AD9761-EBZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD9761 is a complete dual channel, high speed, 10-bitCMOS DAC. The AD9761 has been developed specifically foruse in wide bandwidth communication applications (e.g., spreadspectrum) where digital I and Q information is being processedduring transmit operations. It integrates two 10-bit, 40 MSPSDACs, dual 2x interpolation filters, a voltage reference, anddigital input interface circuitry. The AD9761 supports a20 MSPS per channel input data rate that is then interpolatedby 2x up to 40 MSPS before simultaneously updating eachDAC.The interleaved I and Q input data stream is presented to thedigital interface circuitry, which consists of I and Q latches as wellas some additional control logic. The data is de-interleaved backinto its original I and Q data. An on-chip state machine ensures theproper pairing of I and Q data. The data output from each latch isthen processed by a 2x digital interpolation filter that eases thereconstruction filter requirements. The interpolated output of eachfilter serves as the input of their respective 10-bit DAC.The DACs utilize a segmented current source architecture combinedwith a proprietary switching technique to reduce glitchenergy and to maximize dynamic accuracy. Each DAC providesdifferential current output thus supporting single-ended ordifferential applications. Both DACs are simultaneously updatedand provide a nominal full-scale current of 10 mA. Also, the full-scale currents between each DAC are matched to within0.07 dB (i.e., 0.75%), thus eliminating the need for additionalgain calibration circuitry. The AD9761 is manufactured on an advanced low cost CMOSprocess. It operates from a single supply of 2.7 V to 5.5 V andconsumes 200 mW of power. To make the AD9761 complete italso offers an internal 1.20 V temperature-compensated bandgapreference.PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS Dual 10-Bit, 40 MSPS DACs A pair of high performance 40 MSPS DACs optimized for low distortion performance provide for flexible transmission of I and Q information. 2x Digital Interpolation Filters Dual matching FIR interpolation filters with 62.5 dB stopband rejection precede each DAC input, thus reducing the DACs? reconstruction filter requirements. Low Power Complete CMOS dual DAC function operates on a low 200 mW on a single supply from 3 V to 5.5 V. The DAC full-scale current can be reduced for lower power operation, and a sleep mode is provided for power reduction during idle periods. On-Chip Voltage Reference The AD9761 includes a 1.20 V temperature-compensated band gap voltage reference. Single 10-Bit Digital Input Bus The AD9761 features a flexible digital interface that allows each DAC to be addressed in a variety of ways including different update rates. Small Package The AD9761 offers the complete integrated function in a compact 28-lead SSOP package. Product Family The AD9761 Dual Transmit DAC has a pair of Dual Receive ADC companion products, the AD9281 (8 bits) and AD9201 (10 bits).

ADIS16265/PCBZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADIS16260?and ADIS16265 are programmable digital gyroscopes that combine industry-leading MEMS and signal processing technology in a single compact package. They provide accuracy performance that would require full motion calibration with any other MEMS gyroscope in their class. When power is applied, the ADIS16260 and ADIS16265 automatically start up and begin sampling sensor data, without requiring configuration commands from a system processor. An addressable register structure and a common serial peripheral interface (SPI) provide simple access to sensor data and configuration settings. Many digital processor platforms support the SPI with simple firmware-level instructions. The ADIS16260 and ADIS16265 provide several programmable features for in-system optimization. The sensor bandwidth switch (50 Hz and 330 Hz), Bartlett window FIR filter length, and sample rate settings provide users with controls that enable noise vs. bandwidth optimization. The digital input/output lines offer options for a data ready signal that helps the master processor efficiently manage data coherency, an alarm indicator signal for triggering master processor interrupts, and a general-purpose function for setting and monitoring system-level digital controls/ conditions. The ADIS16260 and ADIS16265 are drop-in replacements for the ADIS1625x family and come in LGA packages (11.2 mm ? 11.2 mm ? 5.5 mm) that meet Pb-free solder reflow profile requirements, per JEDEC J-STD-020. They have an extended operating temperature range of ?40?C to +105?C.APPLICATIONS Platform control and stabilization Navigation Medical instrumentation Robotics

Analog Devices Inc.
The LTC3601 is a high efficiency, monolithic synchronous buck regulator using a phase-lockable controlled on-time, current mode architecture capable of supplying up to 1.5A of output current. The operating supply voltage range is from 4V to 15V, making it suitable for a wide range of power supply applications. The operating frequency is programmable from 800kHz to 4MHz with an external resistor enabling the use of small surface mount inductors. For switching noise sensitive applications, the LTC3601 can be externally synchronized over the same frequency range. An internal phase-locked loop aligns the on-time of the top power MOSFET to the internal or external clock. This unique constant frequency/ controlled on-time architecture is ideal for high step-down ratio applications that demand high switching frequencies and fast transient response. The LTC3601 offers two operational modes: Burst Mode operation and forced continuous mode to allow the user to optimize output voltage ripple, noise, and light load efficiency for a given application. Maximum light load efficiency is achieved with the selection of Burst Mode operation while forced continuous mode provides minimum output ripple and constant frequency operation.Applications Distributed Power Systems Lithium-Ion Battery-Powered Instruments Point-of-Load Power Supply

EVAL-AD7400EDZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7400 is a second-order, sigma-delta (?-?) modulator that converts an analog input signal to a high speed, 1-bit data stream with on-chip digital isolation based on Analog Devices, Inc.?iCoupler? technology. The AD7400 operates from a 5 V power supply and accepts a differential input signal of ?200 mV (?320 mV full scale). The analog input is continuously sampled by the analog modulator, eliminating the need for external sample-and-hold circuitry. The input information is contained in the output stream as a density of ones with a data rate of 10 MHz. The original information can be reconstructed with an appropriate digital filter. The serial I/O can use a 5 V or a 3 V supply (VDD2).The serial interface is digitally isolated. High speed CMOS, combined with monolithic air core transformer technology, means the on-chip isolation provides outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives such as optocoupler devices. The part contains an on-chip reference. The AD7400 is offered in a 16-lead SOIC and has an operating temperature range of ?40?C to +105?C.An external clock version, AD7401, is also available.APPLICATIONS AC motor controls Data acquisition systems A/D + opto-isolator replacements
