The ADuM142E1 is a quad-channel digital isolator based on Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. Combining high speed, complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and monolithic air core transformer technology, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives such as optocoupler devices and other integrated couplers. The maximum propagation delay is 13 ns with a pulse width distortion of less than 3 ns at 5 V operation. The fido2100 is part of the Innovasic fido® family of real-time communication products. The fido2100 is a managed, 3-port Ethernet switch with support for IEEE-1588 and Device Level Ring (DLR) protocol. The fido2100 enhances the capabilities of Innovasic’s line of Industrial Ethernet products by providing an infrastructure element with low latency, time synchronization and redundancy for any embedded Industrial Ethernet solution.The fido2100 is an IEEE 802.3 standard compliant, Layer 2 switch that is compatible with the IEEE 802.1D standard. It has three ports: two are external ports that function as physical ports of a product and one is an internal port that connects to the host CPU. Each of the three ports has an IEEE 802.3 compliant MAC and the ports are interconnected with each other through full wire speed, non-blocking switching logic. Figure 1 illustrates the top-level blocks of the fido2100 architecture.The pass-through of traffic is handled swiftly by using cut through forwarding to pass traffic to the other external port. This is accomplished without host CPU intervention, which keeps throughput time host interaction to a minimum and keeps pass through delay to a minimum.The fido2100 also has the ability to operate in a DLR configuration, which provides media redundancy amongst its members. Host CPU source code is available to provide the ability for the device to be a DLR participant or a DLR supervisor using the DLR support functions. The fido2100 will default to linear topology operation, and when inserted into a ring, will automatically change to DLR operation as a DLR participant.

The HMC571LC5 is a compact GaAs MMIC I/Q downconverter in a leadless RoHS compliant SMT package. This device provides a small signal conversion gain of 9 dB with a noise figure of 3.5 dB and 18 dB of image rejection across the frequency band. The HMC571LC5 utilizes an LNA followed by an image reject mixer which is driven by an active x2 multiplier. The image reject mixer eliminates the need for a filter following the LNA, and removes thermal noise at the image frequency.I and Q mixer outputs are provided and an external 90° hybrid is needed to select the required sideband. The ADV3228/ADV3229 are high speed 8 × 8 analog crosspoint switch matrices. They offer a −3 dB large signal bandwidth of 750 MHz (ADV3228) and a slew rate of 2500 V/μs.The ADV3228/ADV3229 include eight independent output buffers that can be placed into a high impedance state for paralleling crosspoint outputs to prevent off channels from loading the output bus. The AD9979 is a highly integrated CCD signal processor forhigh speed digital video camera applications. Specified at pixel rates of up to 65 MHz, the AD9979 consists of a completeanalog front end with analog-to-digital conversion, combined with a programmable timing driver. The Precision Timing core allows adjustment of high speed clocks with approximately 240 ps resolution at 65 MHz operation. The analog front end includes black-level clamping, CDS, VGA, and a 65 MSPS, 14-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The ADuC7060/ADuC7061 are fully integrated, 8 kSPS, 24-bit data acquisition systems incorporating high performance multi-channel sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), 16-bit/ 32-bit ARM7TDMI® MCU, and Flash/EE memory on a single chip.The ADCs consists of a 5-channel primary ADC and up to an 8-channel auxiliary ADC. The ADCs operate in single-ended or differential input modes. A single channel buffered voltage output DAC is available on-chip. The ADuM5210 / ADuM5211 / ADuM5212 are dual-channel digitalisolators with isoPower®, an integrated, isolated dc-to-dc converter. Based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology, the dc-to-dc converter provides regulated, isolated power that is adjustablebetween 3.135 V and 5.25 V. Input supply voltages can range from slightly below the required output to significantly higher. The ADuM7223 is a 4A isolated, half-bridge gate driver that employ Analog Devices, Inc.’s iCoupler® technology to provide independent and isolated high-side and low-side outputs. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic transformer technology, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives such as the combination of pulse transformers and non-isolated gate drivers. By integrating the isolator and driver in a single package, propagation delay is a maximum of only 60 ns and the propagation skew from channel to channel is a maximum of only 7ns.The ADuM7223 provides two independent isolation channels.The ADuM7223 operates with an input supply ranging from 3.0 V to 5.5 V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems. The outputs operate in a wide range from 4.5V to 18V with three output voltage versions available. The 5 × 5 mm, LGA package provides 565 V operating voltage from input to output and 700 V from output to output.In comparison to gate drivers employing high voltage level translation methodologies, these gate drivers offer the benefit of true, galvanic isolation between the input and each output.
