The MAX5054–MAX5057 dual, high-speed MOSFET drivers source and sink up to 4A peak current. These devices feature a fast 20ns propagation delay and 20ns rise and fall times while driving a 5000pF capacitive load. Propagation delay time is minimized and matched between the inverting and noninverting inputs and between channels. High sourcing/sinking peak currents, low propagation delay, and thermally enhanced packages make the MAX5054–MAX5057 ideal for high-frequency and high-power circuits.The MAX5054–MAX5057 operate from a 4V to 15V single power supply and consume 40µA (typ) of supply current when not switching. These devices have internal logic circuitry that prevents shoot-through during output state changes to minimize the operating current at high switching frequency. The logic inputs are protected against voltage spikes up to +18V, regardless of the VDD voltage. The MAX5054A is the only version that has CMOS input logic levels while the MAX5054B/MAX5055/MAX5056/MAX5057 have TTL input logic levels.The MAX5055–MAX5057 provide the combination of dual inverting, dual noninverting, and inverting/noninverting input drivers. The MAX5054 feature both inverting and noninverting inputs per driver for greater flexibility. They are available in 8-pin TDFN (3mm x 3mm), standard SO, and thermally enhanced SO packages. The MAX5062/MAX5063/MAX5064 high-frequency, 125V half-bridge, n-channel MOSFET drivers drive high-and low-side MOSFETs in high-voltage applications. These drivers are independently controlled and their 35ns typical propagation delay, from input to output, are matched to within 3ns (typ). The high-voltage operation with very low and matched propagation delay between drivers, and high source/sink current capabilities in a thermally enhanced package make these devices suitable for the high-power, high-frequency telecom power converters. The 125V maximum input voltage range provides plenty of margin over the 100V input transient requirement of telecom standards. A reliable on-chip bootstrap diode connected between VDD and BST eliminates the need for an external discrete diode.The MAX5062A/C and the MAX5063A/C offer both noninverting drivers (see the Selector Guide of the full data sheet). The MAX5062B/D and the MAX5063B/D offer a noninverting high-side driver and an inverting low-side driver. The MAX5064A/B offer two inputs per driver that can be either inverting or noninverting. The MAX5062A/B/C/D and the MAX5064A feature CMOS (VDD / 2) logic inputs. The MAX5063A/B/C/D and the MAX5064B feature TTL logic inputs. The MAX5064A/B include a break-before-make adjustment input that sets the dead time between drivers from 16ns to 95ns. The drivers are available in the industry-standard 8-pin SO footprint and pin configuration, and a thermally enhanced 8-pin SO and 12-pin (4mm x 4mm) thin QFN packages. The MAX5940A/MAX5940B/MAX5940C/MAX5940D provide complete interface function for a powered device (PD) to comply with the IEEE® 802.3af standard in a power-over-ethernet system. MAX5940A/MAX5940B/MAX5940C/MAX5940D provide the PD with a detection signature, a classification signature, and an integrated isolation switch with programmable inrush current control. These devices also feature power-mode undervoltage lockout (UVLO) with wide hysteresis and power-good outputs. The MAX5940A/MAX5940B are available with an absolute maximum rating of 80V and the MAX5940C/MAX5940D are rated for an absolute maximum rating of 90V.An integrated MOSFET provides PD isolation during detection and classification. All devices guarantee a leakage current offset of less than 10µA during the detection phase. A programmable current limit prevents high inrush current during power-on. The device features power-mode UVLO with wide hysteresis and long deglitch time to compensate for twisted-pair cable resistive drop and to assure glitch-free transition between detection, classification, and power-on/-off phases.The MAX5940A/MAX5940C provide an active-high (PGOOD) open-drain output and a fixed UVLO threshold. The MAX5940B/MAX5940D provide both active-high (PGOOD) and active-low (active-low PGOOD) outputs and have an adjustable UVLO threshold with the default value compliant to the 802.3af standard. The MAX7310 provides 8-bit parallel input/output port expansion for SMBus-compatible and I²C-compatible applications. The MAX7310 consists of an input port register, an output port register, a polarity inversion register, a configuration register, a bus timeout register, and an SMBus/I²C-compatible serial interface. The system master can invert the MAX7310 input data by writing to the active-high polarity inversion register. The system master can enable or disable bus timeout by writing to the bus timeout register.Any of the eight I/O ports can be configured as input or output.
