The SSM2305 is a fully integrated, high efficiency, Class-Daudio amplifier designed to maximize performance for mobilephone applications. The application circuit requires a minimumof external components and operates from a single 2.5 V to 5.5 Vsupply. It is capable of delivering 2.2 W of continuous outputpower with less than 1% THD + N driving a 4 Ω load from a5.0 V supply. It has built-in thermal shutdown and output short-circuitprotection.The SSM2305 features a high efficiency, low noise modulationscheme that does not require external LC output filters. The modulationprovides high efficiency even at low output power. TheSSM2305 operates with 90% efficiency at 1.3 W into 8 Ω or 83%efficiency at 2.2 W into 4 Ω from a 5.0 V supply and has an SNR of>98 dB. Spread-spectrum pulse density modulation is used toprovide lower EMI-radiated emissions compared with otherClass-D architectures.The SSM2305 has a micropower shutdown mode with a maximumshutdown current of 30 nA. Shutdown is enabled by applyinga Logic 0 to the SD pin. The device also includes pop-and-clicksuppression circuitry. This minimizes voltage glitches at theoutput during turn-on and turn-off, thus reducing audible noiseon activation and deactivation.The fully differential input of the SSM2305 provides excellentrejection of common-mode noise on the input. Input couplingcapacitors can be omitted if the dc input common-mode voltageis approximately VDD/2.The SSM2305 has excellent rejection of power supply noise,including noise caused by GSM transmission bursts and RFrectification. PSRR is typically 60 dB at 217 Hz.The default gain of the SSM2305 is 18 dB, but users can reduce thegain by using a pair of external resistors.The SSM2305 is specified over the commercial temperature range(−40°C to +85°C). It is available in both an 8-lead, 3 mm × 3 mmlead frame chip scale package (LFCSP) and an 8-lead mini smalloutline package (MSOP). The ADA4665-2 offers a low supply current of 400 μA maximum per amplifier at 25°C and 600 μA maximum per amplifier over the extended industrial temperature range. This feature makes the ADA4665-2 well suited for low power applications. In addition, the ADA4665-2 has a very low bias current of 1 pA maximum, low offset voltage drift of 3 μV/°C, and bandwidth of 1.2 MHz. The combination of these features, together with a wide supply voltage range from 5 V to 16 V, allows the device to be used in a wide variety of other applications, including process control, instrumentation equipment, buffering, and sensor front ends. Furthermore, its rail-to-rail input and output swing adds to its versatility. The ADA4665-2 is specified from −40°C to +125°C and is available in standard SOIC and MSOP packages.

The AD8213 is a dual-channel, precision current sense amplifier. It features a set gain of 20 V/V, with a maximum ±0.5% gain error over the entire temperature range. The buffered output voltage directly interfaces with any typical converter. Excellent common-mode rejection from −2 V to +65 V, is independent of the 5 V supply. The AD8213 performs unidirectional current measurements across a shunt resistor in a variety of industrial and automotive applications, such as motor control, solenoid control, or battery management.Special circuitry is devoted to output linearity being maintained throughout the input differential voltage range of 0 mV to 250 mV, regardless of the common-mode voltage present. The AD8213 also features additional pins that allow the user to low-pass filter the input signal before amplifying, via an external capacitor to ground. The AD8221 is a gain programmable, high performance instrumentation amplifier that delivers the industry’s highest CMRR over frequency in its class. The CMRR of instrumentation amplifiers on the market today falls off at 200 Hz. In contrast, the AD8221 maintains a minimum CMRR of 80 dB to 10 kHz for all grades at G = 1. High CMRR over frequency allows the AD8221 to reject wideband interference and line harmonics, greatly simplifying filter requirements. Possible applications include precision data acquisition, biomedical analysis, and aerospace instrumentation. Low voltage offset, low offset drift, low gain drift, high gain accuracy, and high CMRR make this part an excellent choice in applications that demand the best dc performance possible, such as bridge signal conditioning. Programmable gain affords the user design flexibility. A single resistor sets the gain from 1 to 1000. The AD8221 operates on both single and dual supplies and is well suited for applications where ±10 V input voltages are encountered. The AD8221 is available in a low cost 8-lead SOIC and 8-lead MSOP, both of which offer the industry’s best performance. The MSOP requires half the board space of the SOIC, making it ideal for multichannel or space-constrained applications. Performance is specified over the entire industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C for all grades. Furthermore, the AD8221 is operational from −40°C to +125°C*.
