The AD8312 is a complete, low cost subsystem for the measurement of RF signals in the frequency range of 50 MHz to 3.5 GHz. It has a typical dynamic range of 45 dB and is intended for use in a wide variety of cellular handsets and other wireless devices. It provides a wider dynamic range and better accuracy than possible using discrete diode detectors. In particular, its temperature stability is excellent over the full operating range of ?40?C to +85?C.Its high sensitivity allows measurement at low power levels, thus reducing the amount of power that needs to be coupled to the detector. It is essentially a voltage-responding device, with a typical signal range of 1.25 mV to 224 mV rms or ?45 dBm to 0 dBm, referencing 50 ?.For convenience, the signal is internally ac-coupled, using a 5 pF capacitor to a load of 3 k? in shunt with 1.3 pF. This high-pass coupling, with a corner at approximately 16 MHz, determines the lowest operating frequency. Therefore, the source may be dc grounded.The AD8312 output, VOUT, increases from close to ground to about 1.2 V because the input signal level increases from 1.25 mV to 224 mV. A capacitor may be connected between the VOUT and CFLT pins when it is desirable to increase the time interval over which averaging of the input waveform occurs.The AD8312 is available in a 6-ball, 1.0 mm ? 1.5 mm, wafer-level chip scale package and consumes 4.2 mA from a 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply.Applications Cellular handsets (GSM, CDMA, WCDMA) RSSI and TSSI for wireless terminal devices Transmitter power measurement

The ADA4805-1 is a high speed voltage feedback rail-to-rail output amplifier with an exceptionally low quiescent current of 495 μA, making it ideal for low power, high resolution data conversion systems. Despite being low power, this amplifier provides excellent overall performance. It offers a high bandwidth of 105 MHz at a gain of 1, high slew rate of 160 V/μs, and a low input offset voltage of 125 μV maximum.A shutdown pin allows further reduction of the quiescent supply current to 3 μA. For power sensitive applications, the shutdown mode offers very fast turn-on time of 3 μs from shutdown to fully on (output settled to 16 bits). This allows the user to dynamically manage the power of the amplifier by turning the amplifier off between ADC samples.The Analog Devices, Inc., proprietary extra fast complementary bipolar (XFCB) process allows for both low voltage and low current noise (5.9 nV/√Hz, 0.6 pA/√Hz). The ADA4805-1 operates over a wide range of supply voltages from ±1.5 V to ±5 V, as well as from single 3 V and 5 V supplies, making it ideal for high speed, low power instruments.The ADA4805-1 amplifier is available in both a 6-lead SOT-23 and a 6-lead SC70 package. The ADL5206 is a wide bandwidth, variable gain amplifier (VGA) with digital control (also known as a digital gain amplifier (DGA)) that provides precise gain control, high output third-order intercept (OIP3), and low noise figure over the entire gain range. The excellent OIP3 performance of 39.4 dBm (at 300MHz, 5 V supply, and maximum gain) makes the ADL5206 an excellent gain control device for a variety of receiver applications. For wide input dynamic range applications, the ADL5206 provides a broad 2 dB to 32 dB gain range with a 1 dB step size. The gain is adjustable through multiple gain control and interface options: parallel, serial peripheral interface (SPI), or gain step-up and step-down controls. The ADL5206 can be powered up independently by applying the appropriate logic level to the PWUP pin. The quiescent current of the ADL5206 is typically 112 mA with a 5 V supply. When disabled, the ADL5206 consumes only 8 mA and offers excellent input to output isolation. The gain setting is preserved when the device is disabled. Fabricated on the Analog Devices, Inc., high speed, silicon germanium (SiGe), bipolar complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (BiCMOS) process, the ADL5206 provides precise gain adjustment capabilities with good distortion performance. The ADL5206 amplifier comes in a compact, thermally enhanced, 4 mm ? 4 mm, 20-lead LFCSP and operates over the temperature range of ?40?C to +85?C. Note that throughout the data sheet, multifunction pins, such as CS/GS1/D3, are referred to by the entire pin name or by a single function of the pin.
