The LTC2452 is an ultra-tiny, fully differential, 16-bit, analog-to-digital converter. The LTC2452 uses a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply and communicates through an SPI interface. The ADC is available in an 8-pin, 3mm × 2mm DFN package or TSOT-23 package. It includes an integrated oscillator that does not require any external components. It uses a delta-sigma modulator as a converter core and has no latency for multiplexed applications. The LTC2452 includes a proprietary input sampling scheme that reduces the average input sampling current several orders of magnitude when compared to conventional delta-sigma converters. Additionally, due to its architecture, there is negligible current leakage between the input pins.The LTC2452 can sample at 60 conversions per second, and due to the very large oversampling ratio, has extremely relaxed anti-aliasing requirements. The LTC2452 includes continuous internal offset and full-scale calibration algorithms which are transparent to the user, ensuring accuracy over time and over the operating temperature range. The converter has an external REF pin and the differential input voltage range can extend up to ±VREF .Following a single conversion, the LTC2452 can automatically enter a sleep mode and reduce its supply current to less than 0.2μA. The LTC2301/LTC2305 are low noise, low power, 1-/2-channel, 12-bit successive approximation ADCs with an I2C compatible serial interface. These ADCs include an internal reference and a fully differential sample-andhold circuit to reduce common mode noise. The LTC2301/ LTC2305 operate from an internal clock to achieve a fast 1.3μs conversion time. The LTC2301/LTC2305 operate from a single 5V supply and draw just 300μA at a throughput rate of 1ksps. The ADC enters nap mode when not converting, reducing the power dissipation. The LTC2301/LTC2305 are available in small 12-pin 4mm × 3mm DFN and 12-pin MSOP packages. The internal 2.5V reference further reduces PCB board space requirements. The AD2S1210 is a complete 10-bit to 16-bit resolution tracking resolver-to-digital converter, integrating an on-board programmable sinusoidal oscillator that provides sine wave excitation for resolvers.The converter accepts 3.15 V p-p ± 27% input signals, in the range of 2 kHz to 20 kHz on the sine and cosine inputs. A Type II servo loop is employed to track the inputs and convert the input sine and cosine information into a digital representation of the input angle and velocity. The maximum tracking rate is 3125 rps.The AD2S1210WDSTZ and the AD2S1210WDSTZRL7 models have been approved by an independent accredited body for use in Automotive Safety Integrity Level B rated applications according to ISO 26262. System fault detection. A fault detection circuit can sense loss of resolver signals, out-of-range input signals, input signal mismatch, or loss of position tracking. The fault detection threshold levels can be individually programmed by the user for optimization within a particular application. Input signal range.
