MAX22190ATJ+T
Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX22190 is an IEC 61131-2 compliant industrial digital input device. The MAX22190 translates eight, 24V current-sinking, industrial inputs to a serialized SPI-compatible output that interfaces with 3V to 5.5V logic. A current setting resistor allows the MAX22190 to be configured for Type 1, Type 2, or Type 3 inputs. Field wiring is verified for proximity switches, by a second threshold detector on each input. When wire-break is enabled, the active-low FAULT output is asserted and a registerflag is set if the input current drops below the wire-break threshold for more than 20ms. Additional diagnostics thatassert the active-ow FAULT pin include: overtemperature, low 24V field supply, 24V field supply missing, CRC communication error, etc.For robust operation in industrial environments, each input includes a programmable glitch filter. The filter delay on each channel can be independently programmed to one of eight values between 50μs and 20ms, or filter bypass. The MAX22190 has a 4-pin SPI interface and in addition uses the active-low LATCH input for synchronizing input data across multiple devices in parallel.MAX22190 field-side accepts a single 7V to 65V supply to VDD24 pin. When powered by the field supply, MAX22190 generates a 3.3V output from an integrated LDO regulator, which can provide up to 25mA of current for external loads in addition to powering the MAX22190. Alternatively, MAX22190 can be powered from a 3.0V to 5.5V logic side supply connected to VDD pin. For flexibility, the SPI interface operates at 3.3V or 5V logic levels as controlled by the VL pin. MAX98050ENX+T
Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX98050 is a low-power, high-performance audio CODEC with integrated low-latency digital filters for wireless hearables, headsets, and headphones. The device features a mono playback channel with a 5-band biquad equalizer and a high-efficiency, fully differential hybrid class-AB/class-D headphone amplifier. The playback headphone amplifier is optimized for extremely low output noise levels and minimized quiescent power consumption while maximizing output power efficiency. The device includes three microphone input channels capable of supporting voice, ambient, and anti-noise record use cases. Each channel can individually record from either an external analog or digital microphone, and then can route audio data to both the record channels (to the digital audio interface) and the internal low-latency digital filter channels. A fourth record channel to the digital audio interface is provided to allow the host to monitor the playback channel output digital data. Two low-latency, digital filter channels are provided that can support a variety of use cases. These include noise cancellation applications (feed-forward, feedback, and hybrid filter profiles), both voice and ambient enhancement and transparency applications, and sidetone applications. Each channel provides a 12-band digital biquad filter, a DRC or Limiter stage, a digital volume control block, and an ultrasound filter. In addition, a third internal digital filter channel is provided in the playback channel that is structured for playback compensation and/or general feedback compensation filters. This channel includes a 10-band biquad filter and a digital volume control block. To support dynamic or adaptive filter and use case transitions, the biquad filters and volume controls provide banked profiles that can be updated/swapped without disruption to audio playback. The flexible digital audio interface supports common PCM audio data formats such as I2S, left-justified, and TDM timing with 16-bit, 24-bit, or 32-bit data word and channel lengths. The PCM interface supports playback sample rates from 8kHz to 192kHz and record sample rates from 8kHz to 48kHz. The device requires external bit and frame clocks but eliminates the need for a high-speed external master clock. The device is available in a small 6.7mm2 36-bump WLP package (0.4mm pitch) with a low 0.5mm height ideal for tight form factors. The device operates over the extended -40°C to +85°C temperature range.ApplicationsTrue Wireless Hearables and HeadsetsStereo Bluetooth Headsets and HeadphonesMono Bluetooth EarpiecesPSAP Devices and Hearing Assist DevicesVR/AR Headsets and Head-Mounted Devices

MAX17851AUP/V+
Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX17851 SPI to UART safety monitoring bridge translates communication from SPI format to universal asynchronous receiver transmitter (UART) format specially designed to interface with Maxim's Battery Management Data Acquisition System. The safety monitoring bridge enables robust communication with baud rates extending up to 4Mbps in both single and dual daisy-chain system architectures. High throughput, dual UART systems can read 96 cells of battery voltages within 1173us.The UART is ISO26262 compliant for automotive safety integrity level (ASIL) D systems providing detection of message corruption, delay, loss, and insertion through the embedded UART communication lock step safety measure state machine (LSSM). The {{max_num}} self verifies all communication within the message payload to simplify the software development on the host microcontroller.Additionally, the MAX17851 monitors the host microcontroller to detect any failures. In the event of a communication failure with the host, the MAX17851 first tries to automatically recover communication. If unsuccessful, it assumes control. The MAX17851 can then optionally re-configure the daisy chain network that allows battery conditions to continue to be monitored. This allows for continued safe system operation. Lastly, the MAX17851 provides contactor signalling in the event that the battery conditions fall outside of the programmed range, putting the complete system into a failsafe state.ApplicationsBattery Management Systems (BMS)Electric and Hybrid Electric Vehicles (EV/HEV)Energy Storage Systems (ESS)
