The LTC1643A is a Hot Swap? controller that allows a board to be safely inserted and removed from a live PCI-Bus slot. Two external N-channel transistors control the 3.3V and 5V supplies while on-chip switches control the ?12V and 12V supplies. All supply voltages can be ramped up at a programmable rate. An electronic circuit breaker protects all four supplies against overcurrent faults. The foldback current limit feature limits current spikes and power dissipation when shorts occur and allows boards with large capacitances to be powered up without tripping the circuit breaker. The PWRGD output indicates when all of the supply voltages are within tolerance and the FAULT output indicates an overcurrent condition. The ON(LTC1643AH)/ON (LTC1643AL/ LTC1643AL-1) pin is used to cycle the board power or reset the circuit breaker. LTM4647 High Efficiency, PolyPhase 120A Step-Down Power μModule Regulator

Demonstration circuit 2616A-D features a polyphase design using the LTM4647EY, a 30A high efficiency, switch mode step-down power µModule regulator. The input voltage range is from 6V to 15V. To use DC2616A-D for input voltage range from 4.7V to 6V, connect INTVCC to SVIN (change R22, R42, R55, R68 from OPT to 0Ω), DRVCC to VIN (change R21, R38, R52, R65 from 0Ω to OPT, R2, R39, R53, R66 from OPT to 0Ω). The output voltage range is 0.6V to 1.8V. The DC2616A-D can deliver a nominal 120A output current with four LTM4647 modules in parallel. As explained in the data sheet, output current derating is necessary for certain VIN, VOUT, and thermal conditions. The board operates in continuous conduction mode in heavy load conditions. For high efficiency at low load currents, the MODE_PLLIN jumper selects pulseskipping mode for noise sensitive applications or burst mode operation in less noise sensitive applications. The MODE_PLLIN pin also allows the LTM4647 to synchronize to an external clock signal. The phase shift between two adjacent phases is 90 degrees. DC2616A-D has the option of choosing both internal and external compensation circuit for LTM4647. The LTM4647 data sheet must be read in conjunction with this demo manual prior to working on or modifying demo circuit DC2616A-D.

The LTC1625 is a synchronous step-down switching regulator controller that drives external N-Channel power MOSFETs using few external components. Current mode control with MOSFET VDS sensing eliminates the need for a sense resistor and improves efficiency. The frequency of a nominal 150kHz internal oscillator can be synchronized to an external clock over a 1.5:1 frequency range.Burst Mode? operation at low load currents reduces switching losses and low dropout operation extends operating time in battery-powered systems. A forced continuous mode control pin can assist secondary winding regulation by disabling Burst Mode operation when the main output is lightly loaded.Fault protection is provided by foldback current limiting and an output overvoltage comparator. An external capacitor attached to the RUN/SS pin provides soft start capability for supply sequencing. The ADP2114 is a highly versatile, synchronous step-down, switching regulator that can be configured to satisfy a wide range of customer point of load requirements. The two PWM channels can be configured to deliver independent outputs at 2 A and 2 A (or 3 A/1 A) or can be configured as a single interleaved output capable of delivering 4 A. The two PWM channels are 180? phase shifted to reduce input ripple current and reduce input capacitance.The ADP2114 provides high efficiency performance at full loads, enabling high switching frequencies at up to 1.2 MHz. At light loads, the ADP2114 can be set to operate in pulse skip mode for higher efficiency or in forced PWM mode to reduce EMI.The device is designed with an optimized gate slew rate to reduce ENI emissions, allowing the device to supply sensitive, high performance signal chain applications. The frequency can be set to 300 kHz, 600 kHz and 1.2 MHz and can be synchronized to an external clock signal, minimizing the system noise between converters. The bidirectional synchronization pin is also configurable as a 90? out-of-phase output clock, providing the possibility for a stackable multiphase power solution.The ADP2114 input voltage range is from 2.75 V to 5.5 V, and it converts to fixed outputs of 0.8 V, 1.2 V, 1.5 V, 1.8 V, 2.5 V, or 3.3 V that can be set independently for each channel using external resistors. Using a resistor divider, it is also possible to set the output voltage as low as 0.6 V. The ADP1870?/ ADP1871 are versatile current-mode, synchronous step-down controllers that provide superior transient response, optimal stability, and current-limit protection by using a constant on-time, pseudo-fixed frequency with a programmable current-limit, current-control scheme. In addition, these devices offer optimum performance at low duty cycles by utilizing valley current-mode control architecture. This allows the ADP1870 / ADP1871 to drive all N-channel power stages to regulate output voltages as low as 0.6 V.The ADP1871 is the power saving mode (PSM) version of the device and is capable of pulse skipping to maintain output regulation while achieving improved system efficiency at light loads (see the Power Saving Mode (PSM) Version (ADP1871) section for more information).Available in three frequency options (300 kHz, 600 kHz, and 1.0 MHz, plus the PSM option), the ADP1870 / ADP1871 are well suited for a wide range of applications that require a single-input power supply range from 2.95 V to 20 V. Low voltage biasing is supplied via a 5 V internal LDO.In addition, an internally fixed soft start period is included to limit input in-rush current from the input supply during startup and to provide reverse current protection during soft start for a precharged output. The LTC2977 is an 8-channel Power System Manager used to sequence, trim (servo), margin, supervise, manage faults, provide telemetry and create fault logs. PMBus commands support power supply sequencing, precision point-of-load voltage adjustment and margining. DACs use a proprietary soft-connect algorithm to minimize supply disturbances. Supervisory functions include overvoltage and undervoltage threshold limits for eight power supply output channels and one power supply input channel, as well as over and under temperature limits. Programmable fault responses can disable the power supplies with optional retry after a fault is detected. Faults that disable a power supply can automatically trigger black box EEPROM storage of fault status and associated telemetry. An internal 16-bit ADC monitors eight output voltages, one input voltage, and die temperature. In addition, odd numbered channels can be configured to measure the voltage across a current sense resistor. A programmable watchdog timer monitors microprocessor activity for a stalled condition and resets the microprocessor if necessary. A single wire bus synchronizes power supplies across multiple LTC Power System Management (PSM) devices. The signal chain rejects signal offsets and corruption from asynchronous modulated interference, typically from ambient light, eliminating the need for optical filters or externally controlled dc cancellation circuitry.The electrocardiography (ECG) signal acquisition is designed to support low noise, diagnostic level measurement in the presence of a variety of interferers. The ECG signal chain has a number of complementary features supporting ECG measurement, such as driven reference for common-mode rejection and lead off detection to identify a fallen electrode.The body impedance analysis (BIA) signal chain is designed for body impedance measurement with a configurable excitation path and measurement path. The LTC2983 measures a wide variety of temperature sensors and digitally outputs the result, in ?C or ?F, with 0.1?C accuracy and 0.001?C resolution. The LTC2983 can measure the temperature of virtually all standard (type B, E, J, K, N, S, R, T) or custom thermocouples, automatically compensate for cold junction temperatures and linearize the results. The device can also measure temperature with standard 2-, 3- or 4-wire RTDs, thermistors and diodes. It has 20 reconfigurable analog inputs enabling many sensor connections and configuration options. The LTC2983 includes excitation current sources and fault detection circuitry appropriate for each type of temperature sensor.The LTC2983 allows direct interfacing to ground referenced sensors without the need for level shifters, negative supply voltages, or external amplifiers. All signals are buffered and simultaneously digitized with three high accuracy, 24-bit ??
