The AD5280 / AD5282 are single-channel and dual-channel, 256-position, digitally controlled variable resistors (VRs). The devices perform the same electronic adjustment function as a potentiometer, trimmer, or variable resistor. Each VR offers a completely programmable value of resistance between the A terminal and the wiper or the B terminal and the wiper. The fixed A-to-B terminal resistance of 20 kΩ, 50 kΩ, or 200 kΩ has a 1% channel-to-channel matching tolerance. The nominal temperature coefficient of both parts is 30 parts per million/ degrees centigrade (ppm/°C). Another key feature is that the parts can operate up to +15 V or ±5 V.Wiper position programming defaults to midscale at system power-on. When powered, the VR wiper position is programmed by an I2C-compatible, 2-wire serial data interface. The AD5280 / AD5282 feature sleep mode programmability. This allows any level of preset in power-up and is an alternative to a costly EEPROM solution. Both parts have additional programmable logic outputs that enable users to drive digital loads, logic gates, LED drivers, and analog switches in their system.The AD5280/AD5282 are available in thin, surface-mounted 14-lead TSSOP and 16-lead TSSOP. All parts are guaranteed to operate over the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C. The AD6623 is a four channel Transmit Signal Processor (TSP) that creates high bandwidth data for Transmit Digital-to-Analog Converters (TxDAC®s) from baseband data provided by a Digital Signal Processor (DSP). Modern TxDACs have achieved sufficiently high sampling rates, analog bandwidth, and dynamic range to create the first Intermediate Frequency (IF) directly. The AD6623 synthesizes multi-carrier and multi-standard digital signals to drive these TxDACs. The RAM-based architecture allows easy reconfiguration for multi-mode applications. Modulation, pulse-shaping and anti-imaging filters, static equalization, and tuning functions are combined in a single, cost-effective device. Digital IF signal processing provides repeatable manufacturing, higher accuracy, and more flexibility than comparable high dynamic range analog designs.The AD6623 is pin compatible to the AD6622 and can operate in AD6622 compatible control register mode. Each TSP has five cascaded signal processing elements: a programmable interpolating RAM Coefficient Filter (RCF), a programmable Scale and Power Ramp, a programmable 5th order Cascaded Integrator Comb (CIC5) interpolating filter, a flexible 2nd order Re-Sampling Cascaded Integrator Comb filter (rCIC2), and a Numerically Controlled Oscillator/tuner (NCO). The AD6623 has four identical digital TSPs complete with synchronization circuitry and cascadable wideband channel summation. The outputs of the four TSPs are summed and scaled on-chip. In multi-carrier channel wideband transmitters, a bi-directional bus allows the Parallel (wideband) IF Input/Output to drive a second DAC. In this operational mode two AD6623 channels drive one DAC and the other two AD6623 channels drive a second DAC. Multiple AD6623s may be combined by driving the INOUT[17:0] of the succeeding with the OUT[17:0] of the preceding chip. The INOUT[17:0] can alternatively be masked off by software to allow preceding AD6623s outputs to be ignored.Each channel accepts input data from independent serial ports that may be connected directly to the serial port of Digital Signal Processor (DSP) chips. The AD6623 utilizes a 3.3V I/O power supply and a 2.5V core power supply. All I/O pins are 5V tolerant. All control registers and coefficient values are programmed through a generic microprocessor interface. Intel and Motorola microprocessor bus modes are supported. The ADV7800 is a high quality, single-chip, multiformat 3D comb filter, video decoder, and graphics digitizer. This multiformat 3D comb filter decoder supports the conversion of PAL, NTSC, and SECAM standards in the form of a composite or an S-Video into a digital ITU-R BT.656 format. The ADuC7023 is a fully integrated, 1 MSPS, 12-bit data acquisition system, incorporating high performance multichannel ADCs, 16-bit/32-bit MCUs, and Flash/EE memory on a single chip.The ADC consists of up to 12 single-ended inputs. An additional four inputs are available but are multiplexed with the four DAC output pins. The ADC can operate in single-ended or differential input modes. The ADC input voltage is 0 V to VREF. A low drift band gap reference, temperature sensor, and voltage comparator complete the ADC peripheral set.The DAC output range is programmable to one of two voltage ranges. The DAC outputs have an enhanced feature of being able to retain their output voltage during a watchdog or software reset sequence.The devices operate from an on-chip oscillator and a PLL, generating an internal high frequency clock of 41.78 MHz. This clock is routed through a programmable clock divider from which the MCU core clock operating frequency is generated. The microcontroller core is an ARM7TDMI®, 16-bit/32-bit RISC machine that offers up to 41 MIPS peak performance. Eight kilobytes of SRAM and 62 kilobytes of nonvolatile Flash/EE memory are provided on chip. The ARM7TDMI core views all memory and registers as a single linear array.The ADuC7023 contains an advanced interrupt controller. The vectored interrupt controller (VIC) allows every interrupt to be assigned a priority level. It also supports nested interrupts to a maximum level of eight per IRQ and FIQ. When IRQ and FIQ interrupt sources are combined, a total of 16 nested interrupt levels are supported.On-chip factory firmware supports in-circuit download via the I2C serial interface port, and non-intrusive emulation is supported via the JTAG interface. These features are incorporated into a low cost QuickStart™ development system supporting this MicroConverter® family. The part contains a 16-bit PWM with five output signals.For communication purposes, the part contains 2 × I2C channels that can be individually configured for master or slave mode. The SSM2375 is a fully integrated, high efficiency, Class-D audioamplifier. It is designed to maximize performance for mobilephone applications. The application circuit requires a minimumof external components and operates from a single 2.5 V to 5.5 Vsupply. It is capable of delivering 3 W of continuous output powerwith 100 dB.Spread-spectrum pulse density modulation (PDM) is used toprovide lower EMI-radiated emissions compared with otherClass-D architectures. The inherent randomized nature ofspread-spectrum PDM eliminates the clock intermodulation(beating effect) of several amplifiers in close proximity.The SSM2375 includes an optional modulation select pin(ultralow EMI emissions mode) that significantly reduces theradiated emissions at the Class-D outputs, particularly above100 MHz. In ultralow EMI emissions mode, the SSM2375can pass FCC Class B radiated emission testing with 50 cm,unshielded speaker cable without any external filtering.The device also includes a highly flexible gain select pin thatallows the user to select a gain of 0 dB, 3 dB, 6 dB, 9 dB, or12 dB. The gain selection feature improves gain matchingbetween multiple SSM2375 devices within a single applicationas compared to using external resistors to set the gain.The SSM2375 has a micropower shutdown mode with a typicalshutdown current of 20 nA. Shutdown is enabled by applyinga logic low to the SD pin.The device also includes pop-and-click suppression circuitry.This suppression circuitry minimizes voltage glitches at theoutput during turn-on and turn-off, reducing audible noiseon activation and deactivation.Other features that simplify system-level integration of theSSM2375 include input low-pass filtering to suppress out-of-bandDAC noise interference to the PDM modulator and fixed-inputimpedance to simplify component selection across multipleplatform production builds.The SSM2375 is specified over the industrial temperature rangeof −40°C to +85°C. It has built-in thermal shutdown and outputshort-circuit protection.
