SSM2317CBZ-REEL7

Analog Devices Inc.
The SSM2317 is a fully integrated, high efficiency, Class-D audioamplifier. It is designed to maximize performance for mobilephone applications. The application circuit requires a minimumof external components and operates from a single 2.5 V to 5.5 Vsupply. It is capable of delivering 3 W of continuous outputpower with 93 dB. Spread-spectrum pulse density modulation is used toprovide lower EMI radiated emissions compared with otherClass-D architectures.Automatic level control (ALC) can be activated to suppressclipping and improve dynamic range. This feature only requiresone external resistor tied to GND via the VTH pin and anactivation voltage on the ALC_EN pin.The SSM2317 has a micropower shutdown mode with a typicalshutdown current of 20 nA. Shutdown is enabled by applyinga logic low to the SD pin.The device also includes pop-and-click suppression circuitry. Thisminimizes voltage glitches at the output during turn-on and turn-off,reducing audible noise on activation and deactivation. The default gain of the SSM2317 is 18 dB, but users can reduce thegain by using a pair of external resistors. The SSM2317 is specified over the commercial temperature rangeof −40°C to +85°C. It has built-in thermal shutdown and outputshort-circuit protection. It is available in a 9-ball, 1.5 mm × 1.5 mmwafer level chip scale package (WLCSP).Applications Mobile phones MP3 players Portable gaming Portable electronics Educational toys

AD8227BRMZ-R7

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD8227 is a low cost, wide supply range instrumentation amplifier that requires only one external resistor to set any gain between 5 and 1000.The AD8227 is designed to work with a variety of signal voltages. A wide input range and rail-to-rail output allow the signal to make full use of the supply rails. Because the input range can also go below the negative supply, small signals near ground can be amplified without requiring dual supplies. The AD8227 operates on supplies ranging from ±1.5 V to ±18 V (2.2 V to 36 V single supply). The robust AD8227 inputs are designed to connect to real-world sensors. In addition to its wide operating range, the AD8227 can handle voltages beyond the rails. For example, with a ±5 V supply, the part is guaranteed to withstand ±35 V at the input with no damage. Minimum as well as maximum input bias currents are specified to facilitate open wire detection. The AD8227 is ideal for multichannel, space-constrained applications. With its MSOP package and 125°C temperature rating, the AD8227 thrives in tightly packed, zero airflow designs. The AD8227 is available in 8-pin MSOP and SOIC packages. It is fully specified for −40°C to +125°C operation. For a similar instrumentation amplifier with a gain range of 1 to 1000, see the AD8226.ApplicationsIndustrial process controlsBridge amplifiersMedical instrumentationPortable data acquisitionMultichannel systems
