The ADM1192 is an integrated current sense amplifier that offers digital current and voltage monitoring via an on-chip, 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC), communicated through an I2C interface.An internal current sense amplifier senses voltage across the sense resistor in the power path via the VCC pin and the SENSE pin.A 12-bit ADC can measure the current seen in the sense resistor and in the supply voltage on the VCC pin. An industry-standard I2C interface allows a controller to read current and voltage data from the ADC. Measurements can be initiated by an I2C command. Alternatively, the ADC can run continuously, and the user can read the latest conversion data whenever it is required. Up to four unique I2C addresses can be created, depending on the way the ADR pin is connected.A SETV pin is also included. A voltage applied to this pin is internally compared to the output voltage on the current sense amplifier. The output of the SETV comparator asserts when the current sense amplifier output exceeds the SETV voltage. This event is detected at the ALERT block. The ALERT block then charges up the external TIMER capacitor with a fixed current. When this timing cycle is complete, the ALERT output asserts.The ALERT output can be used as a flag to warn a micro-controller or field programmable gate array (FPGA) of an overcurrent condition. ALERT outputs of multiple ADM1192 devices can be tied together and used as a combined alert.A basic P-channel FET hot swap circuit can be implemented with the ALERT output. It has built-in thermal shutdown and output short-circuitprotection.The SSM2305 features a high efficiency, low noise modulationscheme that does not require external LC output filters. The modulationprovides high efficiency even at low output power. TheSSM2305 operates with 90% efficiency at 1.3 W into 8 Ω or 83%efficiency at 2.2 W into 4 Ω from a 5.0 V supply and has an SNR of>98 dB. Spread-spectrum pulse density modulation is used toprovide lower EMI-radiated emissions compared with otherClass-D architectures.The SSM2305 has a micropower shutdown mode with a maximumshutdown current of 30 nA. Shutdown is enabled by applyinga Logic 0 to the SD pin. The device also includes pop-and-clicksuppression circuitry. This minimizes voltage glitches at theoutput during turn-on and turn-off, thus reducing audible noiseon activation and deactivation.The fully differential input of the SSM2305 provides excellentrejection of common-mode noise on the input. Input couplingcapacitors can be omitted if the dc input common-mode voltageis approximately VDD/2.The SSM2305 has excellent rejection of power supply noise,including noise caused by GSM transmission bursts and RFrectification. PSRR is typically 60 dB at 217 Hz.The default gain of the SSM2305 is 18 dB, but users can reduce thegain by using a pair of external resistors.The SSM2305 is specified over the commercial temperature range(−40°C to +85°C). The OP270 is a high performance, monolithic, dual operational amplifier with exceptionally low voltage noise density (5 nV/√Hz maximum at 1 kHz). It offers comparable performance to the industry-standard OP27 from Analog Devices, Inc. The OP270 features an input offset voltage of less than 75 μV and an offset drift of less than 1 μV/°C, guaranteed over the full military temperature range. Open-loop gain of the OP270 is more than 1,500,000 into a 10 kΩ load, ensuring excellent gain accuracy and linearity, even in high gain applications. The input bias current is less than 20 nA, which reduces errors due to signalsource resistance. With a common-mode rejection (CMR) of greater than 106 dB and a power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) of less than 3.2 μV/V, the OP270 significantly reduces errors due to ground noise and power supply fluctuations. The power consumption of the dual OP270 is one-third less than two OP27 devices, a significant advantage for power conscious applications. The OP270 is unity-gain stable with a gain bandwidth product of 5 MHz and a slew rate of 2.4 V/μs.The OP270 offers excellent amplifier matching, which is important for applications such as multiple gain blocks, low noise instrumentation amplifiers, dual buffers, and low noise active filters.The OP270 conforms to the industry-standard 8-lead CERDIP and PDIP pinouts.
