that minimizes EMI and reduces PCB layout sensitivity. Top and bottom power switches, compensation components and other necessary circuits are inside of the LT8652S to minimize external components and simplify design. The demo board has two outputs: 3.3V and 1.2V from a 3.6V to 18V input. The wide input range allows a variety of input sources, such as automotive batteries and industrial supplies.
The SYNC pin on the demo board is grounded by default for low ripple Burst Mode® operation. Move JP2 to FCM without SSM position can change the operation mode to forced continuous mode operation. Once JP2 is on FCM with SSM position, VCC is applied to the SYNC pin for low EMI spread spectrum operation. To synchronous to an external clock, move JP2 to SYNC and apply the external clock to the SYNC turret.
The demonstration circuit 2523A runs at 2MHz to minimize solution size. The peak efficiency is 90%. The IC temperature rise is less than 70°C when both channels run at full load, 8.5A each, at 2MHz.
The demo board has EMI filters installed for both channels. To use the EMI filter, the input should be tied to VEMI1/VEMI2, not VIN1/VIN2.

The LTC3875 is a dual output current mode synchronous step-down DC/DC controller that drives all N-channel power MOSFET stages. It employs a unique architecture that enhances the signal-to-noise ratio of the current sense signal, allowing the use of very low DC resistance (DCR) power inductors to maximize efficiency in high current applications. This feature also reduces the switching jitter commonly found in low DCR applications with current mode control.The LTC3875 features two high speed differential amplifiers which can be used to compensate for the voltage drop from the LTC3875 to the load. Demonstration circuits 1053A-E through 1053A-H exercise the LTC3526L family of high efficiency synchronous boost converters, and are capable of operating with an input voltage range from 0.8V to 5.5V. The 2 × 2 mm DFN thermally enhanced package, high switching frequency (1MHz or 2MHz) and 550mA internal power switches provide a very tiny solution. The LTC3526L family also features output disconnect, and the input voltage can be greater or less than the output voltage. DC1053A-E features the LTC3526L (Burst mode operation) and the DC1053A-F features the LTC3526LB (Burst mode defeated). Both have a 1MHz switching frequency and use a 4.7µH inductor.

The EV-21593-SOM enables evaluation and rapid prototyping of designs featuring the ADSP-2159x Family (ADSP-21591/ADSP-21593) of SHARC audio processors. It provides an easy-to-use plug-n-play reference design with expansion capabilities to interface to custom hardware ahead of the release of the processor itself. When the EV-21593-SOM board is plugged into the EV-SOMCRR-EZKIT carrier board, the resulting EZ-KIT® evaluation system (EV-21593-EZKIT) can be used for fast and easy evaluation of the processor core and system peripherals/interfaces.
The EV-21593-SOM enables rapid prototyping for a wide range of applications, including immersive 3D sound and personal audio zones (PAZ), automotive active and road noise cancellation (ANC/RNC), voice-based user-interfaces and in-car communications (ICC), engine sound synthesis (ESS) and electric vehicle warning sound systems (EVWSS/AVAS). Additional applications include professional audio and soundbars / home AVRs (with 3D Object and Multi-Channel Audio) and enhanced conferencing systems.
