The AD626 is a low cost, true single supply differential amplifier designed for amplifying and low-pass filtering small differential voltages from sources having a large common-mode voltage.The AD626 can operate from either a single supply of +2.4 V to +10 V, or dual supplies of ±1.2 V to ±6 V. The input common-mode range of this amplifier is equal to 6 (+VS - 1 V) which provides a +24 V CMR while operating from a +5 V supply. Furthermore, the AD626 features a CMR of 90 dB typ.The amplifier's inputs are protected against continuous overload of up to 50 V, and RFI filters are included in the attenuator network. The output range is +0.03 V to +4.9 V using a +5 V supply. The amplifier provides a preset gain of 10, but gains between 10 to 100 can be easily configured with an external resistor. Furthermore, a gain of 100 is available by connecting the G = 100 pin to analog ground. The AD626 also offers low-pass filter capability by connecting a capacitor between the filter pin and analog ground.The AD626A and AD626B operate over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The AD626 is available in two 8-pin packages: a plastic mini-DIP and SOIC.

The AD8251 is an instrumentation amplifier with digitally programmable gains that has GΩ input impedance, low output noise, and low distortion, making it suitable for interfacing with sensors and driving high sample rate analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). It has high bandwidth of 10 MHz, low THD of −110 dB, and fast settling time of 785 ns (maximum) to 0.001%. Offset drift and gain drift are guaranteed to 1.8 μV/°C and 10 ppm/°C, respectively, for G = 8. In addition to its wide input common voltage range, it boasts a high common-mode rejection of 80 dB at G = 1 from dc to 50 kHz. The combination of precision dc performance coupled with high speed capabilities makes the AD8251 an excellent candidate for data acquisition. Furthermore, this monolithic solution simplifies design and manufacturing and boosts performance of instrumentation by maintaining a tight match of internal resistors and amplifiers. The AD8251 user interface consists of a parallel port that allows users to set the gain in one of two different ways (see Figure 1 in data sheet for the functional block diagram). A 2-bit word sent via a bus can be latched using the WR input. An alternative is to use transparent gain mode where the state of logic levels at the gain port determines the gain. The AD8251 is available in a 10-lead MSOP package and is specified over the −40°C to +85°C temperature range, making it an excellent solution for applications where size and packing density are important considerations. The AD8317 is a demodulating logarithmic amplifier, capable of accurately converting an RF input signal to a corresponding decibel-scaled output. It employs the progressive compression technique over a cascaded amplifier chain, each stage of which is equipped with a detector cell. The device can be used in either measurement or controller modes. The AD8317 maintains accurate log conformance for signals of 1 MHz to 8 GHz and provides useful operation to 10 GHz. The input dynamic range is typically 55 dB (referenced to 50 Ω) with less than ±3 dB error. The AD8317 has 6 ns/10 ns response time (fall time/rise time) that enables RF burst detection to a pulse rate of beyond 50 MHz. The device provides unprecedented logarithmic intercept stability vs. ambient temperature conditions. A supply of 3.0 V to 5.5 V is required to power the device. Current consumption is typically 22 mA, and it decreases to 200 μA when the device is disabled.The AD8317 can be configured to provide a control voltage to a power amplifier or a measurement output from the VOUT pin. Because the output can be used for controller applications, special attention has been paid to minimize wideband noise. In this mode, the setpoint control voltage is applied to the VSET pin.The feedback loop through an RF amplifier is closed via VOUT, the output of which regulates the output of the amplifier to a magnitude corresponding to VSET. The AD8317 provides 0 V to (VPOS − 0.1 V) output capability at the VOUT pin, suitable for controller applications. As a measurement device, VOUT is externally connected to VSET to produce an output voltage, VOUT, that is a decreasing linear-in-dB function of the RF input signal amplitude.The logarithmic slope is –22 mV/dB, determined by the VSET interface. The intercept is 15 dBm (referenced to 50 Ω, CW input) using the INHI input.
